08/12/2025: I'd like to take the time to review this restaurant. I personally love it, starting with the service, which is always elegant, polite, and impeccable, not to mention the food, which I find truly excellent.
Given the quality it offers, it's no surprise that reservations are required.

03/08/2025: Stunning location, friendly staff, and carefully prepared, top-notch dishes. This is our third time there, and unless there are weddings, the atmosphere is truly excellent. On the other two occasions, the wedding celebrations in the adjacent room made the noise really unbearable. I therefore recommend asking when booking if there are events. Overall, a truly five-star rating. We'll definitely be back.

08/11/2025: The best pizzeria in Roverbella, if not in the entire Mantua area!
06/11/2025: I ate here for a birthday.
The space is large, with rooms that accommodate many customers, which means the noise level is above average, especially when there are groups of children and teenagers who are barely supervised.
The service is confusing; the waiters serve each pizza with its own name without informing the customer whether the pizzas have different toppings or not. This caused confusion in our case, because identical pizzas with added or removed toppings were delivered to people who hadn't requested them.
The pizzas aren't exceptional, but the price is reasonable for the food and service.

Frequento questo ristorante da tanti anni e non sono mai uscito deluso. Pasta e ravioli fatti in casa, piatti della tradizione locale e ottima carta dei vini. Alberto, il titolare/maitre/factotum attento e professionale. Altamente consigliato.

12/12/2025: A business seafood dinner. A seafood appetizer, both raw and cooked. Paccheri with lobster and baked sea bass with potatoes. Lugana and Prosecco paired everything. Excellent flavors and top-notch quality. Kudos to the wait staff, who managed to accommodate all our needs and provided impeccable service.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful.
The place is welcoming and exudes a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
The dishes are delicious, with meticulous attention to presentation.
We will definitely be back.

07/12/2025: While visiting Mantua, we stopped for some traditional dishes once again. The stew was fantastic, and the family atmosphere was welcoming. Finally, we noticed that half the staff was from Puglia, and we also ordered a plate of orecchiette with turnips, perfectly executed. Recommended for anyone who wants to experience the warmth of a typical Mantuan trattoria with a touch of Puglia.

02/11/2025: Excellent venue, excellent service, excellent food.
We choose the Veliero when we want to eat good fish.
I recommend the fried fish: not at all greasy and sublimely crispy.
The new management hasn't completely transformed the venue, but they've improved an already excellent restaurant.
I really liked that the 18-lune grappa was poured directly at my table.

13/11/2025: Rendezvous sandwich: TOP... Balanced and tasty flavor. Excellent quality and quantity of meat. This is the only sandwich on the menu, but they don't need any others: this one is worth it!

29/10/2025: I had lunch alone, but I have to say everything was perfect. From the moment you walk in, you're immediately greeted and shown to your table. The first and second courses were both well-portioned and tasty. Compliments also go to the wait staff, who are always attentive to their customers.
It's now saved in Google; if I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.
27/10/2025: The dish of the day was good, the waitress was a bit sour, too many flies, and there are no fly-repellent devices installed, we are in 2025 it's absurd, because of the sour waitress I asked for a replacement bread because some flies had settled on it and in an annoyed manner she took the bread back bringing more but with inside what I had asked to be changed.

11/05/2025: I went with my family to eat for Mother's Day, a place with convenient parking, the staff was friendly, I found the service fast, we ordered pizzas and first courses and they were all delicious, the only thing was the lemon sorbet, I found it a little too liquid but still very good
