17/01/2025: This rating is an average of two experiences made by Da Picchio.
The first time was very positive, especially for the kindness and helpfulness of the staff who, even though it was a packed evening close to the Christmas holidays, worked hard to find a table for me and the two people with me. What we ate was appreciated although not memorable. Environment consistent with the term tavern but not particularly well looked after.
When I returned a second time alone I did not find the same kindness and helpfulness.
I was very sorry, but I can understand that not every day is the same.

14/02/2025: The bar staff are very friendly which leaves a great first impression. The food is not only delicious, but also fairly priced, making it an ideal place for a relaxed breakfast. There is a huge selection of croissants, especially for early risers, so there is really something for every taste.
Another highlight is the cappuccino – the best you’ve ever had! 😊 Whether for a quick start to the day or a leisurely breakfast with a cup of coffee, this bar is definitely a recommended choice.

27/10/2024: The price is not related to the dishes: I thought I would eat better looking at the photos, however there is always a nice presentation of the dish. Friendly and patient staff. Nice place, it's a shame to find or see products under the benches that should be in stock and the environment needs to be renovated a bit. I would change the type of bread to be served at the tables. Congratulations for the speed in serving dishes at the table 👍

21/01/2025: The environment is very pleasant and discreet with the tables at the right distance from each other.
Courteous and quick service.
We ate ravioli filled with sea bream, spaghetti with squid ink, fish risotto and seafood pasta, all pleasantly plated, adequate portions. The desserts are also remarkable.
19/01/2025: We have been regulars for years, appreciate the antipasto di mare above all else, the tiramisu is unforgettable, the pizza is usually excellent. We also really like the Prosecco. As locals, we feel particularly comfortable in this restaurant.

26/01/2025: I had a pizza diavola, it was truly catastrophic. It was small without even tomato and even without a hint of mozzarella, a very disproportionate price. Better pizza than any kebab shop, never again!

15/01/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant. We waited quite a long time for the dishes to be brought, the wine was good, the pasta and vegetables with cheese were also good, but the pasta with seafood was too salty. There is parking in front of the restaurant, which is very convenient.

02/02/2024: Siamo capitati per puro caso in questa osteria a pranzo.Location semplice, personale molto gentile, poca scelta sia dei primi che di secondi ( una cosa che apprezzo molto) vuol dire che viene preparato tutto fresco. La pasta era molto buona, un po' meno sale sarebbe stato meglio. "Il cuoco per caso è molto innamorato"?😄 cmq consigliato!
05/01/2024: Locale consigliatissimo. Siamo tornati due volte in pochi giorni. Si mangia davvero bene e a prezzi proporzionati alla qualità dei prodotti scelti. Particolare menzione alla carne, perchè è uno dei pochi ristoranti dove si mangia una Rib Eye cucinata perfettamente che si scioglie in bocca. Tutto lo staff è gentilissimo e professionale. Grazie allo chef che è venuto a salutarci prima di ripartire.

31/05/2024: Ottimo ristorante. Ho mangiato gli spaghetti allo scoglio, veramente buoni con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale.
Inoltre è prevista la possibilità di consegna a domicilio.
17/05/2024: Cameriere molto impreparato per celiaci dicono che c'è da mangiare e poi dopo 40 minuti non ti portano niente e ti dicono che non c'è per celiaci😅 qualità prezzo pessima

06/01/2025: What a shame it is closed due to partial destruction caused by the landslide! We stayed there in 2012 and 2014. They were both excellent experiences! Stupendous views, great rooms, delicious food and a warm welcome. Two Brazilian tourists following the Via Claudia Augusta on their bikes! No one should complain that the climb is steep! It was a great experience to arrive at the reception by bike! This year, to repeat the feat, the sad news! Closed! Thank goodness no one was hurt! We will stay somewhere else, but we will miss it!
