08/01/2026: Excellent food, everyone was friendly... the only negative note, if it can be negative, is too much breathing down my neck. I also like to enjoy the atmosphere on holiday and the waitresses didn't seem very happy to me. Maybe they could be a little less strict????
04/01/2026: Dear all, I have to leave you a lovely review for the service we received (the attentive and welcoming staff at the helm) and for the excellent food we enjoyed for two days straight at this small, typical mountain restaurant. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of all the dishes we tried (the ones in the photos are just a sampling). We highly recommend anyone who comes to sit down, sip a good wine, and savor the delicious dishes prepared by the chefs with care and passion (it's not without reason that they've been open for 16 years!! So don't read the disparaging and haughty comments from those who consider themselves "starred": they've clearly lost their taste for authenticity). From appetizers to dessert, you'll rediscover the typical and succulent dishes of mountain cuisine. You'll feel right at home! Thanks again. We'll be back and will recommend this place to anyone coming to Pragelato. We also recommend booking as soon as possible: it fills up quickly!!

29/10/2025: August 13, 2025. Booked for 9, but only seats 4. The owner resolved the issue by having the children eat outside, despite the temperature. Once we'd ordered, he offered to offer us wine for the inconvenience, but when paying, something didn't add up.
A complete dinner, everything was very good, although the portions were very small. I don't recommend it because something strange happened when paying: he didn't give us the receipt, but sent it hours later on WhatsApp. We immediately noticed that the bill was 60-70 euros off. When we called the owner repeatedly and asked for clarification, he seemed irritated and rude, and to date we haven't received a definitive answer. In fact, he urged us to delete his number and never visit his restaurant again. When we legitimately asked for a breakdown of the prices applied to the bill, he replied in writing that he didn't have time to waste. However, we had paid immediately without having our legitimate receipt. It's a shame, I had great memories of that place, the "Greppia", and so I'm very sorry but I definitely won't go there again.

The manager is incredibly kind and hospitable. He makes you feel truly pampered.

22/09/2025: Good waffles, but nothing special. A little sparse in filling, the dough is good and the baking is soft enough for all tastes. I personally prefer them crispier, as tradition dictates.
Very kind and helpful staff. The place is self-service but clean.
€6 per waffle.

16/10/2025: A birthday gift from my girlfriend; we used the hot tub (38°C hydromassage) heated by a quality wood fire outdoors. It was very relaxing, with an interesting temperature difference from 4°C outside to 38°C in the water. As you step out of the water, you feel a significant regeneration, and as you step back in, your muscles loosen. The occasional smell of burning wood is also delicious; very soothing. Hygiene, privacy, and service were excellent. The wine and quality cutting board were served on a wooden board. Highly recommended as a gift or simply for an hour of relaxation. 1 hour €109 including a half-meter cutting board and glass. If you want a bottle and a 1-meter cutting board, it's €20 more.
16/10/2025: I stayed at the Pragelato apartments managed by this property. What can I say? Everything was perfect, clean, and in working order—perfect for those who want to experience the village and unwind. Comfortable beds, a magnificent terrace, equipped with pots, pans, plates, glasses, and a coffee maker. The only downside is that there's a very steep staircase to access the apartment, definitely not accessible to those with mobility issues. We're already thinking about returning soon for another trip.

20/08/2025: the food is inconsistent as some dishes can be a hit and others can leave you disappointed and even frustrated as you try to make sense of the ratio between your food and the price you have to pay. for the price of 18 euros you will be served an agnolotto plin alla selvaggina that will leave you unsatisfied as it lacks the punch and savour and tanginess you so wish from this place. as we felt we were left displeased from this dish we kindly and very respectfully asked for a bit more of sauce bc the other dish that was served was delicious and the agnolotti was extremely dry. the response was even more disappointing as we were met with a kind but very condescending response that completely neglected our needs. When we went to we expected to be met with a reason to why our dish was so disappointing but condescending was slapped in our face once again. anyway get the cervo with glara instead.

15/01/2026: A disappointing experience. The hotel owner, despite appearing friendly, turned out to be rude and unprofessional. Dinner, like all hotels, was scheduled from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the owner insisted that my partner and I come down for dinner at precisely 7:30 PM, otherwise he wouldn't let us have dinner. He also literally called us back because my partner hadn't eaten a full meal the previous evening, claiming it was rude to the cook. It's unheard of for the owner of a hotel where people go on vacation to demand and impose restrictive hours, and above all, to require guests, even if they've paid, to eat everything on their plate. Therefore, I strongly advise against staying at the Passat Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

12/07/2025: Ottima serata ed ottimo il pesce. Trovare pesce di mare così buono è davvero inusuale in alta val Chisone. Spaghetti allo scoglio e branzino alla pugliese da favola.
Da ripetere.

19/02/2025: El mejor servicio, la mejor comida. Fue una muy buena experiencia. El sabor, las vibraciones, el vino, oh Dios mío! Es una necesidad cuando vienes a esta región. Este año es la segunda vez que estuvimos aquí y es el mejor. Buenos precios, el mejor servicio. Definitivamente vendremos en otro momento.
20/01/2025: Locale grazioso con arredamento tipico da osteria di montagna. In sala il sug.Renzo molto cordiale, di una certa età un po' confusionario. Cibo buono anche se non eccellente, sinceramente avevo aspettative più alte. Porzioni sicuramente non da osteria ma da ristorante come anche i prezzi che tra l altro non si sanno fino al momento di pagare il conto in quanto non c'è un menù, le pietanze vengono elencate velocemente dal cameriere ...cosa a dir poco antipatica e non corretta.
Vale una cena se si alloggia a Pragelato solo perché forse in zona non c'è di meglio ...non tornerei certo volutamente .

La proprietaria Paola gentilissima, disponibile e simpatica. Nota di merito per il menù adattato ad una dieta vegetariana. Location tipica di montagna, calda e accogliente
