14/11/2025: A beautiful restaurant with generous and delicious dishes. If you stop by during the week for lunch, they offer a set menu, but good value. The atmosphere is clean and the staff are very friendly. I stopped by after visiting the Certosa, with my furry friend, who was very happy to welcome me. I highly recommend it.

14/12/2025: The food was excellent, worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. The beautifully decorated dining room created the perfect atmosphere. The service was excellent, with the staff attentively serving the ladies first, and special attention was paid to those with allergies and intolerances, not only by offering alternative dishes but also by marking the guest's location with a place card.
08/11/2025: A dear friend's birthday party.
Excellent quality and flavorful appetizers.
The Carnaroli risotto was amazing, and the meat-based main course was exceptional. Damiano Dorati, for me, confirms one of the best restaurants in the Oltrepò Pavese area. Must try!

13/10/2025: We went there for the first time for a fantastic exhibition at the castle.
Excellent experience, warm welcome, attentive and friendly service, especially from the young man. The dishes were quality. We ordered mushroom risotto, pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola, etc. Everything was very good. I confess I would have liked to try the pizzas too.

06/10/2025: For a quick lunch, I arrive at this place at 2:32 PM (closing time is 3:00 PM) and am rudely asked not to sit down, shouting, "There are plenty of other bars around here."

The pizzeria's true strength is the pizza chef, who works with care, listens to the needs of those who order, and sincerely strives to leave every customer satisfied. You can tell he's passionate about what he does, and that really makes the difference. Service like this makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

01/01/2026: Average quality food, I've eaten better in some trattorias... Exorbitant cost per person (€60 per person) compared to quality and quantity... Quantity of dishes 20% less than sufficient..... I'd say it wants to call itself a gourmet restaurant but there's a huge difference between saying and doing..... Last but not least, the wine is of medium-low quality.. The dimly lit environment is a bit cold.... This is the reality, things have to be said as they are. And to think that I went a few years ago and spent little and ate well.... Times change.

29/11/2025: My experience is very personal, as I dined here with a group of friends I hadn't seen in a while! The pizza was really good, the pizza chef was excellent. Even though there were 28 of us, the pizzas arrived just minutes apart, so kudos to the service and the bakery, as they were very quick and attentive! The atmosphere was family-friendly and excellent value for money!!! Highly recommended!

05/01/2026: A place with a beautiful atmosphere and medieval style, it has two floors, a ground floor and a basement with a medieval brick ceiling.
The service was excellent, and the waiters were helpful, professional, and kind.
The pizza was delicious and light.
The ambiance is incredible, with a medieval feel.
Highly recommended.

18/12/2025: I returned to eat here last week after a few months, and the experience was very disappointing. The quality is significantly lower than a few months ago, perhaps even compared to this summer. The food is mediocre and poorly prepared, but the real problem is the service.
Rude staff, often absent from the dining room, and inattentive to customers.
Long wait times and a total lack of professionalism.
A place that has lost quality in just a few months. It's hard to recommend it in its current state. 🤷♂️
29/11/2025: Lovely place, but poorly heated (17.3°C), with one person taking care of everything, from welcoming guests to serving tables, etc. The food was good, but some of the ingredients were missing (cheese in the tagliolini). Overall, disappointing compared to the bill.

01/01/2026: I ordered two takeout pizzas, one with fries and one with fries, sausage, and Taleggio cheese. Thin, well-topped pizza, very good! The staff were friendly and welcoming, highly recommended! It's also one of the few pizzerias in the area that sells Taleggio cheese.
