08/03/2024: Il ristorante e pizzeria Olivo ha una vista privilegiata sulla splendida Arena e dispone di un'ampia sala interna e di numerosi posti all'esterno. Il menù è molto ricco, quello delle pizze propone non solo l'impasto tradizionale, ma anche quello al farro. Inoltre, cosa mai vista da parte mia, sono suggeriti abbinamenti tra pizza e vino, una idea originale! Io scelgo una siciliana con mozzarella di bufala e melanzane fritte, mentre la mia fidanzata opta per una con burrata e prosciutto crudo di Montagnana DOP. Entrambe le pizze sono cotte molto bene, la crosta è abbastanza spessa e soffice e gli ingredienti utilizzati sono di qualità. Ottimo il prosciutto, l'abbinamento con la burrata è azzeccato. Le melanzane danno quel tocco di sapidità in più in bocca e, a nostro parere, rendono questa pizza la migliore delle due. Voglio sottolineare che la qualità degli ingredienti si vede anche dopo il pasto, quando si digerisce: nessuno di noi due si è svegliato durante la notte con molta sete o con gonfiori addominali, questo è sempre un ottimo segnale. Per quanto riguarda i prezzi, certamente il fatto di poter pranzare o cenare in un luogo privilegiato come Piazza Bra ha un costo superiore a quello di altri locali: mediamente le pizze proposte da Olivo si attestano sui 10-11 euro. Le nostre sono costate 12 e 12,50, in ogni caso ben spesi, a nostro avviso. Assolutamente consigliato se volete mangiare una buonissima pizza senza spostarvi dal centro storico.

02/04/2024: Pizza rubbery and too high. Ingredients not of high quality. I asked for a ginseng coffee, a fruit juice, a sorbet and nothing. I didn't understand if they were finished or not kept. I definitely won't go back

19/03/2024: Let me start by saying that I had good memories of the place. Today unfortunately I changed my mind, my mother and I went for lunch, as soon as we sat down we asked for a Campari SODA for 2 with prosecco, only one arrived and among other things it was clearly a bitter with prosecco, after having pointed out that it wasn't whatever we had ordered, the glass was taken away and then two identical ones were brought back (too strong for a pre-lunch aperitif). No bread or breadsticks are given unless requested. Ordered 2 ABUNDANT spaghetti allo scoglio after 15min they were brought to the table and unfortunately the pasta (clearly pre-cooked) was overcooked and the sauce was also nothing special as I remembered and among other things the portion was anything but abundant. Still feeling hungry we decide to order a pizza, after 10 minutes of waiting and in the meantime we also smoked a cigarette as we were on our lunch break we didn't have time left. When we decided to point out that we wanted to leave due to time constraints, a waitress came alongside us telling us that we had only been waiting 7 minutes, we pointed out that the order had not been taken when we placed the order at the table and tried to to make him understand that the 7 minutes indicated in the order were not actually the expected times, we went to the cashier for the bill. Unfortunately, only the memory of dear Mr. Andrea remains. However, I want to start by saying that not too long ago we went to eat in the other restaurant (the blue cave 2) at Giacomo's, and there, unlike today, we ate very well and the service was really quick and excellent!

07/04/2024: I went out to eat one evening with a work colleague! Truly everything was superlative and delicious! Really kind and quick waiters! We ate really well! The only flaw, which does not reach the 5 stars, are the toilets which are very dated, with a toilet (no comment!) and a malfunctioning soap dispenser!

01/04/2024: The dishes are very good, it's a shame about the slowness due, I think, to the lack of staff, and a shame about the ATM not working at the cash register🙈

27/11/2023: Sono stata in questo locale per un ottimo caffe dopo cena... ,un applauso al titolare nicola che è simpaticissimo, disponibile, sa farti sorridere, è cosi che si fa dovrebbero essere tutti cosi bravo nicola.. Di sicuro tornero per un aperitivo

Edible, but not for 17 euros. The pasta with seafood was more or less tasty, but I’m probably not a big connoisseur of al dente pasta We also asked for children's pasta with cheese, they brought us dumplings, more or less, but also not fire. The total cost was 60 euros with Aperol, but the evening was ruined

02/04/2024: Quite a nice restaurant. The pizza was simple and tasty. We were shocked by the price when paying: item 2.5€ per person for being under the roof 😕😕😕. There were 2 of us, so we paid €5 for nothing. I'm in a restaurant and I pay for being in a restaurant 😕👎. I don't know if they only charge foreigners or domestics as well. But we don't like this kind of behavior. And it's sad that he asks for money unnecessarily 💸.

13/03/2024: ho seguito il consiglio di alcuni amici veronesi e sono andato finalmente al Metano da Anna, location bella , intima con musica sottofondo, servizio molto curato , la ragazza molto molto disponibile e gentile, antipasto da anna x due persone bello abbondante e pesce fresco , frittura buona , branzino idem , dolce ottimo, spesa nella norma ... ritornerò magari stagione calda per mangiare all'aperto
