23/03/2024: A truly authentic Italian hotel with a family run vibe. Outstanding staff, good food and plenty of hot water! Highly recommended

02/03/2024: The customer service I have experienced is simply agony disguised as assistance. I decided to call to make a reservation and, naively, provided the card number, which worked perfectly. In response, they sent me a reassuring message on the booking confirmation. Well, after eight eternities, I receive another message stating that my card was, somehow, incorrect. A typo, presumably caused by a lack of basic skills in transcribing a damn number. In a fit of patience, I offer another card number immediately or even make an instant transfer, but what is the response? Radio silence I don't give up and, in my growing anger, after 24 hours I head to Booking. Oh, surprise, three rooms available! I make the reservation from there. I'm preparing to leave, but what happens after two hours? They call me claiming that the hotel is fully booked, when Booking, my lifeline, reports three rooms available. So now I find myself in a limbo waiting for the refund, a sort of purgatory that I fear I will never see come to an end. Incredible, but in all of this, my only certainty is my growing discomfort towards this structure Not recommended

11/03/2024: Rifugio-ristorante sulle piste molto accogliente e con atmosfera calda, soprattutto al primo piano. Ottima varietà nel menù, con proposte tradizionali piemontesi ma anche alcune rivisitazioni. Benissimo il vitello, promossi anche gli agnolotti. Conto al di sotto delle aspettative, vista la qualità dei piatti promossi. Consigliatissimo!

09/03/2024: The best restaurant on the slopes and perhaps in Sestriere. Reservations are required for lunch. Perfect mountain atmosphere with a simple but decidedly traditional menu. Every choice is excellent. The staff is extremely kind and professional. We returned on the second day because it couldn't have been done otherwise.

08/02/2024: now a guarantee when you go to Sestriere, a simple classic trip... always beautiful! which for us always starts with an excellent lunch at the refuge! staff always courteous, helpful and polite. Excellent dishes and lots of choice, really low prices for everything you have... and what a beautiful view (not looking at the cars but beyond).. in short, it tastes like home, you feel good and warm... you eat very well!!

14/02/2024: Had a coffee sitting at the tables outside. Once I get to the cash register I ask the girl how much I owe for the coffee, she immediately tells me one then corrects herself and asks me for two euros. Price for foreigners and tourists? Not even in the center of Courmayeur you pay so much.

07/02/2024: Buonissimo il servizio era veloce ma non soffocante, il cibo ottimo non ne parliamo propio. Ho ordinato un vitel tonné come antipasto ma che avrei mangiato come primo., Poi come primo ho ordinato una zuppa di legumi eccezionale, ed una tagliata di carne con contorno di patate al forno wow.

22/03/2024: NICE PLACE, We went to this place in Sestriere a week ago, excellent food and beautiful location. Kind and qualified staff, we were served by a girl for breakfast/lunch that was quick and attentive and I was immediately struck by her accent as she is an island girl like me (long live Sardinia). No live music but 5 stars deserved. Recommended we will return

12/03/2024: Un piccolo ma simpatico locale a ridosso delle piste, riparato dai portici. Ci siamo fermati brevemente ma abbiamo trovato cortesia di tutto il personale e un ottimo caffè (non è scontato!). Hanno un bellissimo angolo arredato in maniera calorosa con cuscini e plaid per una sosta più lunga (oltre ad altri tavolini s'intende). Carino

11/03/2024: Ristorante-pizzeria senza infamia nè lode in centro a Sestriere, con atmosfera abbastanza caotica. Pizza niente male e prezzi davvero modesti. Servizio veloce.

20/02/2024: Cibo pessimo proprietaria ancora peggio Un weekend tranquillo con gli amici sulla Neve rovinato da questa cena. La location lascia molto desiderare…si entra da una sorta di galleria mal messa. Abbiamo preso 2 polente con cervo che dopo TANTA attesa sono arrivate immerse un guazzetto poco invitante. Le fettuccine al cervo che sono diventati poi spaghetti, erano inguardabili è immangiabili. Proviamo a sperare di risollevare la cena con dei dolci ma niente da fare.. pessimi anche questi! In cassa lamentiamo il nostro disagio in maniera educata e la proprietaria ci risponde che solo gli italiani nel weekend creano problemi!! FUGGITE

19/03/2024: To avoid, we arrived at 4:45 p.m. for a drink but 15 minutes later the staff came to see us in a not very friendly manner to tell us that we had to leave. No time was indicated anywhere and when ordering the staff did not tell us that the closure was imminent.

13/03/2024: We visited this restaurant several times, attracted by its proximity to our hotel, for lunch or to enjoy an après-ski drink, for lack of better options nearby. If the staff is generally welcoming, the pizzas delicious and the rest of the menu quite correct, our experience was greatly overshadowed by the attitude of the owner. Omnipresent, she displays no sign of hospitality or friendliness, favoring only the profitability of her establishment. She does not hesitate to crowd customers by adding stools at the end of already crowded tables to optimize space. Children are prohibited from playing on an empty outdoor terrace under the vain pretext of safety. It is also required to arrive all together, otherwise you will not be able to occupy two tables before the first is completely full. Furthermore, the bill was systematically presented to us in the middle of the meal without our having asked for it, in an obvious attempt to make us leave the table as quickly as possible. As for après-ski, despite a pleasant terrace and a talented DJ, the logic of extreme profitability persists. You have to buy tokens at 8 euros each (unless purchased in bulk) for any drink, whether for a beer, a spritz of dubious quality or a simple coke. In short, despite undeniable potential and a largely pleasant team, the boss spoils the experience to the point of discouraging any return. A calculation that is probably profitable for her in the context of a vacation where the chances of seeing customers again are slim. An unfortunate paradox for a place that could offer much more.

08/01/2024: Sono andata a cena, ho ordinato due piatti di ravioli del costo di 18 euro l’uno e mi hanno portato al tavolo letteralmente un piatto con 3 piccoli ravioli di numero, io ho capisco che si cerca di imitare i ristoranti di lusso ma io trovo assurdo andare a cena in montagna e pagare 18 € per tre ravioli, visto che non siamo né a Milano e ne in un ristorante con stelle Michelin anzi tutto il contrario siamo in una baita dove ti aspetti di mangiate abbastanza e anche bene visto che oltre a tutto ciò questi 3 ravioli non erano neanche buoni, poi successivamente ho ordinato un tagliere di formaggi con 4 tipologie di formaggi, costo 16€, nel tagliere c’erano un pezzo di formaggio per ogni tipologia quindi di nuovo solo 4 pezzi di formaggio e con pezzi intendo piccole fette, e qua ritorniamo al discorso di prima e ripeto anche li nulla di che…. Non ve lo consiglio per nulla… vi fanno spendere un sacco di soldi, per un sacco di scena ma per nessuna sostanza.

03/04/2024: The Brasato was good but it came with polenta and the Tortelli was not tasty and the sausage did not have a typical taste, in addition soft drinks were served with an expiration date of 4 months. My wife's order did not come and the bill was charged. The charge was reversed and it was ok. They have few options on the menu and they don't understand any language other than Italian well. For a restaurant that tourists should frequent, it requires a little additional effort.

03/04/2024: I do not recommend the food and service at this place. Since then I always looked at Google maps before entering a restaurant and on this day I was so hungry that I only went into a restaurant to eat and was extremely disappointed. The presentation of the food is good, but the taste is completely opposite. The service was acceptable but they charged more. The Fanta had expired 4 months ago. I hope I never go back.

14/03/2024: The chocolate was great! I find myself forced to give one star due to the behavior of one of the bartenders, who, in a fit of sympathy, made a point of insulting a person I was with. I'll spare the details of the event for decency, but here, I wouldn't give money to certain characters.

11/03/2024: Pleasant environment and helpful waiters, shame about the terrible low quality industrial food. A beautiful showcase as it appears but the quality is terrible, I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it.
