01/06/2026: Nice place, nothing spectacular.
They asked us where we wanted to eat, and since we're IQOS smokers, we chose outside. I'll start by saying that it's not closed, the outside is completely open... while we were smoking IQOS, they told us smoking was strictly prohibited.
Then the service was poor: sour and uninterested waiters, not even a smile.
The pizzas were acceptable, nothing special...there's definitely better.
Awful experience...

26/06/2026: I've been coming to this place since it opened, and I returned today after a long time.
It was difficult to improve, but they succeeded.
Everything was delicious, the ingredients were exceptional, and the owner was always courteous and kind to everyone.
If only it had a location on the sea, it would be unrivaled... but who knows, never say never.

05/06/2026: A truly welcoming place. We celebrated a birthday, and we were served beautifully, in addition to the excellent food. A true treat. Good food, friendly people, and excellent service. The waiters are very helpful, kind, and attentive to any intolerances or allergies, especially since I'm lactose intolerant. Since I couldn't have the cake, they remembered and brought me a delicious soufflé. Everything was excellent, thank you.

13/07/2026: Good food, the only flaw was that at the entrance there were some wet waste containers that gave off a bad smell and it's not nice for people to smell that unpleasant smell. Otherwise good.
30/06/2026: On the way home, well ahead of schedule, we stopped at a restaurant, took a nice dip on the nearby beach, and then sat down to dinner.
A dish of raw fish

06/06/2026: We visited this pizzeria/restaurant on the recommendation of friends. I must say, the location is charming; you can dine both inside and outside in a private area on a pedestrian street behind the restaurant. The staff is truly kind and friendly. We ordered pizzas and fish-based entrees. I must say, the pizzas were very good, but above all, well-leavened and easy to digest. The entrees were also very good, mouth-watering. Overall, it was a pleasant discovery, and I hope to return next time we pass through Molfetta, hoping to meet Caparezza.

21/04/2026: We had lunch as a group with a set menu. The squid ink focaccia was truly delicious, the octopus and potato salad was tender and flavorful. The pasta with beans and mussels was good. Unfortunately, we ate inside, so there was no sea view. The service was prompt. The price was perhaps a little high for the quantity, but it was also true that it was a fish-based menu.

28/05/2026: Fantastic seafood, we tried the fried prawns and fried squid & tentacles. Crispy and lightly coated, not oily at all. Also very nice potato chips!! We’ll come back if we get the chance during this visit to Molfetta.
08/05/2026: I wanted to give it 0 stars because my girlfriend called the property. The website says they close at 11:30 PM. We showed up at 11:18 PM and they had already closed everything. They weren't happy with that, and their behavior was inappropriate.

16/05/2026: Just finished dinner. What can I say... So many things. Service was okay and friendly, but really lacking in presence and punctuality. Lots of young people ready to and ready to be trained, which is appreciable, but the dining room was left to its own devices. The wine arrived late, and the order was interrupted because they were talking among themselves.
As for the food, the real sore point. The only redeeming feature was the peeled mussels. The risotto with pumpkin, shrimp, and bottarga was a tiny portion, poorly plated, and tasted only of bottarga.
The price was incredibly steep, exceeding €100 for just two risottos, a few appetizers, and half a glass of wine, all topped off with a quality far from that of the true MareChiaro.
