A place where I can feel at home and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place, along with the always warm welcome. Enjoy an excellent lunch and a delicious afternoon snack/aperitif with delicious and carefully prepared dishes made with the highest quality ingredients. The wonderful setting of the "La Montanara" chalet, surrounded by mountains and green meadows, and the soundtrack of the adjacent river. Not just lunch or dinner, but an experience not to be missed.

Very beautiful place with a stunning view. Excellent food and impeccable service. I recommend including more vegetarian options on the menu. We'll definitely be back!

What can I say, after a few years the disappointment is bitter. We've gone from a typical mountain restaurant, with typical and abundant traditional dishes at fair prices, to a more gourmet wine bar model which, in my opinion, doesn't pay off... especially in terms of price, which clearly clashes with the mountain location in which it is located. What a shame.

A little gem in the Lanzo Valleys in Ala di Stura...very kind and attentive owners. In short...worth trying.

An excellent choice for evening meals, too, as is the pizzeria located in the center of Ala. It's clean and spacious, with excellent pizza and a wide selection. The owners are very kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

When you want to escape the chaos of the city, Baita La Montanare is a little slice of paradise. We come often; we chose it as the location for our wedding to share with our closest friends, and every time we have a great time. Excellent food, wine, and, above all, the hospitality. Excellent value, considering the use of high-quality, locally sourced products. Today, we tried the panna cotta with blue cheese, and what can I say? Delicious, like everything else. A second home.
