17/05/2025: It was a day of extreme tourist calm, this allowed us to filter the various menus on the canal port. The menu outside was perfectly consistent with the receipt, the right portions and the good food, everything was clean, impeccable toilets and very kind staff, another positive note was the table linen. The prices are more modest compared to the competition. Recommended

If I have to take an average of the local restaurants, I don't consider it a restaurant to return to

26/05/2025: We came across it by chance, attracted by the fixed menu sign for 20 euros. We had dinner with spaghetti with clams and fish skewers. Everything was excellent and plentiful. I recommend the house white wine, a wine from the Marche region, excellent aroma and flavor. The place is interesting because it was furnished using furniture from the 70s or even earlier. Expertly renovated. I will return if I pass through Cattolica again.

03/05/2025: Siamo arrivati per caso al Coloniale, abbiano prenotato a pranzo e dopo la prima esperienza siamo tornati anche il giorno dopo. Cibo ottimo, personale gentile. Ottima accoglienza Romagnola.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, leaving the waiter service tonight which is the only efficient one, the kitchen service is terrible and not organized in getting orders out, in my bad experience, from the order of the starters they arrived within the waiting limit, for the first ones after 2 hours and thirty minutes, how to make the hunger go away, what do they arrive??? Seconds!!! All this always under the sun, ask the waiter service for a place in the shade, immediately satisfied, but nothing about the first courses.
You leave the restaurant without having eaten either your first or second course, you still paid!!!
Better to stay away from him. Sin......
I would change the chef!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

21/04/2025: Pizza immangiabile, uno schifo, la pizza era uguale a una focaccia, secca, senza mozzarella e pomodoro(completamente inesistenti, se non qualche minima parte della pizza).
Impasto che va dato ai cani, La pizza di apriva in 2 in mezzo all’impasto, da una parte lo strato minimo di pomodoro dell’altro il fondo della pizza manco ben cotto.
Consiglio al pizzaiolo di abbandonare il mestiere, o al locale di cambiarlo
21/04/2025: Inedible pizza, disgusting, the pizza was the same as a focaccia, dry, without mozzarella and tomato (completely non-existent, except for a few small parts of the pizza).
Dough that should be given to dogs. The pizza opened in 2 in the middle of the dough, on one side the minimal layer of tomato and on the other the bottom of the pizza was not even well cooked.
I advise the pizza chef to abandon his profession, or the restaurant to change it

Ho fatto sia colazione che aperitivo e tutto s è rivelato top. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. È diventato il mio posto del cuore, tappa irrinunciabile. Super super consigliato

21/04/2025: A stunning hotel overlooking the sea. Very nice location with relaxing sea view rooms, then there is a really nice and quite large swimming pool with a slide where you can have lots of fun and enjoy the hydromassage. For those who want a change from the sea and love to play sports there is also a very nice gym and an excellent games room for entertaining children. The owners are fantastic people, super cheerful who welcome you as if you were at home and the service is truly excellent. The rooms are very nice, quite large and always perfectly clean. For those who want to relax and have fun at the same time I recommend this really nice hotel.
11/02/2025: Hotel in a very central location. Equipped beach adjacent to the structure. Private covered parking a few meters away. Simple cuisine with a rich buffet, private pool always available. Absolutely to try!!!

18/03/2025: Sono tornato dopo 2 giorni per capire meglio. Una volta spiegato che, nonostante la ricevuta fosse stata fatta a chi pagò (non a me, infatti pensavo fosse stata omessa....) avevo riscontrato comunque un errore. La disponibilità di Charlie mi ha stupito tanto che mi ha invitato a pranzare come suo ospite. Ho accettato e non volendo approfittare dell'ospitalità (nonostante mi avesse mostrato vari piatti da scegliere) ho optato perlinguine allo scoglio e acqua minerale. Mi è tornato con un piatto da 2 portate (dice che avendo scelto solo una portata d'abitudine aumenta la quantità) scardinando la mia intenzione di mettermi a dieta. Durante l'attesa mi ha portato un piatto di peperoni arrosto ottimi e, una volta terminato il piatto, dopo il caffè mi ha offerto la Sambuca (Molinari) lasciandomi al tavolo l'intera bottiglia. I prezzi sono contenuti ma il menu di mezzogiorno è ulteriormente allettante con un rapporto qualità/prezzo vincente. Charlie è sempre sorridente e ha un atteggiamento molto accogliente. Tornerò coi rinforzi.
13/10/2024: We stopped for dinner one evening; we had three pizzas and three cokes.
Terrible adventure, the pizzas drowned in mozzarella water, the glass of coke full of ice. I waited more than 40 minutes for the pizzas even though the restaurant was empty.
Ordered a pizza with ham and chips and the chips arrived (raw) 10 minutes after the pizza.
I highly recommend the nearby bar.....

03/05/2025: Ottima soluzione per mangiare pesce a poco prezzo. Certo non aspettatevi ostriche ed aragoste ma il pesce è cotto perfettamente e con la formula risparmio puoi avere 5 portate ad appena 16 euro. Una soluzione intelligente ed economica
