01/05/2026: Some friends and I enjoyed a May Day lunch with a set menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food; everything was truly delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully served. The location is small but very welcoming, and it's definitely more inviting in the summer months. The value for the menu was truly excellent. Special mention goes to the kind Lorenzo, a waiter who went above and beyond: super helpful, polite, and above all, friendly, he was a wonderful companion throughout the lunch.

21/04/2026: A small restaurant offering lunch options, including starters, main courses, and various side dishes. Their truly fantastic Ascoli olives are worth trying, and you can also take them home. Highly recommended for anyone passing through the San Benedetto del Tronto area.

01/06/2026: If I could give less than one star, I would… we called to book a dinner for four. We arrived on time and sat down at a table. Problems began: outside the restaurant there was a daily menu with appetizing dishes, but many of them weren't on the menu inside. Needless to say, the ones we were interested in were sold out… our choice (of all four) therefore fell on a mixed seven-course (fish) appetizer. Given the not exactly modest price (25 euros per person!), we imagined they would bring us a reasonable amount of each appetizer. Instead, a small dessert plate arrived with two anchovies, a spoonful of fish salad, and a tiny salmon roll (so little we thought it was just a taste). When the bread was finished (there were four slices), we politely asked for more, and what did they say? That it was all gone!! Absurd! In the meantime, the other "appetizers" arrived. Two (two!) Ascoli olives and two mini (very small, they seemed defrosted) peeled shrimp. But the finishing touch was the mussels! They were finished (…). They brought us a bowl of clams (full of sand), half of which were closed. For all four of us! Okay, but then there was supposed to be monkfish… but no! Finished!! In its place they brought us a bowl of cuttlefish with peas for four, inedible! The end. All for the modest sum of 134 euros. If they had given us a discount for the aforementioned problems, we would have understood. Instead, not even half a euro less! One star

01/06/2026: Disappointment. I'm deeply disappointed because my expectations were high given the location and the ambiance. We waited 40 minutes to place our order. The menu was rather sparse, with three first courses and three second courses, one of which had been changed because the lasagna wasn't available. We asked if it was possible to have what was written on the blackboard at the entrance, but they told us that some dishes had sold out by midday. We had the option of a single appetizer for 25 euros, with seven courses, two of which were unavailable. They offered me cuttlefish instead of monkfish, which wasn't as good quality. We decided on the appetizer to start. We asked for more bread (there were only four slices of bread in the basket, one each) and were told that the bread was OUT OF STOCK... at that point, our adventure at that restaurant ended. Never again!

21/07/2026: Needs a rethink. Staff unaccustomed to customers' dietary needs (intolerances). Clean but dated facilities. The highlight is dining at a table with your feet in the sand, single rows of umbrellas, and online reservations.

18/07/2026: This has always been our favorite restaurant in Grottammare. Everything is delicious, from appetizers to main courses, especially the ravioli, which are delicious! Thanks to Matteo, the owner, and all his kind and professional staff.

10/05/2026: Excellent experience. The restaurant is delightful, bright, and very welcoming. The service is excellent; the staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and the owner is truly a wonderful person. And what about the food? Excellent!! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the dishes are truly thoughtful and delicious!

10/05/2026: The food impressed us in every way. The tagliata di tonno was divine, the frittura mista was crispy, fresh, and surprisingly light. The wine was a perfect match. The service was very friendly; we arrived late for lunch and were still served. The owner is a true host – warm, attentive, and incredibly personable.

25/02/2026: Excellent fish, tasty... fresh and natural flavors. My girlfriend and I spent about a hundred euros. We had a hot and cold fish olive appetizer. Two first courses, a glass of wine, a coffee, and a dessert.

21/12/2025: Federico is an excellent host, but his is the real San Benedettese brodetto... Spectacular. The balance of flavors and the aroma of the vinegar are perfectly balanced, no house won hands down... Thanks again Federico, I'll be back soon.

17/01/2026: What a discovery! We came here on a friend's recommendation. We ordered two fried fish dishes (cod and tuna). They were really, really good. The sandwiches were delicious, and the brownies with rosemary ice cream were truly delicious. I also heard they do catering. Business card taken. See you soon!

07/07/2026: Terrible, terrible, terrible! It wasn't a problem that we waited a long time. We were looking forward to pizza in Italy, but in Slovakia we have better pizza, specifically in Nitra in the pedestrian zone where Italians make pizza! But this was far from pizza.. The size of a palm, undercooked, the topping was horrible! ! Too bad I don't have a photo. We really don't recommend it!

02/05/2026: May 1, 2026, table for 8, everything was good, my 11 year old daughter was disappointed. She ate: 1 small plate of clams, 1 first course, 1 fried dish, 1 sorbet, paid 60 euros. I WOULD SAY IT WAS DEFINITELY A LITTLE TOO MUCH.

06/05/2026: A warm welcome. The professional, fast, courteous, and polite waitress served us a superb mussel soup, divine seafood scialatielli, excellent focaccia instead of bread, excellent pizza, and a round of applause to the chef for the tuna as well. The only problem was the price of the wine, €25 with a screw cap. But with the 10% discount from the Mocambo Hotel, we were fine.

23/04/2026: The most racist and discriminatory nightclub in San Benedetto del Tronto for Kontiki nights. It would be nice if they let everyone in without discrimination, or using the phrase "we don't know him, we can't let him in," as if they knew every single person in there, and that's just for one guy. Sometimes they use the hat as an excuse and they won't let you in. In the summer, if you're wearing shorts, sometimes you get in, sometimes not. Now they're making up the idea that if the guy at the door doesn't know you, they won't let you in. But come on, then magically, if he comes in with a table, he can still come in, eh? 😂😂😂 l

02/09/2025: The hotel is in a beautiful panoramic location, surrounded by greenery. The prices are fair, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are spacious enough. The property could use some updating, but for a short stay at this price, it's more than adequate, especially considering the beautiful setting.
