24/07/2026: Delicious lunch. We weren't planning a full meal before our visit to the hunting lodge but the cafe opposite only seemed to do a buffet so we opted for this. Have to ring the doorbell for entry which is weird but ok. Nice ladies serving. Menu asks for a two course minimum order. Highly recommended.

Let the staff recommend both food and wine. You won't regret it. The saffron tortelli with vermouth reduction and sautéed pine nuts, or the spectacular selection of cheeses, will put you back at peace with the world. The staff is definitely up to the high standard of this restaurant, almost a place from another era, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner at your leisure. Trust Monica and her colleague, who are extremely kind and friendly, and will be able to advise you on the best options because they understand their customers instantly. Then, if you really want to win the lottery, take home a bottle of Barbaresco grappa from the Levi distillery in Neive. If you spike your coffee with that, you won't even consider the price of this select grappa nectar: ​​it's worth every penny. They distill with the last direct-fire still left in Italy. Treat yourself.

30/07/2026: Orazio is now a trusted name for everything that comes out of his bakery. Lately, he's become well-known even among colleagues who live outside Nichelino. They prepared and organized a retirement reception for over 80 people, baking and promptly delivering dozens of trays of: pizza bianca, pizza Margherita, focaccia with onions, pretzels and mini pizzas, filled croissants, and dry pastries, all beautifully packaged, with the compliments and approval of all my colleagues. The service and kindness of all the girls is always top-notch, worthy of a 5-star rating. Congratulations, and thanks to Orazio and his "golden hands" for the delicacies he bakes for us every day.
