The restaurant is very well presented, well-kept and with a splendid outdoor area surrounded by nature. We had lunch inside, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The onion soup is highly recommended! The other dishes we saw arriving at the tables also looked really inviting. Impeccable service and a warm welcome.
We will definitely be back!

29/03/2025: Ottimo ristorante con annesso giardino fruibile d’estate. Noi andiamo spesso , molto cordiali tutti i componenti dello staff ! Ottimi antipasti ,primi e secondi con la tradizione della vallata ! Ottimi vini e dessert super ! Una sicurezza!!!

25/01/2025: In the restaurant there is an air of genuineness and home-cookedness. The idea of the open kitchen, friendly waiters, excellent food and really honest prices is nice. The pork shank cooked at low temperature and the tagliatelle with venison ragout are highly recommended.

13/04/2025: New management, with new entry, unfortunately still a lot of disorganization.
Very long queue also generated by a very small bar counter (probably 1 meter...) where people crowd after having given the receipt.
Coffee shop prices have certainly increased.
The view of the chaberton is excellent and does not justify the queues and prices.
Ps: very rude tourists, they leave skis in front of the refuge, dangerously occupying a good part of the slope.
Every now and then the owners might ask you to deposit your skis correctly or...sometimes call the police
Update as of April 11:
Last week of opening of the facilities, they decide to close given the low expected turnout... you should provide a service, even in the last days. Especially if you have been queuing up all year due to internal disorganization!
12/03/2025: Sono stato in questa bellissima baita esattamente nella settimana tra il 7 e il 10 febbraio,che dire,mi son trovato veramente benissimo e a mio agio, ho avuto modo di assaggiare vari piatti, partendo dai panini che per quanto semplici come piatti sono veramente buoni(specialmente la tonda cotto e formaggio).
Nei giorni successivi ho assaggiato i panini con gli hamburger,esattamente(Il Goloso),davvero ottimo e per concludere ho assaggiato la cucina con un ottima polenta cervo e degli agnolotti burro e salvia e un tiramisù,tutto veramente buono.
Personale super giovane e gentile, nonostante la numerosa quantità di persone in fila,il servizio é stato veloce e super efficiente.
Grazie mille tornerò sicuramente 💪

06/03/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso durante una sciata. Abbiamo mangiato dei fantastici hot dog con i crauti, ma anche i piatti che abbiamo visto serviti agli altri tavoli avevano davvero una bella faccia.
Anche il prezzo è decisamente migliore rispetto ai ristoranti sulle piste di Monginevro.

05/04/2025: Tipica trattoria di montagna , in un delizioso paese vicino sestriere : interni in legno, eleganti, raffinati , ambiente veramente bello.
Il menù non è molto ampio : 3 antipasti, 3 primi, 3 secondi e dolci . Menù della polenta a parte (servita con spezzatino, salsicce , formaggi o uova ).
Abbiamo iniziato con :
- tartare di fassona con uovo di quaglia (buona fresca , deliziosa )
- tomino con speck e cipolle caramellate
Abbiamo poi proseguito:
- arrosto di cervo con polenta (buono)
- polenta con uovo e burro fuso (uova deliziose )
- tagliolini con ragù di cinghiale : ragù un po’ liquido , il piatto che ci ha convinto meno.
Deliziosa la torta di nocciole

10/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo “veloce” che ci ha costretti a rallentare per degustare dei piatti invitanti accompagnati da un servizio professionale.
Ottimi i ravioli fatti in casa accompagnati da una spolverata di tartufo nero e la torta di nocciole con lo zabaione.

14/04/2025: Posto assolutamente caratteristico con cucina buona e porzioni sazianti. Sono stata in questo locale più volte negli ultimi anni, sia nella stagione estiva che invernale. Ho trovato sempre personale cortese e accomodante. Ho sempre preso la piazza, privandola di diversi gusti: persino ai frutti di mare e sono rimasta piacevolmente stupita! Ma la cosa più buona in assoluto sono assolutamente i dolci, specialmente il tiramisù: uno dei più buoni che io abbia mangiato. Ovviamente, si può magiare anche altro oltre alla pizza e l’unica nota dolente è che, specialmente i secondi piatti, mi sembrano un po’ troppi carini nonostante l’’indiscutibile qualità. La sala più interna è davvero confortevole con il suo caminetto, gli infissi in legno e le sedie con imbottitura di pelliccia. Consiglio vivamente di provare questo locale, io sicuramente ci tornerò!

I put a two, because I ordered a rissoto and it was tasteless and the rice was hard. The grilled meat was acceptable.
We didn't want to make dessert or coffee. I find the price and quality expensive.
We paid €50 for two dishes. I don't think I'll be back.
