28/07/2025: Yesterday I made this trip....for the first time and I will do it again, as many times as I can, because being hosted at the ruin, is not "going to eat"... it's like taking a trip, it's like walking a road that reserves continuous surprises and each time being amazed by the flavors, the contrasts of flavors, the aromas, the colors... having said that, I won't reveal anything else, to understand, you have to go there and try. Staff (Family) that makes you feel at home, excellent location, with air conditioning and even outdoor tables, high quality raw materials, quality / price ratio, excellent from my point of view..... inclusive at levels that you can't imagine for celiacs,..... fish specialists, I don't drink alcohol, but yesterday they opened an Asprino di Aversa Orange, which was an exaggerated goodness, just looking at it and smelling its aroma.... I live in the Caserta area, but on my next passage for Pozzuoli, I'll stop at a thousand percent.

27/07/2025: A PLACE OF THE HEART Since discovering this place, we've been happy to return, not only for the courtesy and kindness of the staff, but above all for the surprises the cuisine offers! A surefire choice when it comes to gluten-free options, considering the entire menu is available in a gluten-free version, and everything is excellent! Excellent quality, fair prices for a fish menu, but what really matters are the carefully crafted and breathtaking flavor combinations! PS: AIC certified.

13/07/2025: Wonderful location with a stunning view, and exceptional, uncommonly kind staff. Every course was an explosion of flavors... from the spaghetti al cartoccio (their specialty) to the eggplant ravioli, and not to mention the delicate desserts... I highly recommend it in every way.

20/07/2025: The best pasta I’ve had on the Amalfi Coast yet. Service was great & I enjoyed singing and clapping along for others birthday songs. Not a lot of vegetarian options but the one I did have was excellent. I will certainly be back here in the future!

Il cibo è sublime e l' attenzione per i particolari è davvero notevole. L' eleganza e la professionalità di Monica rendono l' esperienza un bellissimo viaggio (tra sapori e sensazioni) ricco di colore. In questo percorso, però, non sarete soli, sarete accompagnati con amore e passione. Cibo di qualità! Stra consiglio!

09/07/2025: As Portuguese, fish is an institution for us, and we're very picky eaters. We ate grilled sea bream; it was very fresh and well prepared.

08/07/2025: Hidden gem frequented by Italians. Amazing service, beautiful outdoor patio with sunset view in July (can see a peak of Capri as well) great local seafood, fair prices, friendly waiters that speak decent English. A welcome reprieve from the tourist hotspots on the Amalfi coast. Will need a rental car or moped to get here.

We chose the tasting menu "The journey", a journey through smells, colors, aromas, flavors of worlds near and far, of history and culture, of harmony and beauty. And when you get to the end, you already know that you will return because that "journey" cannot be forgotten. Chef Paolo Gramaglia, his wonderful wife and all the staff are an authentic excellence of the territory.

14/06/2025: We had made a reservation and that evening we happened to be the only ones in the restaurant. We were served to our every need and had a delicious meal. A real taste sensation!!!

09/07/2025: 4 of us attended the school in July. Easy shuttle from town; nice country atmosphere up on the hill; the hosts were gracious, helpful, and funny. Absolutely recommend to anyone considering it who might be traveling in Campania. Also, we booked our class only the day before, and it was fine.

18/07/2025: This is a family-run restaurant with a very warm atmosphere. The pasta and desserts were delicious and I'd like to go again. They were also very kind to our dog.

15/07/2025: Amazing, fresh seafood dishes. Friendly staff. We had a great time at lunch after our kayak tour. Highly recommended for anyone who likes fresh seafood. The regular menu is great but the fresh dishes of the day are out of this world.

08/07/2025: Excellent experience! Great find a little off the main streets in sorrento but still close. Came across this restaurant just by chance. From first being brought in to the fresh homemade limencello shots ay the end, the whole experience for my husband and I was fantastic . Great service from the farmer- and owner! Uses all his own local food that he grows. I had the baccala and my husband had the rigatoni- both Great and we had the recommened wine with our meals. Would definitely come again. GRAZIE MILLE!

27/06/2025: We stumbled upon Taverna Antonio by pure chance—and what a find. They were fully booked for the night, but graciously squeezed our party of two in, and thank god they did. As a foodie, I thought I had seen it all… but octopus carbonara? Game-changer. It’s been two days, and I’m still thinking about it. We also shared the mussel scarpariello, which was packed with flavor, and what I believe was the Ischian bruschetta—a simple yet perfect mix of tomatoes, olives, capers, and sardines. We dug in so quickly I didn’t even get to photograph it. Everything was fresh, thoughtful, and rooted in local tradition with a creative touch. The restaurant is family-run, and Antonio himself was our waiter—charming, attentive, and clearly proud of what they’ve built. You can tell the space was recently redone; both the interior and exterior are beautifully styled, blending modern polish with island soul. Even the pottery was custom and adorable—another detail that made the whole meal feel special. The only (minor) downside wasn’t even their fault: the restaurant next door had harsh fluorescent lighting that interrupted the otherwise lovely ambiance. But once the food hit the table, we barely noticed. Taverna Antonio is the kind of place you remember—not just for the food, but for the heart behind it. If you’re in Ischia, make a reservation. You’ll be lucky to get in.

12/07/2025: We had dinner two weeks ago, something incredible away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, a magical setting with music in the background and only the view, super welcoming staff, I ate a series of spectacular appetizers, fair prices.
