01/09/2025: For our first dinner of the holiday we were very disappointed. The pasta dish with squid ink and fish was simply bland, no flavor, nothing. For a primi piati at 17€ it was very disappointing. On the other hand, the riccota - lemon - sage ravioli was very good. But hey, for 17€ also and 5 ravioli it was clearly not worth it. Now let's talk about the service. It is simply unpleasant and hostile, it was as if they were bothered to serve us, not a smile, not a thank you. This restaurant is to be avoided.

24/08/2025: We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. They have a nice wine list with representation from different parts of Italy. Very good pasta dishes.

14/08/2025: Dinner for two, a bit late, so the restaurant was relatively empty. Considering the price, the service wasn't impeccable in my opinion, but the atmosphere was very pleasant. We had an appetizer, two first courses, and two desserts; I'd say everything was excellent and beautifully presented. The menu was quite extensive, with some serious options, including vegetarian options, and the wine list was more than good. I'd say the price was commensurate with the type of restaurant.

09/08/2025: We had a truly delicious meal here! We shared three pizzas for lunch between six of us. The staff is also super friendly and up for a chat (and a joke) and speaks good English. Highly recommended!

24/08/2025: We had dinner for two in August. Two veal with tuna sauce, a mixed fried fish, and pasta with clams for €83 (with just a bottle of water). The problem, besides the prices, is the quality of the food: the veal with tuna sauce tastes like the one you get at the supermarket, the pasta with clams is washed out, and the fried lake fish is full of fish bones and inedible. The service is impersonal. The only redeeming feature is the lake view, which is lovely. Highly not recommended; don't go!

03/05/2025: Non una cena, ma una piacevole esperienza tra le tradizioni di famiglia e la cucina tipica locale che si mischiano con profumi attuali in un contesto decisamente moderno. A fare da cornice ci sono Angelo e il proprietario che hanno reso tutto perfetto!

15/02/2025: Avrei voluto dare molto di più a questa recensione per il cibo veramente ottimo, ma il servizio ha rovinato un po' la serata... Ristorante carino pulito e moderno, forse eviterei i fiori finti... Ravioli d'anatra sublimi carne ottima così come i dolci. Purtroppo la valutazione risente del servizio. In carta veniva proposto un filetto di manzo alla senape e un agnello ai carciofi. Adorando i carciofi ed il filetto ho chiesto se si potesse avere questo abbinamento. La risposta secca e' stata non possiamo modificare i piatti. Va bene ma non ho chiesto un fuori menù.ho semplicemente chiesto di invertire 2 condimenti. Esempio spaghetti al pomodoro o penne al ragù...potrei avere gli spaghetti al ragù? No impossibile....mah Ci ritornerò, perché il cibo merita veramente e cambierò sicuramente valutazione. Forse il cameriere aveva avuto una giornata pesante.

18/08/2025: Perfect for a drink and a swim in the lake. You can also rent SUPs, etc. - unfortunately, we didn't have time for that.

14/08/2025: A lovely, quiet spot on the lake with comfortable, affordable lounge chairs. You can eat and drink, rent subs, go water skiing, etc. It's a nice, relaxing spot. Dogs are welcome in a designated area.

01/04/2025: Characteristic place with very friendly staff and punctual and fast service. At midday, a fixed menu with two choices for first and second courses. Good and genuine food. Right portion and very honest price. We will be back.

08/03/2025: In giro per baveno in cerca di un bel posto per cenare, ci consigliano questo ristorante. Cameriere molto gentile e professionale, locale accogliente ed elegante. Scelta di piatti limitata ma di ottima qualità, con porzioni adeguate.

21/02/2025: Ci siamo capitati per caso durante una giornata sul Lago Maggiore. Locale accogliente, servizio cortese con le giuste tempistiche. Piatti con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Discreta carta dei vini.

26/08/2025: The table was already reserved and nice, the menu wasn't special, we had to wait a long time, only the starter was good, the main course was completely forgotten, we were asked for dessert after the starter - after a long wait - the trout was cold (it should be), the roast was extremely dry, and dessert was two scoops of ice cream with caramel sauce. The service was nice but very slow and inattentive, tables weren't cleared for a long time, so we won't be coming back, which they probably won't care about - a shame.
