11/10/2025: It was so tangy and impregnated with oil right down to its DNA that I got up in the night and drank a diger seltzer to digest a "fried" fish dish that, more than fried, seemed boiled in oil of which the owner who "fries" to please the customer is a mystery as to what type or chemical compound he uses (certainly not peanut oil).

15/04/2026: The atmosphere is nice, but for a medium-high priced seafood restaurant, you'd expect more from the food and service. We occasionally found dirty glasses all over, especially one we asked to change—but they should have been changed all over... the same goes for the plate, one of which was really dirty. The food is good but not the best, especially the cold appetizers; they're plentiful, but they left much to be desired. There's nothing to complain about regarding the quantity; the portions are generous, and the full menus are relatively reasonable. The first courses and the fried fish (literally 1 meter) are really good, and are the restaurant's strong points. I highly recommend it if you're planning on eating first courses or fried seafood; I don't recommend the full menu, despite the reasonable price, unless you want to try a bit of everything. The washing and cleanliness of the plates and glasses, as well as the quality of the appetizers, could definitely be improved. The waiter is friendly, but given the size of the restaurant, he's alone.

14/01/2026: good fish selection with cold and hot starters, some tasty and unusual, modest wine list albeit with a selection of local products, overall good value for money.

11/03/2026: The rooms are nice, the only flaw is the kitchen, the food is poor. I ordered a salad and it arrived with a snail crawling around in the leaves.

29/03/2026: We had lunch at Ristorante Viareggio and the experience was excellent. The location is fantastic, right on the beach. ​The fish is incredibly fresh and carefully prepared: we tried the appetizers, the first courses, and the dessert and were truly satisfied. The value for money was also excellent. ​The owner is truly friendly, kind, and helpful. He also loves dogs; we had a German Shepherd-like dog with us, and there were no problems at all. ​If you're looking for a place to eat excellent fish in Grottammare without too many frills but with plenty of substance, Viareggio is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back!

21/02/2026: I attended a birthday party at this chalet. Everything was impeccable, from the delicious food to the friendly and attentive service. I'll definitely be back!

12/04/2026: A small trattoria near the port, typical of San Benedetto del Tronto. The place is very cute, welcoming, and clean. We had a really good seafood risotto, cooked to perfection. The grill was delicious. For dessert, I had the berry cheesecake, and I can assure you, I've never had a dessert this good! The prices are really, really good!

28/03/2026: I had lunch at this trattoria by chance during a short vacation. The location doesn't inspire confidence, but the service and dishes are satisfactory. The staff is friendly and helpful, very helpful. The dishes are simple but good, and the prices are reasonable. Unpretentious, but happy to have chosen it.

11/04/2026: ...not a very happy experience...paid a considerable amount for an entree that consisted of a mini dish with a breaded anchovy inside...a seared tuna, a paltry grill, with company-cafeteria-style baked potatoes...service needs reviewing. Disappointed.

03/05/2026: I went to this restaurant yesterday with my boyfriend. What can I say, everything was perfect. Even though we hadn't booked and it was packed, they still managed to find us a table. A very, very nice and attentive lady served us throughout the meal. We ate divinely. Truly, nothing to complain about. A fantastic experience, definitely worth repeating.
