22/05/2026: The owner, Bruno, greeted us so warmly that we immediately felt at home. We came for the goat cheese. He explained everything to us and let us try it all. The "Ricotta infornato" is truly divine, but because everything was so delicious, we didn't just buy that 🫠. At the last minute, we also decided to buy some slices of veal because it looked so fresh and appealing. Bruno let us try some ourselves, which we initially accepted with some hesitation, but then we were so impressed because it practically melted in our mouths. A true delight. They tasted just as good later when we briefly pan-fried them 👌🏼 In short: Anyone who goes to Pian di Mussa is missing out if they don't stop at the butcher shop and pick something up. The best butcher we've ever encountered.

07/06/2026: A place where I can feel at home and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place, along with the always warm welcome. Enjoy an excellent lunch and a delicious afternoon snack/aperitif with delicious and carefully prepared dishes made with the highest quality ingredients. The wonderful setting of the "La Montanara" chalet, surrounded by mountains and green meadows, and the soundtrack of the adjacent river. Not just lunch or dinner, but an experience not to be missed.

02/06/2026: Very beautiful place with a stunning view. Excellent food and impeccable service. I recommend including more vegetarian options on the menu. We'll definitely be back!

28/09/2025: A homey experience and very good traditional cuisine, unfortunately ruined by the final bill. The two of us spent €50 for an appetizer, a first course, and a glass of wine each, plus fried mushrooms, which further increased the bill. The fact that we were clearly tourists passing through probably prompted the cashier to add that extra 15%, otherwise I can't explain all the locals there. The cover charge was also disappointing: €2 per person for paper placemats and cutlery to keep for the entire dinner. Good quality, but the prices were truly excessive compared to expectations. It's our fault for not asking the prices beforehand, but it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I'm increasingly less confident in stopping to dine out when I travel around Northern Italy.
