01/05/2025: Lo Sbrano di Mondovì, affectionately nicknamed "Lo Sbranello" by those who often frequent it, is an operational, economical place and much loved especially by young people. The environment is simple, clean and lively, with two internal rooms: a smaller one at the entrance and a larger one at the back. The pizza is tasty and the sandwiches are truly remarkable. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is informal. However, at peak times, the place can be crowded and noisy, with long waits and demanding service. Despite this, it remains a valid choice for a convivial evening without too many pretensions.

27/04/2025: Good food but there is too much confusion, there are too many people waiting for takeaway and honestly there is no air...for table service you have to ask to get the order. Suitable for very young people because there is too much noise and too much movement inside the place. We can do better.

21/05/2025: On Saturday, May 17, we celebrated our son Mattia's First Communion and everything was perfect. Excellent welcome, as well as the service and quality of the food. Super clean and fresh environment. The owners and staff were helpful and friendly, we had a really good time. For us, "La Borsarella" was a pleasant discovery; we booked trusting the many positive reviews and the beauty of the place and the location and I must say that we hit the mark! For those who love elegance and refinement, I highly recommend booking.

02/06/2025: We took two tagliata for €18 which was actually a normal steak cut into slices, nothing like a real tagliata. Then we took a mixed appetizer served in a single dish but the flan tart was only half; but what happened to the other half? Did they sell it to someone else or did someone else only eat half and recycled it? Anyway, it's a shame about the pizza, that was good. Also the waiting times... you can't wait an hour!

The spaces are tidy and clean, with two rooms: one on the ground floor and a charming underground room, perfect for elegant or romantic dinners. The welcome is warm and the staff, especially the waitresses, stand out for their kindness and helpfulness. The food is excellent, the aperitifs well presented and tasty. The background music is pleasant, and the selection of local musical events is interesting. A point of reference in Mondovì for quality, atmosphere and service. Advised.

12/05/2025: 🇬🇧 Delicious ice cream with traditional and fruit flavours. Here you can find REALLY good ice cream with excellent quality ingredients, made with real fruit! They also produce delicious and beautiful ice cream cakes (in the photo the one for Mother's Day 2025). Super recommended!! Congratulations to Enrico and Elena for their friendliness! My absolute favorite ice cream shop! 🇮🇹

25/03/2025: Il rapporto dei prezzi e della quantità dei bicchieri di vino è assurda....1 bicchiere di bianco dal valore di 7 euro a bottiglia,pagato 6 euro a bicchiere con piattino a parte....avendo un locale , secondo me è un po' esagerato....e come dice Cannavacciuolo...ADDIOS

09/05/2025: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED restaurant. Unfortunately my experience was VERY negative. The staff is friendly but something has changed lately. It was the fifth time I went and, the first 3 times I found it good, the penultimate time I found the starters not up to par (a few days old) and, if they were fresh I dare not think and the white wine... better to leave it alone. This last time, thinking that the previous time had been a case in itself, we started with starters that were again not fresh, perhaps due to the fact that two days before it was May 1st and the starters were also dated, bland, without flavour. I had a risotto with artichokes as a first course and my arms dropped.....it looked like boiled rice diluted with broth and little pieces of artichoke that looked like they were in oil and, alas, at a certain point I found a nice artichoke thorn about a centimeter long in my mouth. I got shivers thinking that they could fall into the mouth of one of my two grandchildren, I told the waitress (who couldn't help it) to tell the kitchen to be careful because this should never happen. The second was a roast chicken (two very dry pieces and an inedible piece of neck) with a side of micro fries. The white wine, as usual.....not up to the standard of a restaurant. I didn't have anything else, neither dessert nor coffee, I had lost the desire. I went to pay and, AFTER paying, I pointed out to the owner if the staff had pointed out the issue of the artichoke thorn and she told me no, adding that I was certainly wrong but, I had taken two photographs, one with the thorn in the foreground and the second further away, also framing their "order" at the table. In response I was told that these things happen.....and I underlined that they should NOT happen and, in response, by turning his back on me and leaving, he addressed me by saying "next time don't come again". Yes I left, pointing out to her that even the pseudo risotto was terrible (I do it better, at least I do some sautéing). I underline that I am not a "local guide" who is interested in positive reviews, much less a person who looks for trattorias with lamps with modulating light on the table. I have always frequented trattorias in Piedmont including the historic Piole in Turin, those with an adjoining bowling green and I have always found myself well. The staff also seemed to have changed, still polite but less smiling. Sin. Low price but for what I ate... exaggerated. Ah, I forgot that I had lunch in the part of the restaurant near the windows overlooking the street which have flower pots and the ants were walking peacefully there. I repeat, I went there 5 times, once it can happen, but twice and what's more with the aggravating circumstance of the owner's arrogance in the face of evidence... it was enough for her to say... she's right. To support what is stated, I attach the photos.

06/05/2025: Great last minute lunch with no reservation. Adorable lady able to speak to us a little French… the Ragù pasta was wonderful & tasty; the chocolate pie was not sweet neither too heavy Find it if you visit Mondovi !!!

04/05/2025: Today my husband and I went to this restaurant/pizzeria. We took two pizzas, one deviled and one kids. Excellent with high edges like real Neapolitan pizza. Then we also had desserts, a cannoli with pistachio and a Monte Rosa cheesecake, which I can say were amazing. Quick service. Very nice waiter. The owner was really kind and gave us two lady's kisses. Very courteous and professional cashier. Very honest price. We recommend it to everyone. We will be back. Eli and Dani ❤️
