15/08/2024: We tried to dine at this place without a reservation. We ate the plate of raw fish, exceptional, Cantabrian anchovies with butter and stracciata, served very well, a soute and a dessert. While waiting for the courses they brought us as an "entrée",
tastings based on sighted fish are excellent, especially the whitebait.
We ordered coffees, offered by them, accompanied by wine biscuits. Overall, everything was of an excellent standard. Price
right and without cover!!.
I highly recommend it.
13/08/2024: Top as always. Excellent service and applause-worthy dishes. Average prices for those who want to eat excellent, obviously fresh fish. I suggest the inn's starter and scampi cream risotto. We will return again. Thank you

10/08/2024: A good restaurant, quite well known in the Circeo area, I'm happy to have tried it. The menu is certainly interesting, I tried the tastings, the hot ones were much better than the cold ones but overall a good selection of tastings. Spectacular mussels, I have to admit. It's a shame about the service, maybe it was because that evening they really had a lot of seats, and there were really a lot of people. In fact, we arrived at the reservation time and had to wait 10 minutes, during dinner the power went out for a few minutes, service was a bit slow and not very attentive. However, maybe it was just an unfortunate series of unfortunate events. But I will come back to change my mind because I think it is one of the best in San Felice for dining.

11/07/2024: Cuisine that perfectly combines the raw material with the preparation technique in an elegant and comfortable environment. The bruschetta with tomato mayonnaise and marinated anchovies (by the chef), the spaghettone with butter and anchovies and the CBT beef fillet are fantastic. For everything else I'll be back soon 😉

03/07/2024: Fairly quiet restaurant with a beautiful view, in addition to the menu you can order the catch of the day at the cashier from the options displayed. The atmosphere is very nice.
30/06/2024: An elegant place but which at the same time maintains the traditions of the place, excellent fresh fish caught the same day, friendly and qualified staff, even the wine list is not bad, I'm only sorry that my portion of swordfish was cut too thin I would have I expected a slightly larger portion, otherwise an excellent restaurant that I recommend

03/09/2024: Location da incubo. Strapieno ci hanno fatto accomodare in un corridoio a 40 gradi. Cibo scadente, salmone marinato servito con l'olio bianco delle scatole in cui era immerso, riso alla pescatoria con sole cozze e avanzi di non si sa cosa: salato ed immangiabile. Per non parlare dei camerieri che grondavano gocce di sudore sui piatti stessi che portavano e non sapevano a chi dare resto. Per finire bagno retrostante da incubo: sembrava Kabul e bagno in condizioni igieniche impossibili oltre che indecente. Negativo in tutto

30/07/2024: We had very high expectations for this restaurant which unfortunately turned out to be a disappointment
We called to book 8 fish soups and we called back at their request to specify whether we wanted the classic or shellfish soup
When we arrived our soup reservation wasn't there...
However, they accommodated us
In the room there was an air conditioning with very strong power which was very annoying
The noise from the other diners was deafening, it was impossible to talk at a round table of 8
The abundant soups turned out to be of poor quality, the shellfish were hard, rubbery and poorly gutted (55 euros)
Two people didn't get the soup and the times between the first and second courses were really excessive
we asked the waiter to ask the kitchen for an explanation about the delay in the seconds,
after an acceptable time they arrived but we received neither justifications nor apologies, most likely the order had been cancelled
At the end of the meal we asked if they still offered the typical biscuits that our friends had told us about, they brought us two saucers with biscuits similar to the industrial amaretti biscuits that you buy in the supermarket and we found them charged to our bill for 10 euros
Very diluted coffee is also terrible
Let's hope it was just a bad evening

16/08/2024: Good food. Not all fresh something frozen. But it doesn't mean anything. Let's say that we are stuck in the 80s in terms of layout and variety of food. 3 Michelin star wine list...but what's the point if food from a tourist menu is served...make up your mind or raise the level of the food offered or lower the wine list with a bulk but quality wine. You have a person in the room who knows about it... the food that follows the value is missing. The Potentials have taken a path. Prices a little high. Well done anyway!

27/04/2024: Si trotta dii una tavola calda situata alla periferia del paese con tavolini sia all'aperto che all'interno del local, coperti da Tovaglia in plastica trasparente. Cibo già pronto tranne poche eccezioni di cucina espressa. Nulla di eccezionale per il prezzo pagato.
03/03/2024: Assolutamente nella media dei self-service, sia per ciò che riguarda il cibo che per i prezzi. Personale gentile ed accogliente, comodo parcheggio privato e gratuito.

09/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato in tre in una fresca serata di metà giugno. Primi eccellenti, materie prime di qualità sempre, prezzi corretti, nel pieno centro storico di San Felice Circeo. Servizio semplice e attento. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Se si cerca una cucina tradizionale di mare, gustosa, senza il rischio di sbagliare, questo è il posto giusto.
08/07/2024: Al Circeo é il numero 1. Lele il proprietario simpaticissimo,nonno Alfredo il pezzo forte. Lolita è la maga della cucina. Sapori mai sentiti. Consigliatissimo. Ci ritorno presto.

Il ristorante non si chiama più “Le Mura” ma “Le Crocette”

In attesa che un giorno TripAdvisor fornisca (finalmente) la votazione da 0 a 10 (che ritengo più giusta e corretta) io intanto mi avvantaggio!
Alla fine fatta la somma, diviso per tutte le categorie e poi per due, il risultato è:

Il menu è altalenante, si passa dalle alici del Cantabrico e piatti al caviale, a piatti molto più basici ma ben realizzati e dall’ottimo sapore.
Unica nota, dolci, il gazpacho di frutta di stagione con meringhe che in realtà è una macedonia.
LOCATION 6
Il panorama risolleva un ambiente un po’ troppo semplice e che risente un po’ il tempo che passa. Sicuramente meglio il fuori che il dentro. Di giorno, magari al tramonto dovrebbe essere uno spettacolo. Apparecchiatura semplice (forse troppo) e informale, per un locale dai prezzi, poco informali.
SERVIZIO 5
Abbastanza attento ma basito, con alcune imprecisioni. Anche qui, con un prezzo de genere, in attenzione maggiore al servizio non sarebbe male.
CONTO 6
Come già detto il prezzo dei piatti non è poco ma in definitiva giusto per quello che si mangia. Però ne il locale interno, ne il servizio, ne in menu lo giustificano.
In definitiva se vi trovate da queste parti, un posto che alla fine vale la pena di provare!
