22/01/2026: The waitress, Gaia, deserves a 5-star rating, not just for me but also when watching other tables. She's always smiling and very friendly. The owner is sullen, unsmiling, and unpleasant. Compared to the previous management (Alle Mura), we haven't reached the quality we were used to at this establishment. It's a shame, because the waitress, Gaia, deserves it for her service and friendliness.

10/01/2026: Overall, the food was good, but nothing special. I came here after hearing so much good stuff, and... I don't know what people are used to. The waiters were kind but inexperienced and definitely not well-trained. The place was very dirty, considering we had lunch at 12:30 (tablecloth, cutlery, dust everywhere, and not even the floor). The owner (I think) was kind but certainly not dressed appropriately to serve tables or introduce himself to customers. At least, I've never seen a professional walking around with their shirt untucked, their back hanging out, and their uniforms not very clean, plus socks with holes in them. I was shocked by the situation, even though there was no lack of kindness. It's a shame because the place would have great potential if managed well.

22/10/2025: I was there with my family a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised by the warm yet professional welcome. The atmosphere was comfortable and spotlessly clean! We wanted to try some gourmet pizzas... they were simply fantastic, not to mention the dough: light, crispy, and leavened for over 80 hours, making the pizzas unique. The ingredients are carefully selected and top-quality. However, seeing the amazing and inviting pasta dishes coming out of the kitchen, I'll be curious to try them next time! Finally, the place also has a kids' area! What can I say... Pizzeria da Max HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you're not looking for the usual restaurant but are looking for good cuisine with true and authentic flavors! 🔝😋👍

02/09/2025: Never again. Spaghetti with scampi, but only one scampi, the rest were shrimp. Spaghetti with lobster, the sauce was sweet, but the surprise was when I turned the lobster over to eat it, it was completely clean, not a trace of the flesh. When that happens, don't bring cutlery to clean the shell; it seems like a joke.

12/03/2026: After a bumpy start due to the language barrier, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The food and wine were excellent. The octopus was the best I've ever eaten. It wasn't cheap, but worth every penny. Definitely worth a visit.

17/02/2026: I ate pretty well at this place. The only disappointment was that there wasn't much choice. They only do fish, which we chose on purpose, but unfortunately, there wasn't much variety. Then it was a disappointment. When we arrived, they told us they didn't have fried fish, especially since they only serve fish, and we went there to eat a bit of everything. After a while, they came to tell us they only had calamari and they could do that. We immediately said yes because we'd been wanting to eat fried fish since morning, but in the end, I don't know how the whole thing arrived. So, my question was, did I go fishing now? 😅 Anyway, it's fine; the food was good and fresh.

22/12/2025: I'll start by saying I've ALWAYS had a good experience and have always told my friends it was a great experience. Unfortunately, yesterday wasn't the case: it was all because of the waiter who served us, who was unprofessional in his manners. For example, he walked past me with his arm around me to serve and I almost wiped my mouth on his black shirt. The wait was biblical. We arrived at 12:30 and finished at 2:45 (we had an appetizer, first course, and coffee). He served me pumpkin pie and I almost found it in my lap. He was spiteful and disrespectful. I told the owners and they apologized: out of respect for you, I recommend you "get rid of him," he's damaging your business. We were there on Sunday the 21st at table 5, so you know who I'm talking about. Best regards.

03/03/2026: I'll start by saying that this review is limited to the bar: the service was slow and, to say the least, inattentive, truly inadequate. Despite the pleasant atmosphere, I won't be returning.

02/03/2026: Tried it for a quick lunch, the food was very good. Fast and friendly service, fair prices. The atmosphere is rustic, just as you'd expect from the name, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I had a great time and will definitely be back.

31/01/2026: An excellent seafood lunch with traditional dishes. An extra star for the spaghetti al nero. A selection of homemade desserts. Friendly and attentive service.

08/11/2025: I was at this bar on a Saturday morning. By 11, the croissants were sold out, and I was offered a shortcrust pastry that had seen better days. We ordered a tramezzino: a radicchio leaf between two slices of (terrible) sandwich bread. The coffee was average.

23/08/2025: I went on Monday, August 18th, so it wasn't a great evening given the time of year. They obviously didn't have lobster or eel, which is a good sign (meaning) they work with fresh fish, but otherwise, it wasn't the best. A very positive aspect is the à la carte service, rather than the all-you-can-eat option. I'll be back to try the lobster (made to order).

24/07/2025: Trovare per caso, girando in moto con gli amici, un posto del genere per mangiare é stata davvero una fortuna inaspettata! Una scelta di crudo da fare invidia ai migliori ristoranti lungo tutte le coste italiane. La fantasia e l ospitalitá dello chef ha fatto davvero la differenza. Spero davvero di tornarci presto!

01/06/2025: Complimenti! Sono stato ad un evento con cena a base di pesce. Antipasti di crudo eccellenti e abbondanti, così come il resto della cena. Per chi ama mangiare e bere bene è il posto ideale. Ivano il proprietario è una persona solare e molto capace. Bravo. Ristorante super consigliato.
