10/11/2025: I had lunch yesterday at Trattoria S. Martino - Le 3 Oche in Gargnano, and the experience was truly excellent. The traditional cuisine featuring lake fish is excellent, with refined dishes and great attention to detail. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and friendly. The location is very elegant, and the lake view makes the lunch even more special. We celebrated our anniversary, and the staff made the occasion even more enjoyable by bringing us candles to celebrate. A truly enjoyable lunch: highly recommended for those seeking good food, professionalism, and an elegant, welcoming atmosphere.

17/02/2026: The food is very good, I went for the bourguignonne evening, as an entrée we were served a tartare, then a show of various types of different meats to cook each to your liking with a nice amount of sauces, and to finish a freshly baked apple pie, the wine of excellent quality and the location is refined... Too bad that even though we arrived first the waiters served the other tables first without even deigning to look at us... When they did they were very kind and professional, but the wait was really long

02/01/2026: We chose Villa Calini for our welcome party the evening before the wedding to welcome all our guests, both Italian and international (American), and our loved ones. We couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we entered Villa Calini, we met Rossella, who accompanied us with great professionalism, helpfulness, and kindness throughout the planning process, helping us with choices, from the menu to the organization of the evening, always making us feel at ease and cared for. The evening was simply perfect: all the guests complimented us on the excellent food, the impeccable cleanliness of the venue, the warm welcome, and the professionalism of the waiters. Every detail was taken care of with attention. Being the Christmas season, the villa was beautifully decorated, creating a warm, elegant, and truly special atmosphere, which made everything even more magical. We had a wonderful time in every way, and we will cherish this memory forever. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Calini to anyone looking for a refined, welcoming venue managed by truly competent people. The compliments we've received from our guests speak for themselves.

14/03/2026: A truly disappointing experience. We arrived with our baby in a stroller and, instead of being greeted normally like any other customer, we were placed at a table outside the main dining room, practically in a corner between the entrance door, the fish refrigerator, and the coat check. An uncomfortable, cold, and undignified place to eat, which made us feel distinctly left out just because we had a baby in a stroller. In 2026, it's unacceptable for a family to be treated this way. A restaurant should welcome all customers with respect, not relegate them to a corner as if they were a problem. An experience that unfortunately doesn't make us want to return. Perhaps it would be helpful to remember that a child isn't a nuisance, but simply another customer. PS: I chose to give two stars only because I want this review to be read and seen by as many people as possible. If it were based on the experience I had, the score would have been zero.

03/03/2026: I'm sharing this review for those of us who, like us, chose to organize a business dinner as a social gathering outside of work, but found ourselves having to manage different dietary requirements. We booked several weeks in advance, immediately notifying them that there would be a vegan and a vegetarian at the table. We were assured there would be no problems. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the restaurant, the person in charge of welcoming us seemed clearly struggling to offer suitable alternatives. The result was that one person dined on a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce and a pumpkin cream soup. Considering that, with a bottle of budget-friendly wine, we spent around €70 each, we would have expected more attention and care, especially after having communicated our needs in advance. The staff was friendly, and we understand that vegan cuisine isn't the restaurant's focus. However, there was a certain superficiality in the handling of our request, both in terms of the variety of options and in relation to the overall cost of the evening.

05/01/2026: First time at this fish shop, try it for takeout on December 31st, recommended by a friend. Out of curiosity, we ordered the €50 mixed raw fish, and as you can see from the photo, we were very pleased with both the quality and quantity. The gratinated scallops were, I think, the best I've ever eaten, considering we had to reheat them. The gratinated shrimp and calamari skewers were delicious. The sautéed mussels and clams were nothing special. Overall, a great experience.

19/01/2026: We celebrated our 60th birthday yesterday and had a wonderful time, as always. The service was perfect, very polite, and we drank a few large bottles. They were excellent, and the place was wonderful.

12/01/2026: A wonderful surprise! We were in the area and went to the restaurant on Saturday for lunch. A very beautiful and well-kept location, with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. Excellent service, truly excellent food. Fair price considering the overall quality of the experience.

08/11/2025: We were staying in Salò to relax after the hustle and bustle of Italy and we weren't expecting to have one of the best gastronomic experiences of our trip. We were very well attended to by the owner, Estefano, and the waitress, and the food was sensational. We ate pasta with black garlic paste that was spectacular, a fish (sea bass) with artichoke cream, and the next day we returned and had as an appetizer a rabbit stuffed with chicken and for the main course a fish lasagna with pumpkin and another with pork steak with mashed potatoes, onion and sea bass, simply unforgettable! Don't expect large portions, but they are very satisfying and the flavor is sensational. For dessert we had the pistachio tiramisu, also very good. When I return to Italy, it will be the first restaurant I want to go back to.
