02/04/2024: We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and it was a great experience. The hotel is very comfortable, the restaurant has a beautiful view and we had the experience of dining with the fireplace next to the snow. The staff and management are very friendly and courteous. There are some things that could be improved. The reception was closed at night, there was no contact to call in case of need (which we had because the child was ill one night and we didn't know who to turn to); the cleanliness of the room deserved more careful attention. The swimming pool was out of use although it was not reported at the time of booking (for us it was an important element because we needed it to entertain the child). The people who had to be qualified to spend time with the children should have done only that and not deal with other aspects within the hotel. Overall a nice holiday

23/03/2024: Quando uomini e montagne si incontrano, grandi cose accadono... e così, tra le alte vette di Sestriere, il Resort Shackleton, resta un gioiello di estrema bellezza. Siamo clienti che da anni tornano ad assaporare l'ottima cucina, l'accoglienza ottimamente gestita, gli ambienti accoglienti. Tutti gli anni ci facciamo un regalo che fa stare bene... per questo, consigliatissimo.

05/08/2024: Truly fantastic place....super location and view....excellent homemade food....excellent service and available to satisfy our requests.....if you don't have an off-road vehicle or an off-road motorbike you have to make a walk of about 10 minutes....it goes up quite a bit but it's worth getting there and having a nice meal of top products

28/07/2024: We stopped by to make a stop on our excursion. We weren't supposed to eat. We only took 2 cans of coke which we asked for at the counter and brought to the table (so, in short, no service, but it's absolutely not a problem, God forbid). The cans were out of the fridge, warm. Only my partner at a certain point noticed that there was one in the fridge and asked if she could take it (permission granted). We asked if they at least had ice and after a bit of hesitation it turned out. Cost: 8 euros. EIGHT EUROS. So, we've been going to the mountains all our lives. And we know very well what the costs of the shelters are, which is why we fully justify the prices. Carrying stuff up to 2000 meters and above is often no joke, and it comes at a cost. Very good. But here we are talking about a refuge an hour's walk (walk, not car) from Sestriere with a completely accessible road. I always pay whatever there is to pay, and I'm extremely happy to support the mountain. But I believe there is a limit to everything. 8 euros for two cans out of the fridge is not justifiable. In any case, my mistake which I noticed once I swiped the card. If I had asked before I certainly would not have purchased or I would have only purchased one.

14/02/2024: Had a coffee sitting at the tables outside. Once I get to the cash register I ask the girl how much I owe for the coffee, she immediately tells me one then corrects herself and asks me for two euros. Price for foreigners and tourists? Not even in the center of Courmayeur you pay so much.

07/02/2024: Buonissimo il servizio era veloce ma non soffocante, il cibo ottimo non ne parliamo propio. Ho ordinato un vitel tonné come antipasto ma che avrei mangiato come primo., Poi come primo ho ordinato una zuppa di legumi eccezionale, ed una tagliata di carne con contorno di patate al forno wow.

09/04/2024: Cool bar and restaurant, as well as its own bar with a quick snack right next to the ski area. Great location, super delicious food, price is right. There are cell phone chargers at certain tables in the restaurant. There is another bar on the roof with exceptional seating overlooking the ski area.

06/04/2024: Eating on the terrace ..... splendid view towards the slopes. Not easy to find a seat if you decide to use the self-service. Better to delay lunch!

06/08/2024: We were greeted very warmly and felt like we were at home. Fine starters and the best pizzas, plus a very large selection of fine Piedmontese and Sardinian wines, also by the glass.

09/08/2024: We had a great time. Summer lunch in the outdoor area, you can feel the genuine mountain flavor in the dishes and the refinement in the raw materials. The staff is very kind. Highly recommended.

31/08/2024: Siamo andati con amici durante una vacanza e ci siamo trovati benissimo: pizze di ottima qualità, dai gusti che spaziano dalle più classiche alle più originali, ad un prezzo davvero nella media. Servizio rapido e camerieri cortesi e disponibili, che hanno contribuito a farci passare una buona serata!

17/08/2024: Siamo stati in questo locale durante la nostra vacanza a Borgata Sestriere.La prima sera siamo entrati per caso e diciamo che non lo abbiamo più lasciato!Cucina piemontese davvero ottima.I peperoni con bagna cauda sono ottimi! Gli agnolotti al sugo davvero perfetti! Anche la cotoletta alla milanese con verdure grigliate una prelibatezza. I dolci squisiti... Le pizze sono cotte al punto giusto e l'impasto è davvero buono. I camerieri molto gentili e disponibili. Quando torneremo sicuramente questo ristorante sarà il nostro punto di riferimento .

06/04/2024: Three clues prove it! I ate very very well on three occasions, trying different foods each time. My favorite is the Barolo risotto, but I also found the other dishes fantastic. A special mention goes to the jovial and cheerful atmosphere of the women at the restaurant who made me feel at home. Enjoy!

29/03/2024: A nice place with good food and a rich choice of wine! The staff were friendly and helpful, they seemed a little in a hurry, but there were also a lot of people, okay 😉. Better to book in advance! Happy Easter!

25/08/2024: Cordialità e attenzione per il cliente,Marta una vera padrona di "casa".Menù ricco di piatti per tutti i gusti,ben serviti e davvero con prodotti di qualità.Il panorama inoltre è davvero una bella cornice.Consiglio vivamente a chiunque.

08/08/2024: Il cibo era molto buono e il personale molto cortese: a dimostrarlo è stata la particolare attenzione di un cameriere, vedendo che avessimo un cane, a portarci una ciotola con dell’acqua. Inoltre il cibo era davvero ottimo e l’attesa è stata corta. Consiglierei molto questo ristorante.
