08/12/2023: Siamo stati a cena all'Immacolata, non è più Franco al Borgo, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla nuova gestione. Piatti deliziosi e servizio attento. Complimenti!!!

31/03/2024: We didn't really feel like we belonged. The food was tasty though. But the starter came at the same time as the main course (perhaps a misunderstanding?). My husband's plate had already been cleared even though I was still eating. There were no pizzas or pasta dishes on the menu as main courses, but we saw people eating pizza at the next table. It is also called a pizzeria. Unusual. There is not a nice area around the restaurant, so you should really only go there at the time of your table reservation.

30/03/2024: Es war speziell. Auf der Karte gab es z.B. keine Pizza, obwohl es sich auch Pizzeria nennt und die Leute am Nebentisch Pizza assen. Die Vorspeise kam leider gleichzeitig mit der Hauptspeise. Die Atmosphäre war familiär, aber irgendwie fühlten wir uns gerade deshalb nicht dazugehörig. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Die Umgebung ist gar nicht schön, da ist nichts los in der Nähe.

16/02/2024: Simple, old, very pleasant place. Many dishes from Genoese cuisine are available, all of which I find very pleasant: various typical savory pies: artichoke pies (tasted and others made with chard, onions, etc. which I imagine are similarly very good), rice cake, focaccia with cheese, farinata (not tasted here but yes looked good) and some cooked dishes such as zimino (not tasted but very inviting), squid with calamari and peas, stuffed anchovies and I believe many others. Among many inviting-looking artisan desserts I chose and tasted a truly excellent chestnut cake. Shelves and stools available for consumption on site. Also takeaway service. Hanging on the walls are many beautiful prints of ancient Genoa.

13/02/2024: Ogni volta che si passa per Genova è una tappa obbligata per i prodotti fantastici che servono... Ottima la focaccia al formaggio, come la farinata. Provate anche le acciughe ripiene che creano dipendenza... Caratteristica anche la posizione in un carrugio vicino al Duomo...

04/04/2024: Finally a pizzeria that has a vegetable cheese available! I would add some vegan pizza to the menu... still excellent dough and ingredients. Personally I took a vegan wholemeal and it was 🔝 We will definitely be back

25/03/2024: This thing is absolute madness. 10 highly motivated, cheerful people in the kitchen and service just knock out the orders so that it's buzzing. Our food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The downside is the ambience, which doesn't necessarily invite you to linger, at least in the interior. But if you want nice local cuisine at super PLV and aren't looking for a candlelight dinner, you shouldn't be put off by the crazy name.

02/04/2024: An absolute blast! The food is excellent, the service is very nice and friendly. Everything was prepared quickly even though the restaurant was full. I will definitely visit here again if I go to Genoa again.

01/04/2024: First course very good, terrible service due to the delay of the second which, moreover, despite having ordered it together with the first, we no longer ate because it is absolutely impossible to stay for 50 minutes or more with the first's plate still to be cleared in front of us and see who has arrived well after you who is now on to dessert......and above all when you point it out to him he doesn't show any displeasure, in fact he tells you that you were lucky enough to eat the first course anyway as if you should be grateful to him!!!!!!!! !!! OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!! AND BESIDES ALL HE TELLS YOU THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BREAK HIM!!!!!!!!UNHEARD OF RUDE It's a shame because the kitchen deserves it but the waiters should be thrown out into the street!!!!!!!

14/11/2023: My wife and I were there in August 2020 and 2021. Excellent fish, very characteristic and clean place, very kind and expert staff who can recommend the best dishes. And then there is Pino "the Pirate" (as we and not only us nicknamed him) who is simply fantastic, he is the owner of the restaurant and is a friendly and capable person, when you talk to him you feel like you have always known him, he is a very wise and kind man, he even gave my wife a Captain Morgan rum pirate hat! The price is average and sometimes you have to wait a little longer than necessary to eat, but the quality of the freshly caught and cooked fish makes you forget everything. It is an essential stop for anyone on holiday in Lampedusa, in my opinion. If we return to that splendid island (and we will return), it will also be to go and eat some good fish at the Lampara del grande Pino.

24/02/2024: Historic restaurant in Genoa where the fish is very fresh and cooked perfectly according to the Genoese tradition. Correct prices considering the high quality of the dishes offered. Table that remembers the president Sandro Pertini who loved this restaurant and "a piece of history. Friendly and professional service will cheer up your surely high level culinary experience, inviting you to return.

03/04/2024: Typical and well-kept environment. Excellent service, Fabio is a very good waiter. The food very good. Plus the former. I ate the stracotto and it was undercooked despite the name (a little hard..) Recommended
