16/05/2025: Het verzorgde interieur schept verwachtingen. Heel stijlvol vergeleken met soortgelijke restaurants. De verwachtingen werden volledig waar gemaakt. Heerlijk eten. We hadden geen grote honger dus geen pizza maar twee kleine gerechtjes. Beiden uiterst smaakvol. Hele prettige, ongedwongen maar vriendelijke bediening.
30/04/2025: Buona pizza, ottimo servizio. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media. Menù molto vario e completo per soddisfare tutti i gusti.

09/05/2025: On the way along the sea to the train station, I smelled a wonderful smell of grilled fish. I had to follow this and was able to indulge my appetite here. The mixed fried platter was very good and just right for a small appetite. The price was very reasonable. The service quick. I can recommend the restaurant.
28/04/2025: We stayed here on April 25th. There was the fixed menu option: 45 euros per person excluding drinks: starter, first course, second course, coffee and dessert. I must say everything was plentiful and delicious. The pasta with aubergines and swordfish is excellent, as is the fried food. The location is beautiful, a few steps from some rocks on the beach. Service was a little slow but there were a lot of people and all in all it was pleasant.

02/06/2025: We didn’t have a good experience . My risotto was too salty and flavor overpowering. When served asked, we explain and they never had a consideration like reduce on 1/2 price on my plate or no charge it or a free drink/dessert. I couldn’t eat and was like nothing for them.We were waiting at least a little consideration “on my plate” $16. I do not recommend this restaurant. Probably are too much better options in the area.
30/05/2025: Welcome back to Amantea! I haven't been back to Amantea and Sombrero for many years. We had a great time! Excellent food and fresh fish, generous portions! There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 artisanal spaghettoni all'amanteana and 2 paccheri, both exceptional, especially the spaghetti. Then we continued with 2 slices of grilled swordfish, 1 grilled cuttlefish, 1 tuna with Tropea onion and 2 mixed salads, superlative tuna! A bottle of white wine, 2 bottles of water, 1 pistachio tiramisu and 2 coffees to finish for €45 per person. Top price for the quality of the dishes! Friendly service. Unfortunately I only have the photo of the tuna and the dessert. We ended up at one of the most beautiful tables, in the corner with a view of the sea and the sunset. Even after years it is still the best!

12/08/2024: Guest for dinner, the place is enchanting, impeccable table service, the dishes well prepared and balanced, the bill is in line with what was previously written.
22/03/2024: We were not lucky enough to see the rooms, but I would like to say that the place is worth a visit, both for the view and for the cuisine. When we manage to go on holiday, at least one evening is already set at the CLARISSE. GOOD

27/08/2024: Attirati dalla bella posizione ci fermiamo, io e mia moglie, in questo ristorante con vista sul mare che, però, non abbiamo potuto ammirare a causa della pioggia e dell' oscurità, in quanto era sera. Ad accoglierci il titolare del locale, affabile e gentile ed il suo valido cameriere, simpatico e professionale. Abbiamo assaggiato una serie di antipasti, ovviamente a base di pesce, caldi e freddi, i quali, pur rispettando la tradizione calabrese, si presentavano con un tocco di estro, da noi particolarmente gradito. Il piatto migliore è stato, comunque, il polpo alla piastra con cipolle caramellate, consigliato dal titolare e cucinato dalla moglie, chef indiscussa del locale.
