23/11/2025: Quick stop on a long drive and we were welcomed by a full, calm, trattoria with great food and kind service with a very quick turnaround to get us back on the road. Soup, meat, pasta, and dessert a were equally delicious. Fully recommend

The owner (I think!) was super kind and courteous, and she was very attentive in her service.
I had an amazing gelato!
I'm not comfortable stopping by (being from Milan), but next time I'm in the area I'll definitely come back.

I suggest they adjust the opening hours, because the sign says 10:30, but it's usually closed before 11:30.
More importantly, if you're visiting from out of town and look up the hours on Google, you might find the place closed. That said, I reiterate that the farinata is fabulous.

23/11/2025: New, young, and lively management. This historic Ovada restaurant maintains its identity, attracting both old and new generations. Excellent sandwiches and appetizers. Reasonable prices and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
23/11/2025: Not just beer, but also excellent aperitifs! Excellent food, excellent service, and a typical English pub atmosphere. Highly recommended!

30/11/2025: I had lunch today 11/30/2025 with two other people, we came in at 12 and left at 2pm, the service was slow, especially the second course which was divided into three, first they said there was a delay, then when we decided to remove the order they came back saying it was ready in two minutes, they never brought it again
20/11/2025: We had lunch there a few weeks ago. Excellent restaurant, the mixed fried fish was excellent. The staff was very friendly, the waitress who served us had a beautiful voice and beautiful eyes.

22/11/2025: Eating pizza at Big Ben is a moment of pure happiness. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the pizza is the best in all of Piedmont. The place is rustic and homey, perfect for when you want to feel good. Long live Big Ben!
