16/11/2025: Excellent top quality food, ask for advice and everything will be great

05/11/2025: Luigi is a good host and master of the art, thoroughly describing his dishes and wine pairings. The three stars, rather than four, are due to the complete lack of tablecloths and the fact that I had to ask for cutlery to share some shared dishes with other diners. Even a simple white table runner, given the presence of a cutlery rest and the price, would prevent the (black) tables from being covered in fingerprints! Good luck, Luigi; you're already good, but you can still improve.

17/10/2025: This was by far the best dinner we had in our entire 10 days of traveling through Italy. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. Everything was well presented and delicious. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Amalfi coast. It’s a hidden gem nestled among the cliffs. Give this place some Michelin stars! They absolutely deserve them!

15/10/2025: One of the most superior dinners!!!Sommelier and the sir that explained to us everything about the menu was super!!Food also was super delicious!! Recommend it!!

08/11/2025: Refood was one of our favorite places we ate at during our trip to Sorrento! We ended up eating there twice it was so amazing. We had the calamari, clams linguine, lasagna, and gnocchi a la Sorrento. The calamari was tender and tasted like it had been caught that same day, and the gnocchi was made using potatoes from the owner’s farm. Both times we went the service was great and we loved getting to know the amazing family who owns the place. I highly recommend! Be sure and check out the owner’s wine cellar while you’re there as well.

30/10/2025: We were a bit pushed for time with our toddler with us so only had time for a main and quick desert I feel I must leave a review. The traditional local dishes were perfect and even our smallest family member approved! We had the Gnocchi alla Sorrento and a Spaghetti alla nerano that was perfectly balanced (when a cheese dish like that could have ended up cloying). The service was also very friendly. Although the building is spacious it has a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Grazie millie!

12/10/2025: Excellent Caprese food, the service was very good. One of the few times I've asked for a wine recommendation and they don't go straight for the most expensive. Quiet atmosphere, I would definitely return.

01/12/2025: We did the tasting menu here and the results were a little mixed: out of four, two loved it and two were a little underwhelmed. The service was great, but probably would just order individual courses next time.

30/11/2025: We went to this restaurant because it was basically the only one open near our hotel. Lucky for us because everything was delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We went on the early side (7 pm) and were the only ones in the restaurant for a bit. It picked up and was a little busier by 9 pm (remembering this is off season). Everything we had was delicious: the fritto misto, the red snapper, the potatoes with artichokes, the pizza, the lava cake and the sorbet. Would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend. Plus the restaurant has a car that took us to and from our hotel because we didn’t want to brave walking the coastal road in the dark

18/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant as a couple. It's a beautiful location overlooking Positano. We ate divinely. The dinner was enlivened and enlivened with music by the delightful Antonio, an added bonus to this already beautiful location.

13/10/2025: From being picked up at our hotel by none less than the owner, all the way through to the return journey afterwards, we had the most memorable night at Il Pino. It has a very family run feel, which is great! The service was brilliant and not only efficient but full of laughs and chats. The food was outstanding! One of the best meals we had on our Amalfi leg. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more and we will certainly be back if we visit Praiano again.

19/11/2025: We left home in a storm, but fearlessly we decided to continue and reached Sorrento, where we stopped. Continuing along the road that leads to Massa Lubrense, we were hungry, and after a bend, a sign called "Il Nastro d'Oro" (Golden Ribbon) was there, so we decided to stop. Luckily, the view was breathtaking: Capri is within touching distance. The owner, Francesco, is courteous, knowledgeable, and, above all, passionate about his work. You can tell he takes great care in preparing his dishes... Exceptional, I won't tell you exactly what it is, because you'll have to discover it by going there. And what can I say about Enrico, the owner's son: polite, professional, and eager to please. It was a special day celebrating the birthday of a dear friend of ours. If you're passing by, stop by! It will be an experience you'll treasure in your memories.

11/11/2025: The owner was so kind. Made me feel like I was actually wanted in Italy. Only great experience I had. Wish I could have seen him and eaten there again. Definitely go and tell Francesco, Ryan the American sent you.

12/10/2025: A restaurant a bit out of the way, but within walking distance of the city center in about 15 minutes. The restaurant is small but cozy, located in a basement. The tiny mezzanine, with a few tables, is charming, creating a sense of distance from the rest of the space below. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting. The menu is excellent, not overly varied or elaborate, yet very interesting. Traditional dishes, more or less elaborate, are well-proportioned. The wine list is good. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Parking is available. The price/quality ratio is decent.

28/10/2025: The chef, along with Adriano and his wife, took us on a journey with the flavors he infused into every dish. Flavors that could be found in every single ingredient and the wine was top-notch. Exceptional hospitality and always attentive to our needs. What can I say about Chef Paolo? We could have stayed there listening to him for hours between one dish and the next. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

21/10/2025: When haute cuisine uses love, the result is unique. Paolo Gramaglia is not only a great chef, he is a great artist who skillfully creates works of art with simple ingredients. His art impressed me; in eight courses (actually nine because I couldn't leave out the egg), we had totally different culinary experiences that nevertheless remain etched in my memory. The artichoke (which I normally don't like) literally impressed me with its unique, INDESCRIBABLE taste. The egg, which I adore, I ate for the first time without anything else: just it, until the obligatory final mopping up. It's not a restaurant for everyone (and I'm not speaking from an economic point of view, of course) because in many starred restaurants these days (except those in Campania) they carry out daring experiments to demonstrate some inventiveness, but mainly they prefer to experiment with marketing techniques to fill the rooms and therefore have a clientele more interested in making a good impression than in enjoying delicacies, but not at The President. At The Presidente there is an artistic atelier without particular frills where you go simply to travel with your palate and your mind.

29/10/2025: Very delicious pizza and great service. We enjoyed the view and sound of sea waves while having a glass of wine. I highly recommend you stopping by and eat here. Btw, their homemade tiramisu is delicious so don’t skip the dessert.

27/10/2025: Our last night…and could not have chosen a more perfect place – probably our overall best dining experience! Arrived before sunset (reservations a must, due to a cozy, intimate dining area) and immediately welcomed by the vivacious Alessia. Along with her aunt and another young lady, they treated us with such hospitality and service that we perhaps spent more time in conversation with them then among ourselves. To listen to their stories of their history and that of the restaurant, dating back some 80-years, made us feel we were having dinner in their home. Add the fact that the atmosphere is set on an elevated covered terrace, with direct views of Amalfi…as the sun set and the lights of Amalfi began to come on, no words can fully describe!!! Group of 8 adults, so we had a chance to try a variety of menu items…the grilled fish, Pasta al Limone (outstanding and so unique to Amalfi), smoked Scamorza cheese in lemon leaves and my favorite, the Tris di Marinati - marinated tuna, swordfish & anchovies. EVERYTHING we had was among the best we had among all the other restaurants during our visit! The perfect ending to our meal…as we came off the elevator to the street below, we were personally greeted by Nicola, the grandfather who began it all!

09/12/2025: On Sunday for lunch we went to this restaurant on the advice of friends, what can I say, sublime food, Ornella and Claudio very nice and kind and the staff exceptional, I highly recommend it

21/11/2025: During our five-day stay on the Amalfi Coast, we ended up having dinner at Le Bontà del Capo three times. We first booked this restaurant simply because it was close to our hotel. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. Best of all, they even offer a pickup and drop-off service — incredibly thoughtful! Highly recommended!
