27/03/2024: Unfortunately, the pizza sauce was absolutely unseasoned and the coffee at the end was undrinkable, although some reviews had promised more. The Rigatoni Bolognese was mediocre but ok. All in all we were disappointed

21/03/2024: Nice hotel on the shores of Lake Garda near Rivoltella di Desenzano, with a view over the entire southern basin of the lake and Sirmione. Welcoming place and courteous staff, good food, meeting rooms also available, internal parking.

28/02/2024: We made the menu for our wedding on 20 July 2013 when there was the “L'ombra” restaurant at “L'Aquila d'Oro” and booked with Mrs. Sonia who was immediately very kind, very helpful and very professional, obviously the aperitif was very good, everything very fresh and top quality, a rich buffet and all accompanied with “Cà dei Frati” wine, a wonderful menu, which my guests still remember very well today. Not to mention the beautiful, well-kept garden and the lake view which always offers a magnificent sunset in the evening.

12/02/2024: Excellent location not far from the centre. Hotel directly on the lake, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and hospitality.

05/02/2024: Posto da favola, super organizzati, molto gentili e disponibili i ragazzi di sala, abbiamo preso un vino eccellente consigliato dal sommelier, complimentoni. Cibo buonissimo. Incredibile alla fine abbiamo anche mangiato un gelato fatto dal loro fantastico. Che dire i prezzi per il posto super onesti. Super consigliato. Ci torneremo presto

04/02/2024: Bellissimo posto ci sono stato ieri sera con mia moglie e i gruppi di amici, i primi eccellenti, la grigliata di mare superba, consiglio a tutti di provarla. Veramente un posto accogliente e ben curato. Un applauso al cuoco e a tutto il suo staff. Servizio di sala cortese e attento. Tutto perfetto. Vale ogni centesimo speso. Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Grazie.

23/01/2024: A very beautiful place, in front of the lake. Simple but well cooked dishes. Excellent fried calamari and various pastas. Courteous staff. We go there often in the summer.

09/10/2023: Prima volta nella nuova gestione, locale super curato, bello, veramente bello e intimo. Cantina dei vini spettacolare! Qualità dei cibi ineccepibile, crudi di mare di super qualità! Posizione/Qualità/prezzo top! Da tornare con serate di musica live e karaoke sicuramente!

13/03/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo una domenica di gennaio in occasione di un compleanno. Cibo molto buono, molta scelta.. unica pecca, abbiamo dovuto aspettare molto per ricevere i nostri piatti, ma devo dire che ne è valsa la pena!

24/02/2024: Siamo in 6 ordiniamo "2 fritti misti da condividere come antipasto senza portare ulteriori piatti, poi prendiamo 6 pizze....ed elenchiamo quali" ... arriva tutto insieme... ad una certa ora, mandati via perché c'era il secondo turno ...ecco perché era arrivato tutto insieme. Il proprietario (?!?) sta alla cassa e domanda se é andato tutto bene... alle nostre lamentele... "alla prenotazione vi abbiamo detto del doppio turno" In realtà alla domanda "siamo in 6, c'è posto?" "si, alle 19 o alle 21" manca la frase "facciamo doppio turno" (per furbizia?), poi "avete sbagliato l'ordinazione nel caso delle pizze e dei fritti misti, siamo sempre pieni e facciamo addirittura doppio turno". Peccato perché il mangiare è buono se non ottimo! Il resto si può decisamente migliorare ma non c'è la volontà di farlo...alla fine della serata quello che conta è l'incasso e quello è ottimo. Consiglio: fate anche un turno alle 23, uno all'una, uno alle tre, uno alle 5 e colazione all'inglese alle 7...Mi aspetto la risposta "imbarazzante" del proprietario-manager anzi no...starà ancora contando i soldi. Non posto le foto delle pizze assieme ai fritti misti ...c'è sempre tempo eventualmente nelle sedi opportune!

05/04/2024: Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Pizza tasteless, more like flatbread with tomato sauce than good pizza dough. But the worst thing was the steak: it tasted like it was cooked in whiskey. Had no roasted aromas and tasted like disinfectant. Ordered medium rare, it came almost raw. A guest at the next table also ordered this steak and had it returned because he found it inedible. The salad consisted of lettuce leaves, the kind you get ready-made in supermarket bags. Without tomato and cucumber pieces. It's really a tourist rip-off.

08/03/2024: Io credo che la ristorazione non è per tutti ,però in questo ristoro io mi sono trovato come a casa propria, il cibo ,le attenzioni del personale,l'ambiente, quadra tutto, non vi resta che fare una sosta,piacevolissima, grazie ed alla prossima
