07/09/2025: Fabulous! It was a wonderful discovery in 2022 while driving around Puglia with friends, and after taking a wrong turn and getting lost among the olive trees and identical roads, we ended up in Torchiarolo. We entered Mr. Claudio and Mrs. Giovanna's restaurant and immediately knew it would be an unforgettable experience. Yesterday, returning to Trieste, we made a detour to return to the place we remembered. The food is always excellent, fresh fish cooked to perfection, and the welcome was unique. Catering done seriously and with professionalism is something few can match. Make sure to book, though. Mr. Claudio, a true professional, dedicates himself and his entire energy to his customers, refusing to fill the room to ensure perfection. Thank you Claudio and Giovanna! In Trieste, there's a little piece of you with us, once again!!

21/07/2025: Il Fagiano remains one of the few beautiful, classy places, with consistently refined yet unfussy cuisine. Ideal whether you want to enjoy an excellent lunch/dinner or plan a reception, its legendary dishes haven't changed much over time; they've evolved and improved, but they're still a guarantee of excellence! My only regret is the retirement of their legendary pastry chef! (Not that the desserts aren't delicious anymore, but...the legendary Angelo....) I recommend everyone to experience Il Fagiano; you'll tell me more later.

21/06/2025: Il Fagiano was our caterer at the wedding at Masseria Don Luigi on June 9th, I couldn't ask for anything better, from the service to the food and the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. All the guests were satisfied and complimented on my choice. A special thanks to the restaurant for the excellent success of the wedding, also thanks to them. A guarantee!

06/09/2025: Lovely local fish restaurant in Savelletri. Large portions so good for sharing. We had a salt crust roasted sea bass from the counter which was perfectly cooked & delicious. Plus a stunning bottle of local salice salentino wine, recommended by our waiter. Great service, great atmosphere, we would highly recommend this brilliant local restaurant.

06/09/2025: As long as you have a reservation, you are one step away from having a great experience. Delicious food, fairly fast service and kindness from the staff. On the first evening we also had a fish soup on our order, which was miscalculated, but they called us to come back to refund the difference and offered us a reservation for another evening.

14/09/2025: Going to Siamo Fritti means eating quality seafood and feeling right at home. Every dish is excellent, and the attentive service from the staff, especially Katia, makes everything even more special. The Sea Bream in Salt is exquisite, and, for a celiac like me, you can order everything from the Frittura to the excellent Spaghetti Cozze e Vongole, not to mention the delicious Caprese dessert. You'll just have to wait a bit to ensure your dishes are prepared without any risk of cross-contamination. I recommend it to anyone who loves eating good seafood and feeling pampered by fantastic staff.

30/08/2025: I celebrated my 40th birthday and made a great impression. Excellent value for money and super-excellent service. A 5-star restaurant in Brindisi that knows how to serve food. Congratulations.

15/09/2025: Six of us went there for dinner on Friday evening. We were a little early, and the restaurant wasn't actually open yet. The chef said we could have a drink, but it would be a while before the kitchen opened. So we waited until the kitchen opened, and in the meantime, we were well looked after, with bread, ricotta, cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden, and baked potato balls – waiting makes waiting fun 😊 The antipasti was fabulous, all of very high quality and a treat for the palate 👌🏻 For the main course, we ordered the fresh orecchiette, which were made on-site by the chef's mother – it was simply delicious 😋 The restaurant was very busy, but the service was under control. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Puglia 🫶🏼

22/08/2025: A lovely, quiet, and clean place. The staff is friendly, and the owner, Maddalena, is the perfect hostess. The bread and mussel meatballs with pecorino fondue are a must-try. Recommended for a relaxing, family-friendly evening.

At all the places in Cisternino, the food tasted like sadness on a plate, the service moved slower than a broken clock, and the decor looked like it was designed by someone in need of bifocals.
