10/11/2024: We booked a visit to the cellar, a tasting and dinner at the property's restaurant "La Rana Bollita" in this facility. Marco organized a truly beautiful visit to the cellar for us, starting from the vineyards, arriving at the final product, explaining all the processes to us in an engaging way and transmitting to us all his passion for his work. Again with Marco we had a very special tasting of their wines. We have done others, but we had never been taught how to evaluate a wine, from A to Z. More than a tasting, we took a mini course as wine tasters (for the price of a tasting).. During dinner what we What I appreciated most was the attention to detail, from the dish, to the service. The passion for their work, attention and care for the customer can be perceived very well. What more can I say...Tenuta Montebello is a place worth visiting. Congratulations to Marco and Davide and to all the staff!!
24/08/2024: Cascina nella campagna di Rocca Grimalda, adibita a ristorante, agriturismo e enoteca. Siamo stati qui a pranzo e ci siamo trovati bene. Il posto è molto tranquillo e accogliente. Il cibo molto buono, il servizio adeguato.

23/01/2025: Excellent food, fabulous pizzas and the hamburger cooked in the Josper oven is truly extraordinary. The Sicilian cannoli is too good. Commendable quality of food and service.
The lady is nice, kind and very hospitable. I recommend it very much.

02/02/2025: I was in this restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening: it was set with a "sea" theme.
Menus based almost entirely on fish, I dare say the best in the area.
It's a shame about the road to take to reach it which has some very narrow points for those like me who are not used to country roads.
€43 tasting menu with 3 starters, a first course, a second course, sweet wine, sorbet and drinks… chapeau

26/01/2025: Come credo sia giusto, parto dai lati positivi: posizione proprio accanto alla Rocca e servizio garbato. Non sono rimasta entusiasta della cucina: sapori "etnicheggianti", e l'impronta piemontese e suoi sapori li ho sentiti poco; la tartare era condita con ingredienti ben distanti dalla tradizione locale; il brasato l'ho trovato non ben cucinato, il vino nella salsa rilasciava ancora alcolicità ed era molto acido. La polenta era del tipo "a fette", quindi non assorbiva l'intingolo della carne ed il piatto è risultato "stile mensa", presentato anche senza alcuna appetibilità. Peccato perché le materie prime erano di qualità. Tutto questo è una mia opinione del tutto personale, ma mi auguro possa stimolare a rivedere alcune cose, sotto alla Rocca in una posizione così ci dovrebbe essere il Piemonte puro

Signora molto gentile e preparata.
Menù semplice , porzioni adeguate.
