02/04/2024: Very tasty food, you can try delicious Sicilian dishes and, traditionally, pizza. The seafood is amazing. Nice and helpful staff. An additional advantage is that the restaurant is run by a Polish woman who treats her compatriots with great sympathy and is very communicative. Online menu available in Polish. The place is open during siesta. I recommend!

06/04/2024: Very nicely decorated restaurant with delicious dishes. Very nice and attentive service. A specialty of the house is the tagliatelle “Vedova Allegra” which tastes excellent - definitely try it!

05/04/2024: A place that may seem touristy because it is on the pedestrian street. This is not the case and I highly recommend you go. The server was absolutely perfect (advice, smile, helpful)

21/12/2023: The place was almost empty when we were there for two days. Sanitary building is fine, water is hot. The operator is friendly. Beautiful location, with direct access to the sea. Restaurants in town are better than at the stand.

24/10/2023: Si vous cherchez où manger à Scopello, je recommande sans hésiter la Tavernetta. La terrasse possède une magnifique vue, la nourriture est excellente, une des meilleures que nous avons eue en Sicile. De plus, le service est rapide, avenant et chaleureux. Un sans faute, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

20/09/2023: Voglio segnalare questo locale per un episodio che poi mi ha fatto riflettere. A volte capita che ristoratori o anche lo stesso personale ti indichino delle chiavi di lettura nelle tue scelte, e - ahimè - giudizi, nel campo culinario. Nella fattispecie sono stato, in un modo assolutamente garbato, messo di fronte alla mia pedanteria sul confezionamento dei cibi. Ero lì per gustare il "pane cunzato" e chiedevo perché al posto del caciocavallo usassero il primo sale. Per tutta risposta mi è stato fatto osservare che "cunzato" vuol dire condito, termine assolutamente generico aperto a svariate soluzioni, fermo restando che alcuni ingredienti base vanno assicurati (acciughe, pomodoro, olio e origano). Orbene il mio interlocutore aveva pienamente ragione e anche quando talune soluzioni uscissero fuori da ciò che tu ritieni essere la cucina tradizionale, ma chi se ne frega, visto che quello che ho mangiato era assai gradevole.

16/10/2023: Ottima la disponibilità, la cura dei particolari e cosa più importante l'ospitalità. Il cibo passerebbe quasi in secondo piano se non fosse cucinato, servito e raccontato con passione e capacità. Quindi ottima scelta. Da provare assolutamente.

LA DARSENA

17/03/2024: Io davvero non capisco come un posto del genere possa rimanere aperto nel 2024. Cominciamo dalla fine: "purtroppo internet non funziona, pagamento contanti...".
Siamo in una terrazza sul mare, ma tutto ciò che ci arriva è palesemente scongelato o scaldato. Cozze, risotto, gamberi. Nessun menù scritto. E in più, due di noi erano celiaci (avevamo chiesto se avessero pasta senza glutine) e abbiamo trovato una busiata (tipica pasta trapanese) nei nostri piatti. Insomma, 4 primi, 2 antipasti, una bottiglia d'acqua e 2 calici di vino, per la simpatica cifra di €140.
Non ci siamo fatti rovinare la giornata da loro, ma se lo avessimo saputo (come chi sta leggendo) ce ne saremmo tenuti lontani.
17/03/2024: We went for Sunday lunch on March 17th with friends. When booking we ask if they also have gluten free menus, given that some friends are celiac, they answer in the affirmative. When we arrive the place is half empty, the environment is not particularly well looked after and not very intimate. Nothing that enhances the beauty of the place, considering that we are right on the beach.
We are not provided with any paper or digital menu. The presentation of the dishes is oral and by the waiter. It is therefore not possible to evaluate the ingredients and cost of the dishes.
We take a mussel pepper and a prawn cocktail as an appetizer and a first course each.
The mussels are reheated and not fresh, the sauce is very salty, the bread is not fresh.
In the first courses we note that the gluten-free pasta was probably cooked in the same water as normal pasta, as was the seafood risotto: in fact, on the plate we also find normal busiate, which evidently ended up there by chance. The rice was of poor quality and the grains were mixed up, the pasta with mussels was overcooked, the raw materials were of poor quality and the mussels were once again cold and reheated separately.
A bottle of water and two glasses of wine for a total of €35 per person without receipt and in cash because the POS has no line.
Never to go back again.
