20/06/2025: It's OK. However, given the high prices and reviews, we expected more sophistication, etc. It wasn't anything extraordinary.
20/06/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant based on the positive reviews, and it was a revelation! The ambiance and service were fantastic! A small but extremely fine selection of dishes. The beef fillet with potato gratin was incredibly tender and delicious! The pasta or gnocchi in the first course were also a dream! We're going back here today on our last evening to enjoy this taste experience! Today with dessert (a chocolate cigar—what a wonderful idea for dessert).

14/06/2025: Elegant restaurant with a charming terrace overlooking the lake. Elegant and quiet environment, ideal for a relaxed experience. Good dishes in general, some more successful than others such as the pasta with Neapolitan ragù and the guancia, both excellent. Courteous and efficient service. Medium-high prices, consistent with the quality offered.

30/06/2025: We went on Monday and it was a beautiful day. The owner was very kind and Marika played all day with Lalla. We highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!
30/06/2025: It’s been 3 summers I’m going to Lido Baveno, great infrastructure, pet friendly, the place is very well managed and the lake maggiore is very clean and nice for a swim, I super recommend it!

18/03/2025: Questo ristorante si trova nel centro storico alto di Baveno……verrete accolti dalla cordialità dei proprietari e della gentilissima cameriera . Porzioni minuscole ma ben eseguite dall’antipasto al dolce . Superlativa la ricciola , golosissima la panna cotta 🍮.Ci ritorneremo appena possibile !

We received a friendly welcome without a reservation.😊 Great service from our waiters and a truly fantastic pizza.🍕😋👍 A little tip... try the specialty pizzas with pumpkin, whether with ham (Crema de Zuccha) or vegetarian with roasted carrots. Both are absolutely fantastic.🍕👍😊

13/05/2025: Great place for a walk. Lots of benches, near the lake there is a playground for children. After passing the park there is a descent to the beach accessible for strollers. The park is very well maintained and has beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. I recommend it, it is worth a visit.

19/06/2025: The food is excellent!!!
But - on our evening, in addition to the very dedicated chef, there were two young colleagues (male and female) working. Even though it really wasn't busy, we had to sit for 30 minutes with our used plates, while the young waiters didn't even think to attend to our or the other tables. They chatted with each other on the sidelines or individually fetched items from the kitchen. There's really nothing to be said for gastronomy!!! Six empty tables, abandoned by guests, have not been cleared for 60 minutes now.
We observed that other guests were also treated with disregard by the young staff.
Oh well - but the food was, as I said, very delicious! Sensational apple pie dessert!

Perfect service and the scallops for starter were perfectly cooked, but the steak was the best I've had in a long time. So well treated, so well cooked and flavoursome. Story ate most of it before I remembered to take a photo
