28/04/2026: Very good pizza, clean and intimate atmosphere, nothing to say. I gave 3 stars to the service only because there was an argument between the pizza chef and the girl that I heard from the table. In my opinion, it's not a good thing, but I'll be back anyway.

Nothing felt rushed; each plate arrived at just the right moment and tasted even better than it looked. Service was another highlight. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a recommendation or a friendly smile. It made the whole experience feel personal and genuinely enjoyable. Overall, Il Viavai delivers on every level: food, service, and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you remember long after leaving, and definitely somewhere worth returning to again and again.

13/03/2026: Mid-March, at noon, whether you choose a table on the veranda or not, you'll be seated in the sun or shade. Ambient music is played through three speakers (the sound is loud but of very good quality). Six radiant heaters are available for cooler days and evenings. The appetizers served with the spritz are delicious and beautifully presented.

11/02/2026: We dropped in after a very positive experience by chance a few months ago. We returned, and as soon as we entered, the owner greeted us warmly and with exceptional friendliness. He listened to our requests and immediately set to work preparing our cocktails with great skill! The result? Truly excellent! The appetizers on the accompanying plate were also delicious. Everything was wonderfully accompanied by excellent blues music chosen for us by the owner, which we greatly appreciated. The young staff were friendly and very kind! Thank you. See you soon! I highly recommend it!

11/11/2025: Everything is excellent, from the pizzas and focaccias that couldn't be better, and what's more, so many different flavors, meaning you'll be spoiled for choice. And the icing on the cake is also at fair prices, which is not easy to find these days when we're in the Mondovì area. It's a regular stop for a quick meal, and the best part is that it doesn't just have pizzas and focaccias, but also first courses, second courses, and side dishes. Congratulations!

21/04/2026: I recommend it for the simple service and the nice, convenient location in the center of Mondovì, not for the prices listed on the menu. The basic menu offers a choice of 4 appetizers, 4 first courses, 4 second courses, and side dishes. It's fine because I think it's fair, without too much waste in the kitchen. The quality of the ingredients is good, and they offer a seasonal menu. I can't give it 4 stars because online prices range from €20 to €40. It's better to write between €30 and €45. A hot appetizer like a vegetable flan or a Fassona steak tartare, for €12 (plus water), is already close to the minimum listed. For clarity, it's better to write €30 and up, so expectations are clear. But if you come in and leave for €20, you get nothing. The portions are certainly questionable and certainly not generous. I don't think I'll return. Sorry.

15/04/2026: Serving microwaved tajarin with fish in Italy is blasphemous. A glass of wine is a mere two fingers' worth, practically as if it were a tasting of the bottle... and it's expensive. The tart couldn't even be cut with a knife. The grand finale: grappa (like the wine) is a mere one-finger's worth of a glass. A terrible way to treat tourists. Then they complain that the restaurants in Mondovi are empty.

18/02/2026: We ended up at the trattoria almost by chance; we were dining at the Palazzo across the street. I've rarely experienced such unfriendly service. The food was only 2-3 stars, but right up until the end, when paying the bill, the person was completely detached from the atmosphere. A real shame!

04/04/2026: I went there for an aperitif on the recommendation of friends who had raved about it. Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience: the cocktails were quite watered down, the platters were very bland. It wasn't expensive, but the overall experience was decidedly low.
