27/07/2025: Claudio and his lovely wife are excellent, the fish is top-notch. Their friendliness is certainly not comparable to that of some starred restaurants with a snobbish attitude (which would be better off losing). It's over!!! I rarely write reviews, but they truly deserve it!

26/07/2025: A small but well-organized and well-stocked restaurant. We went for dinner and I have to say we enjoyed everything except the seafood carbonara. I would have preferred the portions to be a little smaller. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The only downside was that we unfortunately had to wait quite a while for the last meal. I don't know what the problem was, but they apologized. Overall, a great place, even for a romantic dinner.

04/08/2025: The dough is falling apart, not rising, the pizza chef is missing his skills, and the pizza is still heavy. Things have changed since years ago, and in fact, I won't be coming back. They'd be quicker to close...

31/07/2025: Quelle belle découverte à proximité de notre hôtel ! Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y sommes retournés deux fois de suite . Nous avons pu découvrir des spécialités comme le risotto aux myrtilles (que nous avons depuis refait chez nous ) ou encore le poisson en croûte de pistache . L'assiette de fruits fe mers était également délicieuse. Attention cependant : la carte touristique (beaucoup moins originale ) n'etait pas la même que la carte italienne ! (Nous nous en sommes aperçus car mon conjoint a réservé une fois en italien directement auprès du restaurant et une autre fois en anglais par téléphone : nous avons du demander à changer pour avoir la carte italienne . )

17/08/2025: I haven't been there, and I won't be going. I find it absolutely unfair that my email reservation to spend a "SmartBox" gift was "forgotten," and I had to call 20 minutes before my scheduled arrival to be told there was no room. Disorganization, or bad faith. Thank you for ruining an evening.

10/08/2025: Every time I dine, it's a privilege for me. Savoring the humble dishes of Neapolitan cuisine is priceless. The owner, originally from Salento, enriches the menu with unique gastronomic dishes to stand out from the competition and surprise his regulars and passing customers. Today, June 1st, at 1:50 PM, I had the opportunity to preview one of his culinary inventions. As a true Neapolitan, I was "arricriato," a typical Neapolitan expression. "Enriched by Flavors and Soul"! Thank you for granting me this culinary opportunity! Pasta al dente, cherry tomatoes, grape segments, olive oil, and lots and lots of fish (freshly caught). All this while sipping a sparkling white wine. I also thank the staff. The waiter, Mr. S., who, in addition to serving, gallantly conversed admirably.... Now, it's time to savor a good ☕️....to let the alcohol fumes from the good grapes in the 🍷 vanish. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: Everything was perfect! The gluten-free pizza had delicious dough, not the usual frozen junk some owners sell you. I'll be happy to return! CONGRATULATIONS!

18/08/2025: Value for money... The babà was fabulous... (a little pricey for a dessert) Otherwise, nothing to say.

16/08/2025: I've been coming here forever, and it's never changed, thankfully! The atmosphere is a bit '80s, the service is friendly, and the pizza is delicious!

16/08/2025: I've been going to Byron for decades. The menu has slowly evolved over the years, but the atmosphere has remained virtually unchanged, which is very pleasant. Goldfish swim in the pizzas and canals run throughout the restaurant. Caged birds liven up some corners. The food is good, and the pizza is excellent. Wait times are always reasonable, and they also do takeout. The burgers are very good. I'll continue to go there for a long time.

02/08/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm the son of Neapolitans. Pasta and pizza are above everything else. I've lived in the pizzeria neighborhood for 25 years, but I've never eaten one this good. It's FANTASTIC, the crust doesn't collapse. Our favorite is the terrona (sausage and broccoli rabe), the dough is fantastic (my wife is a pastry chef and she knows what she's doing). The organization is excellent even during the busiest times, and the ingredients are excellent. What can I say? I feel sorry for those who don't eat it. We're lucky. Well done, well done, I never give compliments, but keep it up, and we're happy. Thanks guys.

29/07/2025: I highly recommend it; the pizza is delicious, and the fried foods too. We go there very often for lunch, too. If you're passing through Bergamo, it's a must-see.

10/08/2025: First, I want to say that the owner's helpfulness is disarming; the welcome and service were 5-star. The location is very well-maintained, and the tranquility that reigns in this restaurant is top-notch, despite being right next to Orio al Serio Airport. We ordered (for two) pacchero pasta with scorpionfish ragù, Taggiasca olives, capers, and cherry tomatoes, recommended by the wait staff (Eris); it was exquisite. I must add that before preparing our dish, they brought the fresh fish they were going to cook to our table, a truly important detail. Both the waiters and the drinks (including wine) were extremely kind and answered all our questions thoroughly. We discovered this place by chance; we'll be back. Thank you all!

08/08/2025: Not to come back, I order a set menu with two dishes, they bring me the first dish and after waiting 45 minutes I complain to the waiter about the second dish and he tells me that the kitchen is closed without attending to anything, then I speak with the waitress that I placed the order with and she tells me that she forgot and that the kitchen is closed, in short she left me without eating, it is the worst thing that can happen to leave the client without eating due to the negligence of the waiters and then I told the owner and he did nothing either

06/06/2025: This evening after a busy day at work, I make up my mind. For some time, I had planned to have lunch or dinner. It's evening, it's 8:30 pm... I enter... a well-kept location, inside. One of the two waiters at Sala, tells me that only the outside is open. I sit down, immediately they serve me a small pizza and a glass of sparkling white wine. I order, a risotto allo scioglio. 30 minutes have passed.... Served, I immediately noticed a non-fishy smell. I tasted it but I didn't like it. I'm sorry. Immediately, the waiter's response: "how come you didn't like it because you ate everything?" I was silent. I should have answered her. "what you order and eat, is always eaten, because it's a divine sin to throw it away and then because I would have paid for it, anyway".

02/09/2025: Just for fast lunch. Plenty of seats, so good for large group. Not very fresh and tasty food
