18/02/2026: You guys are fantastic!!! The welcome was wonderful, smiling, kind, and professional (which is rare these days). We always come in the summer for our delicious granita. We happened to be in the area for Carnival, and what do you do? You don't get a granita when it's 30°F outside!? 🤣 On that occasion, the owner let us try their new fruit gelato... MANGO GELATO, GENTLEMEN. 👏💯 Perfect, well-balanced, excellent, and you can taste the fruit being processed fresh!!! Not those so-called "artisanal" powdered gelatos; you know how to distinguish quality. Highly recommended. (And the fact that they have granita in the winter is great!!!) See you this summer, as always, congratulations.

21/02/2026: Trattoria with a business menu. Choice of three first courses and three second courses, dessert, water, and wine. Pricing is not always clear. Food is prepared and kept warm, but not everything keeps very well. Recommended for a quick, unpretentious lunch.

21/02/2026: Highly recommended... I usually, with my job, never eat a starter, main course, dessert, and coffee because it makes me feel heavy. But at Aimo, I had to change my mind. The food is good, very digestible, and light. And if I add their friendliness... well, what can I say? Lunch breaks should last a little longer. Thanks again, and... keep up the good work.

10/11/2025: Lovely place, a little old-fashioned! Incredible food! Definitely worth a try and a return visit! Prices are slightly above average (average second price €25), but the quality justifies the price!

15/02/2026: It's a shame they can't give -5 stars. We had two tables outside, 5 adults and 3 children in total, and the other table had 4 adults and 1 child. When we asked to see the menus outside, we were told they don't serve food outside, because the shade gets in and it gets cold. We both told each table we'd go get our food inside, and that it wouldn't be a problem for the food. IT WAS FINE FOR US AND IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM. Aperitivo outside is fine, but eating in is not. Not even if the customers ASK FOR IT. Terrible.

22/02/2026: We called the restaurant 35 minutes before closing on Valentines day, the friendly staff invited us to join anyway. Beautiful village scenery, well seasoned cuisine, friendly & professional staff. Gorgeous restaurant, great for family, friends, children and romantic couplings. We appreciate good cuisine and thought the food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely recommend Ristorante la Borsarella!

12/02/2026: The restaurant appears elegant and old-fashioned, but the service absolutely does not reflect the type of image the restaurant aims to maintain. Waiters swearing loudly in dialect in the middle of the room, complaining about customers or the work, made our experience uncomfortable and made us feel unwanted. The menu is refined but the dishes are not exciting; overall, an unpleasant experience.

Sandro, fondly remembered by generations of Mondovì residents, gave Il Caimano a soul, leaving an indelible mark on the community. Today, the establishment is managed by Mattia Jimbo Manassero, a reliable and dedicated man, along with two other people: an experienced, friendly, and approachable team, who carry on this legacy with dedication. The brewery maintains its intimate atmosphere, spread across two floors and featuring an outdoor terrace. It is within walking distance and welcomes guests until late at night. Its blue facade makes it easily recognizable in the small square, near the parking lots on Corso Statuto. The venue also stands out for its connection to music: over time, it has hosted live events and befriended many musicians who have become regulars. Inside, you can still admire a rich collection of vinyl records and cassettes, a testament to the passion for rock, blues, and jazz. The venue offers a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for spending evenings with friends. Soft lighting and a relaxed atmosphere invite you to linger and enjoy a good beer, with a selection to suit even the most discerning palates. A space dedicated to musical performances gives the Caimano an extra edge, hosting evenings with local artists and bands. On Christmas Eve, December 24th of each year, it has become a tradition for many Mondovì residents to gather here, confirming the deep bond between the venue and the community. Despite being lively and vibrant, it remains important to visit with respect, restraint, and caution, given the reports of tense incidents. A little personal anecdote: I left my gloves there, but I don't mind; as Freud said, we forget things in places where we feel comfortable. 11/02/2026: We dropped in after a very positive experience by chance a few months ago. We returned, and as soon as we entered, the owner greeted us warmly and with exceptional friendliness. He listened to our requests and immediately set to work preparing our cocktails with great skill! The result? Truly excellent! The appetizers on the accompanying plate were also delicious. Everything was wonderfully accompanied by excellent blues music chosen for us by the owner, which we greatly appreciated. The young staff were friendly and very kind! Thank you. See you soon! I highly recommend it!
