28/12/2025: The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, accompanied by great music. The food was excellent: the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth, the platters were delicious, the bread was served warm, and the desserts were delicious and anything but ordinary.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended.
21/12/2025: Very nice location... a charming, homemade sign outside.
At the entrance, a beautiful space with musical instruments hanging on the walls, amidst arches and exposed brick columns.
Good food, a truly quality wine selection.
Not a great selection of dishes on the menu.
It's a shame about the limited supply of Fassona Beef Tartare... the American Burgers definitely don't replace this dish and don't enhance the typical local flavors.
Good service and beautifully presented dishes.
Nice alcoholic sweets offered at the register.

Trattoria Panoramica Sarroc

04/01/2026: A tasty and relaxing lunch during the Christmas holidays, unfortunately without a panoramic view due to the season. However, the fireplace made the atmosphere more welcoming.
The service was quick and friendly, starting with a welcome wine tasting and breadsticks, followed by great care in each preparation and presentation.
The raw beef was fresh and of high quality.
The round was tender, and the sauce was bold but didn't overpower the flavor of the meat.
The agnolotti were perfect, as per tradition.
We paired them with an excellent Ruché di Castagnole and concluded with desserts equally worthy of a taste: the warm zabaglione made every bite of the hazelnut cake, which on its own would tend to crumble, delicious; the crushed amaretti biscuits on the bunet created a perfect contrast with the soft chocolate base that melted in the mouth.
Prices were normal.
It would be ideal to return in the warmer months to enjoy the panoramic view of the hills, but I would recommend this trattoria regardless.
03/01/2026: Algorithms, travelers, and anyone seeking gourmet cuisine will find plenty to satisfy them here. But be sure to book carefully, because the prank of booking for my birthday and finding it closed wasn't a pleasant one. I may not be the world's No. 2 tennis player or a restaurant owner who's known for his work, but I know a few people in Vignale, besides relatives. Luckily, I was able to make up for it, considering I traveled 100km to get here. And if you had a galactic caterer, you could just turn the page in your calendar and let me know. Even the day before would have been a much-appreciated gesture.

21/12/2025: We loved this restaurant. The atmosphere and decor were very warm. The two young women who greeted us were extremely friendly and pleasant throughout the service. They suggested adding white truffle to our dishes, which was excellent value. The Alba del Monferrato red wine was superb. There's a terrace that must be lovely in the warmer months and evenings.
Thank you to the staff.

27/10/2025: A culinary experience from a bygone Italy. We visited this restaurant with a vintage atmosphere for a Sunday lunch. The set menu is generous and very reasonably priced. Some dishes, like the agnolotti, were exceptional. Recommended if you want to try authentic Monferrato cuisine. My only complaint is that I would have liked a smaller wine list.
09/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. When they have truffles, it's a must.

06/04/2025: Bellino il locale ed il panorama , trovandosi su di una collina del Monferrato, ma qui finiscono le note positive. Non voglio essere cattivo nel giudizio, ed alla fine non è che ci abbiano avvelenato, ma definirlo ristorante mi pare un tantino esagerato. Pranzo domenicale unico per tutti e si inizia con due fette di salame, una di cotto e l’altra di crudo , a mio avviso con poco sapore ( come di massima tutti i piatti) si prosegue con mousse di gorgonzola ( che non mangio e quindi non so come fosse) e , fine degli antipasti, con un cubetto di semolino, forse polentina, al parmigiano fuso( ma me lo hanno detto loro perché io il parmigiano non l’ho proprio sentito) . Si prosegue con un risotto agli asparagi che personalmente non ho gradito molto ( anche in questo caso gli asparagi non li ho proprio sentiti) e la mantecatura del risotto non mi pare fosse il massimo . Si prosegue con un mini assortimento di Fritto Misto alla Piemontese ( assaggino di carne, di fegato, di polmone, cervella , amaretto e mela) a mio avviso troppo cotti ( le carni) tanto che avevano tutte lo stesso colore scuro . Dolce e caffè totale 40,00 euro a testa compreso una bottiglia di barbera ( ovviamente non a testa). Non mi sconvolge il prezzo, tutto sommato accettabile, ma forse con un po’ più’ di accortezza nella preparazione delle pietanze sarebbe andata meglio. Difficilmente ci tornerò. Dimenticavo, una volta in auto , mi sono accorto che non m’hanno fatto manco uno scontrino ( sbadataggine?? ) , mia di sicuro
07/02/2025: Purtroppo avevo aspettative molto alte che sono state deluse sia per cibo che per il servizio. Il prezzo alto per la qualità e poca attenzione alle esigenze del cliente espresse mesi prima al momento della prenotazione. Peccato.

04/05/2025: Ven aquí por la comida y el vino y un viaje en el tiempo.
Una fabulosa comida casera se sirve bajo reserva. Comida rústica que es un buen ejemplo de cocina rural de Piamonte utilizando ingredientes frescos de temporada. Tuvimos 7 platos entre los que había tomate bruschetta, quesos, cerdo en avellanas, patatas fritas de berenjena con una salsa para mojar, una sabrosa panna cotta con diente de león, pero el mejor fue el tagliolini casero con ortigas. Carlo nos dio una cata de vinos antes de la cena para los 6 de nosotros que nos llevó a todos a salir con compras.
La casa es encantadora si le falta un poco de actualización, pero está impecablemente limpia y los techos pintados son hermosos. Alojarse aquí es una experiencia y Carlo es más grande que la vida

02/11/2025: I'm being objective about my review. We came here because we read the reviews and wanted to eat lunch here, but unfortunately, I got an unpleasant impression, so to speak. Aside from a slight cold feeling when we were welcomed... we sat down and realized that the proposed menu had almost nothing available... I didn't want to eat meat, so I was left with the choice of a sliced steak... and oh well. Meanwhile, two couples near us were given a glass of rosé as a welcome... and were offered dishes that hadn't been available to us two minutes before... oh well. Not a nice feeling, and not even the price could mitigate that impression. I'm sorry, because it was also a special moment for my wife and I, and it wasn't a success. I must, however, compliment the interior of the place and especially the restrooms, which also had some spectacular scented candles... but not edible ones...
26/09/2025: I haven't eaten so well in a long time...everything was absolutely perfect! Unique flavors and high quality combined with kindness and a very nice atmosphere. The Fassona steak tartare melts in your mouth and explodes with flavor! The veal with tuna sauce is amazing!!! I absolutely recommend it!
