24/07/2025: Da Tignes alle Langhe , ci siamo fermati casualmente in questo locale che , passando davanti con il nostro camper aveva catturato la nostra attenzione! Da toscani ben abituati alla buona cucina possiamo dire .... Top ! Tutto di ottima qualità, servizio impeccabile, Emiliano un oste a tutto tondo ! Prezzo qualità/ prezzo assolutamente equilibrato. 16/07/2025: Este pequeño restaurante escondido en Rivalta a pocos km de La Morra y Verduno se convierte realmente en un restaurante favorito de la zona. Muy bueno el año pasado y sobresaliente este año. Elegimos el Meny por 45 euros. Empezamos con un triple antipasti con una bacala (a base de bacalao) como la gran sorpresa maravillosa , wow ! También los platos tradicionales como vittello tonnato y carne cruda (battuta dim fassone) eran de la mejor calidad. Las avellanas asadas en la carne cruda realmente hicieron la diferencia. Nuestro primi era un tajarin tradicional con ragu , pero con una presentación elegante poco tradicional y un sabor superior. Nuestro hijo amante de la pasta (22 de edad) estaba seguro de que esta era la mejor pasta que había probado. Secondo era un brassato guancia (mejilla de ternera) cocinado en Barolo. He tenido este curso muchas veces en Piemonte, pero nunca tan tierno como este, no se necesita cuchillo. Compartimos una sinfonía de todos sus postres. Todo encantador, pero su Tiramisu casero destaca como extraordinario. Como verdadero amante del vino también estoy impresionado con su selección de vinos. Quizás no la selección más grande, pero una muy buena selección de la mejor relación calidad-precio vinos y favoritos personales de la zona. Todos los vinos a un precio razonable. Elegimos una maravillosa barbera de la mejor cosecha 2021 , perfectt tempered (de la nevera de vinos) . Gracias al Sr. Emiliano Burlotto y a su talentoso equipo por un almuerzo extraordinario. Espero que volvamos pronto.

07/12/2025: Ca' d'Olga plays an interesting game between Langhe tradition and a desire to be bold. The menu is well thought out: all the great classics are there, reassuring and recognizable, but every now and then a bolder pairing emerges that avoids the "seen a thousand times before" effect. A cuisine that knows where to put its feet, but doesn't nail them to the floor. Among the most successful dishes are the macarons del frèt, centered and well-balanced, and a remarkable veal cheek, tender as promised and consistent down to the last bite. Raw ingredients are treated with respect, cooked precisely, and no unnecessary virtuosity. The wine list is discreet and consistent with the region, without encyclopedic pretensions. A downside: the selection by the glass, especially for dessert wines, is rather limited. A shame, because it somewhat breaks the finale. The service is informal but efficient: quick, courteous, without the rigidity of a restaurant that "takes itself too seriously." They make you feel at ease, and that's saying something. The location is isolated, off the beaten track, but it makes up for it with a spectacular view of the Langhe, almost like an agricultural Las Vegas: hills instead of neon lights, definitely better that way. Fair price, no surprises or scams disguised as creativity. In short: a solid, well-balanced place, where tradition and curiosity coexist without stepping on each other's toes. Worth the detour.

06/12/2025: The restaurant doesn't have private parking, but you can find space in a lot across the street and is located in a hamlet outside the town of La Morra. I can't comment on the wine list as I didn't choose the bottle myself. The menu is well-stocked with typical local dishes and offers six different appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The desserts are a bit more extensive, always accompanied by a glass of Moscato d'Asti. In my case, I opted for a meat salad appetizer with porcini mushrooms in oil. It was a good portion, with very tender and flavorful minced meat. Salt, pepper, and oil were also brought along for a truly satisfying dressing. The extra virgin olive oil, in particular, had an excellent flavor, not at all overpowering, even though I added some to the dish. The first course was a trio of potato gnocchi filled with fondue and sprinkled with black truffle. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my personal taste. I couldn't taste the truffle, and the same goes for the fondue filling, which I found to be too light compared to the gnocchi dough, making the latter, for my taste, too heavy, and weighing down the dish. A delicious treat are the small pastries, biscuits, cake, baci, hazelnuts, nougat, and mandarins, unfortunately cold from the refrigerator, which are served with the coffee. The presentation of the dishes, in detail, could be a little more thoughtful. The staff was always present in the dining room and very courteous to meet my every need. The €3 cover charge is more than compensated by the various types of homemade bread, which are replenished as soon as they run out, and by the change of cutlery between courses, a nice touch. The price of the meal is in line with the type of cuisine and the attention to detail.

04/12/2025: I visited for lunch with a local sommelier. It's located on a hill in the village of La Morra, surrounded by vineyards, and is full as soon as it opens, so I'm sure it's a popular restaurant. The wine, appetizers, pasta, carne cruda, and bittero tonnato were all delicious. The service at the restaurant was great.

12/11/2025: I don't usually leave negative reviews, and I won't this time either. But I was disappointed to be turned down after booking a week in advance and coming from Lecce. I'm still leaving 5 stars because I don't want a staff member's mistake to damage the restaurant's rating. But be more careful next time. Not everyone is as understanding as I am.

11/11/2025: Restaurant aimed at foreigners Staff barely speak Italian (it's clear they're targeting Dutch, German, etc.) A minimum order of two courses is required for each guest... AVOID ABSOLUTELY

13/10/2025: The food was excellent; we had eight courses, and the portions were perfect. The service was exceptional, and the process was perfectly planned. The open kitchen was impressive; it was like a show. Accordingly, the price was ultimately quite high.

20/07/2025: Highly recommended! We had lunch today, the place had an enchanting view! The dishes were very, very good, exquisite! I recommend the sweetbreads, they're crispy and melt in your mouth. Compliments to everyone. The Gallicchio family.

11/11/2025: A small but charming location, we had lunch, sampling appetizers such as Russian salad, veal with tuna sauce, and delicious tartare. The first courses, the famous tajarin with local truffle and meat ragù, were also appreciated. I had ravioli with butter and sage, which I liked in flavor. The only negative was that they practically tasted like they were in broth, not with butter and sage. Perhaps they made a mistake when draining them... The wine, too: we had two different Barolos, both good quality. A spider also found its way into my daughter's glass. I would have expected at least a discount given the price of the bottle, since the glass was changed for us, but the wine was obviously thrown away. It certainly wasn't possible for the spider to be in the bottle, but it was probably in the display case in the dining room, where all the glasses used for customers were kept. These are definitely inconveniences, but a little more thoughtfulness towards customers, perhaps by offering them the glass of wine that was thrown away, would have been appreciated. However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't eat here again; the food was good and the staff was very kind and attentive.

05/08/2025: Nei nostri frequenti viaggi in Piemonte é una tappa obbligatoria. Anche quanto é affollato si é sempre ben accolti e serviti. Assolutamente da provare la battuta di fassona al coltello e i tagliolini al ragu di salsiccia. Ottimi i vini proposti anche come degustazione. Prezzi più che onesti. Complimenti.

28/07/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante (che è anche wine bar e residence) che era già tardi ma siamo state fortunate e c’era un tavolo libero per mangiare. La sistemazione nella corte centrale del palazzo è stata sicuramente suggestiva fin dall’inizio e il servizio si è distinto per la professionalità e cortesia. Io sono intollerante al siero di latte e la mia amica è celiaca e il personale ha saputo venire incontro alle nostre esigenze garantendoci un pranzo ricco oltre che tranquillo. Consigliato.
