The waiter is very kind, friendly, and skilled.
03/06/2026: Off-menu seafood salad made with small squares of octopus, shrimp, and tiny shelled mussels and clams. It looked like food from a can.
This, a carbonara, two glasses of wine, and two desserts, €57.50.
I mentioned my disappointment with the seafood dish at the cashier, but the lady didn't understand Italian. The Italian waiter told me it had been eaten (my companion ate some, admittedly). I got a discount, as requested, but it ended up costing €55.
The bread, sliced, packaged. Terrible. Still, too much for two dishes and two desserts.
€6 worth of strawberries, cut into small pieces, macerated, and sour. Perhaps there could be some improvement.
I won't be returning. It's a shame because the atmosphere is nice.

12/05/2026: Chocolate holiday 2026... a wonderful experience, 24 hours with Silvio Bessone making chocolate, tasting his menus but above all listening to his expertise (born from a love for chocolate that is perceived in every word) and his boundless culture make this journey something difficult to forget... plus, nearby is the Basilica of the Nativity of Vicoforte: wonderful!!

17/01/2026: We only had New Year's Eve dinner, and I have to say it was a perfect evening. The place was obviously packed, but the service was fast and attentive. The girls were always available and smiling. The food was excellent and varied. At the end, since we wanted to go to the square for midnight and not spend it at the restaurant, a very kind lady gave us a bottle of sparkling wine before we left. These things make all the difference.

26/04/2026: Excellent restaurant! The dishes are carefully prepared and all delicious, from appetizers to dessert, served with care in beautiful rooms, and the location is stunning with a stunning view!
Pleasantly secluded and easily accessible by car, with parking available. The "Landandè" trail passes next to the restaurant. Aperitifs are also served outdoors in the shade of the trees. There are also spaces for children to play on the lawns.
A great experience! Compliments to the owner and chef Matteo Balbo and the staff.

16/08/2026: Nothing special... in short, reading online, you'd expect much more... the croissants were good, but we ordered two lattes and they brought us two cappuccinos in clear cups, the coffee was acceptable. In short, nothing special.
21/07/2026: Terrible experience. The staff was extremely rude, impolite, and arrogant—truly unacceptable behavior. The food, in our opinion, was also of poor quality and not up to par. I would never return and would never recommend it to anyone. Truly outrageous.

22/12/2024: Visitato oggi dopo aver prenotato al telefono in settimana.
Locale accogliente ,caldo e pulito .
Menu a prezzo fisso( onestissimo ) ricco ed abbondante,e tutte le portate, già di per sé generose ,sono state offerte almeno 2 volte .
Ottimo cibo ,genuino, in un ambiente famigliare .
La polenta con i porri ,l' arrosto con i funghi e le tagliatelle col sugo di coniglio ,indimenticabili.
Torneremo presto .

Purtroppo non mi sono accorto che il locale è su due pagine diverse.
Infatti ho fatto la recensione
al ristorante San Marco di Silvio Bessone.
Non mi sto più a ripetere e pertanto, chi fosse interessato a vedere il mio commento può andare a leggerlo lì.
