12/12/2024: Ho chiesto a dei ragazzi dove si poteva mangiare qualcosa di buono e veloce per pranzo e ci hanno consigliato "il caminetto"... accoglienza super, focacce e piadine ottime ... se capiteremo di nuovo a sestriere torneremo senz'altro...

29/12/2024: I always go there with my family when we ski and in the summer for a nice walk. Strategic position for the ski slopes. Simple dishes but cooked very well. Welcoming environments. Even though the management has recently changed, the new managers are friendly and nice. I recommend it.

08/01/2025: Recommended by a friend of mine, it is actually a very high quality pastry shop, you can immediately perceive the fantastic and inviting smell. The hazelnut and raspberry dessert and the lady's kisses are super!

29/08/2024: I had the pleasure of trying their pastries during my holiday in Sestriere. We bought a tray for the August holiday. Possibly the best pastries I've ever eaten. I would really like to compliment the laboratory and all the staff, who are always kind and helpful. I will definitely come back as soon as I have the chance! Ps. I especially liked the chocolate and raspberry boats!

19/12/2024: “Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante durante il mio soggiorno in montagna, e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza impeccabile. Il servizio è stato eccellente: personale attento, cordiale e sempre disponibile. Il cibo è stato delizioso, con piatti ben curati e ricchi di sapore. Si percepisce chiaramente l’alta qualità dei prodotti utilizzati, freschi e locali, che esaltano ogni portata. Ci tengo a specificare che ogni piatto è fatto a mano dagli chef, cosa che ormai non si trova da nessuna parte! L’atmosfera calda e accogliente, con il panorama montano a fare da sfondo, ha reso tutto ancora più speciale. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un’esperienza gastronomica di alto livello!”

28/12/2024: Medium-low quality food, especially the ingredients of the pizzas and the wine in bulk. Slow service (true that there were two tables before us, but we waited almost an hour and a half). Not expensive.

27/08/2024: I went to the restaurant with my girlfriend, we spent a nice evening eating fish and everything Sicilian with highly professional, kind and friendly staff, the waiter Massimo who recommended a good Sicilian wine, we will definitely return!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Stunning place internally, a former stable from at least 100 years ago, nothing to do with the cheap places in Sestriere that only think about cashing in without investing a euro, the menu is soft being family run, therefore home cooking with excellent raw materials, the mass that comes to Sestriere in summer and winter who also go to the others...

22/02/2024: I had an aperitif with a friend as soon as we arrived in the sestiere, after asking around the village for a place where we could relax and sip a good gin and tonic we found ourselves in the dining room, welcomed in an excellent manner by the owner, serious, professional and friendly, experience similar to the one you have at your local bar, we recommend anyone passing through Sestriere to stop by the tinello bar located in the central square of Sestriere P.s Prices below average, excellent value for money I will definitely come back

22/08/2024: Una delle pizze più buone che abbia mai mangiato.. tra le cinque migliori sicuramente.. Sono stato in molte pizzerie tra Napoli e la Costiera ma questa non ha nulla da invidiare.. Finita la pizza non ho potuto che alzarmi e complimentarmi con i 2 pizzaioli dietro al banco, davvero bravissimi. Anche il dolce una goduria. APPLAUSI!!!

12/01/2025: Very bitter experience. Recommended by many skiers and a ski instructor, we show up at the refuge just before 3pm: the lady tells me that the kitchen is closed and that I can only prepare a drink and offer us what is displayed in the display case. I'm disappointed, I had a large group of three families with me, with two more on the way, but I understand it, and the other refuges also close the kitchen around 3pm. I understand the rest much less. They gave us a dirty table where only the 6 children could fit, adults standing or on a ridiculous two-seater sofa. Two customers sitting at a table, embarrassed by the behavior of the waiters, repeatedly offer to get up to give us their seats. Are we kidding? The place had numerous tables in different rooms, 2 tables only in the immediate vicinity, but they didn't seat us. I personally left in disgust. My companions told me that they stayed, that they drank the bombardini on the table which in the end, after an explicit request, was at least cleaned, they made the children eat the packaged snacks since there was nothing... all while the waiters and managers of the restaurant had served themselves a top-notch meal, with the aromas that the excellent dishes from the kitchen - now open - certainly released, at the next table. So: my friends on the sad table with hungry children and snacks, a table with two embarrassed customers who would like to give up their seats, a table with a banquet laid out for the owners, and a fourth table left empty out of spite, "booked" , "busy". The restaurant belongs to those who manage it, free to do what they want. But I have never experienced such an absurd situation, neither in Sestriere nor elsewhere. For my part I am very embarrassed to have brought my friends to such a place. I forgot: the delay in arriving was due to the Nube d'Argento chairlift which broke down. It is certainly not the refuge's job to compensate for the shortcomings of other operators in the sector, to deal with unexpected events or to show understanding, so my complaint is perhaps out of place. For this reason I took the trouble to argue, to allow the reader to give the right weight to the events, in relation to their own sensitivity. Edit: I changed the review to 3 stars so as not to unfairly penalize the quantitative score on Google, not having tasted the dishes which will surely be excellent. I have the utmost respect for those who work to achieve excellence and I understand a certain intolerance for the tourist who wants everything. I also appreciate the balance of the response given on the platform.
