Nice welcome, spacious place, good soft music and light. Excellent overall atmosphere. The menu is well designed with a clear Sicilian emphasis. I, in the company of my partner, in this restaurant discovered dishes cooked with love and ingredients chosen with care and "tied together" with art and passion; very tasty menu with a touch of refinement due to the ingredients; I tasted an excellent first and second course. The first was the famous spaghetti with cockles: tasty, al dente, plentiful and well seasoned. For second I chose the fried prawns and calamari: very tasty fried in "new" oil and therefore not at all heavy. My partner tasted the cuttlefish salad with Sicilian citrus fruits: very tasty and fresh; very abundant but above all very tender. He concluded with the prawns: very fresh and truly giant; as a side dish, an excellent sautéed vegetable. Excellent wine. However, in conclusion, I would like to focus attention on the staff present in the room who are always courteous and helpful: Mr. Giancarlo who is very kind right from the moment of booking and pays a lot of attention to customers and Mr. Mario who goes out of his way to satisfy their tastes. of the customer and, with great discretion, passes between the tables to inquire about the progress of the evening. Mario himself is the true essence of the restaurateur: extremely knowledgeable about raw materials and Mediterranean dishes. 01/04/2024: Hi, I'm sharing my experience at the "La Perla" restaurant because it might be useful to you if you're thinking of going there. I start from the assumption that it was the first time we went there and we hoped to have a good time but it was the opposite. The appetizers were all cold most likely because they had been reheated, once these were finished we hoped that at least the first one would be good but that wasn't the case: the pasta for the first one was also cold and in fact we didn't even eat it. Furthermore, it must be said that most of the dishes were spicy, a strategy that they most likely used to cover the taste of the dishes. Having said that, I'm sorry to say but it was a truly disappointing experience, I don't recommend it.

01/04/2024: Everything was terrible, staff who didn't know what to serve us, cold food, and cooked meat many hours before, seafood appetizer that tasted only of vinegar, thin slices passed off as parmesan fondue, octopus hidden in radicchio, pancasio passed off as paddlefish, tagliolini with cod instead sea ​​bass, very cold fried fish only calamari, prawns cooked previously and defrosted before serving them, when I pointed out the problem the waiters snorted and went away without replying, the staff didn't even know what dish they were bringing, when asked to know the contents no one was able to answer about the ravioli, they were requested several times and brought half an hour later than the other diners, always cold, Waiters who will remove the plates carelessly causing things to fall from the plate, even though some people's food intolerances were pointed out a week before the ceremony, it was of no use because the waiters still brought the wrong dishes, saying that they had to bring that (if you do as you like, ask them to do it first if there are intolerant people?), very loud music that you can't even talk to the person next to you, very dirty bathrooms, and access to the bathroom for disabled people which conflicts with the door of the anti bathroom, I had read the reviews, I thought they had exaggerated the negativity, but they were right. I was just a guest at a ceremony, so I don't know how much they spent on that terrible food and service, I highly recommend it against everyone. To be avoided.

07/04/2024: We had a great appetizer, very good mixed bruschettas, excellent seafood pasta, said by a Sicilian.....cheese and pepper was decent because he said it was creamier and softer but too dry, while fettuccine Bolognese was TOP.....I also highly recommend temps very short waiting times despite so many people!!! Excellent table service and fantastic guys...all of them! Try it and see for yourself....😉👍

27/03/2024: Fish restaurant without infamy and without praise. The quality of the food is decent the flavors are ok. The mussels aren't completely clean, I know almost no one does that, but it's fair to say. The fried octopus, however, was perfect. The first ones were too salty, especially the white one. The pappardelle were logs, but personally I like them so thick, but it might bother some. The normal dessert.

We took a fried Naples appetizer and mozzarella in carrozza but it remained very oily in taste and a little disgusting... Subsequently I ate the scampi cream goodies, a very generous dish for two people and inviting but the flavor of scampi cream wasn't so noticeable... it didn't feel like I was eating fish. And last thing, perhaps the most important, I am writing this review to complain about the rudeness of the cashier who, after having tried more than once to make the POS work with my payment card, huffing and annoyed, said that you could only pay cash without even finding a second solution, in case I couldn't. I hope I found the wrong evening for both the kitchen and the staff; I'm sorry but we don't behave like this with customers.
