17/11/2025: A wonderful experience while passing through the Langhe. Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, the owner was very kind and recommended their own wine, which was truly delicious. The set menu is reasonably priced and very generous; reservations are recommended.

Lots of dishes, all very good, with the zabaglione to finish being the bomb!
18/11/2025: This new management is definitely better than the previous one, starting with the pizza, which is generously sized but has a fine, easily digestible, and well-leavened dough. The flavor and quality of the ingredients are excellent. The waiters are kind and helpful. Being located under the Vicoforte dome, the prices are a little high but still fair, given the quality of the food. Service is quick when the place is full. They even changed my coffee on their own without me even telling them, which is definitely another plus. Highly recommended.
Edit: I totally agree, but unfortunately the location doesn't allow them to keep prices this low, and I obviously appreciate their effort to keep them competitive.

27/10/2025: While searching for a venue for our wedding, we were captivated by Il Groglio, both for its sheer beauty and attention to detail, and for the mastery of its wonderful hostess, Nicoletta. After an initial quote, we immediately received the right attention and guidance from Nicoletta, who immediately won us over and clarified our few, confusing ideas with her professionalism and experience. The venue immediately offered us multiple options for an indoor or outdoor reception, a more dynamic or elegant setting, and adaptable to any weather (which was no mean feat for us, given that we were getting married at the end of October). We received countless compliments on the dinner menu, the aperitif, and the wine selection, as well as on the enchanting location. We are extremely satisfied! Nicoletta was able to captivate us with her attentiveness and accommodate our requests! Highly recommended!

IT WAS UNFORGETTABLE.
A wonderful lunch and a very interesting tour.
I was the guide and will definitely return with other groups.
27/07/2025: To celebrate my parents' 55th wedding anniversary, I wanted something worthy of their story.
The Emotional Menu was exactly that: a complete experience, designed to amaze, engage, and leave a lasting impression.
Every dish was a surprise: original yet harmonious pairings, a clever use of cocoa, and courses presented as a mini sensory journey.
All in a refined, welcoming setting, where you could feel a true passion for cooking and the guest experience.
After lunch, it was impossible not to stop by their pastry shop: cocoa pasta, Monregalesi pastries, artisanal chocolates... all irresistible, all to take home to prolong the magic.
We left with full hearts and smiles in our eyes.
A place worth experiencing, even just to remember that food can truly move us.

08/10/2025: Spacious, multi-level restaurant, very clean and tidy. The thin, crispy pizza is worth 1.50 per person. Minimal wait times, good wine selection with fair markups.

19/10/2025: Absurd. I have no idea why it only has 2 stars. Maybe it's because the owner doesn't believe in these things, since she's so sweet. As for the food, it's out of this world, homemade and sophisticated all at the same time. Pumpkin tortelloni with gorgonzola and guanciale... I wanted to take a photo but didn't have time... they were already eaten before being served, hahaha.
I'm a mess and disorganized. I come home dead tired and find everything tidy and organized.
The rooms are small but cozy, but it's not so much the luxurious location and gourmet cuisine that make the difference... the difference is the people who welcome you, and they are truly wonderful.

20/07/2025: On Saturday 12/07 I took the family to eat at this restaurant, unfortunately a negative experience, mainly the food was inadequate and some things were unpresentable, the place in general a bit dirty and the prices absolutely not appropriate, a bit too much for what we ate... the only positive thing was the kindness and politeness of the owner... and to say that we had already been there three times but we had to change our minds...

19/10/2025: They also make sandwiches. Fair prices. Strategic location. They have lots of pastries. The vanilla ice cream is tasteless and watery, the hazelnut is good, but it's a shame about the ice chunks inside. The girls are good, but the wait is incredibly long.
07/09/2025: There were two of us. We sat down and both asked for a non-alcoholic drink.
Two glasses arrived with 3 cm of brown liquid.
I discovered it was fruit juice.
Of course, I paid for it as a cocktail.
I'll change the venue next time.

15/09/2025: Fantastic location, plus there was a BMW motorcycle meeting on Sunday. Aperitif? Well, not bad. A prosecco, two strings, six pretzels, and chips for €13. The wine was good, maybe something to eat could have been added. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the famous melograno pastries because they were so huge. I can say that since they're always crowded, it's hard to keep up with the crowd, and the bathroom is outside. I don't really like that, but that's how it is in older establishments. I recommend it, even though they're always packed. Go if you have time, otherwise, don't.

26/10/2025: Beautiful location. Unfortunately, it's poorly maintained. Three tables for two and a bathroom in terrible condition: the condition is more worn than the number of people present. The food is poorly maintained. Exorbitantly priced: 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 dessert, two coffees, 1 water, and 1 glass of wine, €60.
12/10/2025: €20 for a bottle of wine from a well-known local discount store, which I pay €3 at the supermarket. I don't think there's anything else to add.

Purtroppo non mi sono accorto che il locale è su due pagine diverse.
Infatti ho fatto la recensione
al ristorante San Marco di Silvio Bessone.
Non mi sto più a ripetere e pertanto, chi fosse interessato a vedere il mio commento può andare a leggerlo lì.

22/12/2024: Visitato oggi dopo aver prenotato al telefono in settimana.
Locale accogliente ,caldo e pulito .
Menu a prezzo fisso( onestissimo ) ricco ed abbondante,e tutte le portate, già di per sé generose ,sono state offerte almeno 2 volte .
Ottimo cibo ,genuino, in un ambiente famigliare .
La polenta con i porri ,l' arrosto con i funghi e le tagliatelle col sugo di coniglio ,indimenticabili.
Torneremo presto .
