Ristorante Universo In Vignale monferrato

Since it was December 26th, many shops were closed, so after wandering around the village we came across this place. The environment is very elegant, the service is precise and the dishes served were of high quality. Since everything is expensive, unfortunately you get used to it.

Cena tra 8 persone. Ambiente retrò, classico ed elegante, tovaglia e tovaglioli in stoffa, posate e giusti calici per acqua e diversi tipi di vino bevuti. Inizio giro antipasti con classici salumi con l'unica pecca, perdonabile, del classico salame crudo piemontese come sempre non confrontabile con il vicino salame di Varzi, si prosegue con ottima carne cruda ed altrettanto buono cardo in fonduta ed un ottimo vitello tonnato. Come primi un delicato risolto e dei meravigliosi agnolotti. Secondi arrosto, coniglio e agnello perfetti. I dolci i classici torta alla nocciola e meringa con panna. Vini del territorio e amara a conclusione. Ultimo, ma non meno importante, il prezzo 40 euri per un ottima cena servita da camerieri professionali ed eleganti. Una cena all'insegna della tradizione culinaria piemontese con un attenzione al prezzo.

Absolute insider tip. Rarely have I been able to enjoy such an excellent menu in such a stylish and almost familiar atmosphere. The wine pairing recommended by the house was also excellent. I'll definitely come back here.

Excellent restaurant... typical Piedmontese dishes not contaminated by the usual pyrotechnic effects that confuse the palate. Compliments!!
