09/11/2025: We were in Calabria for 24 hours, yet we ate at Osteria San Francesco twice. A friend recommended this restaurant to us, and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful and authentic experiences I'll ever remember in this region. The restaurant, run by two brothers, is small but very welcoming. The food is amazing, and Francesco is a truly friendly person. What I also really appreciated was the atmosphere in this restaurant: there are only a few seats, and the people at the various tables chat as if they've known each other forever. 25/09/2025: Fantastic restaurant, excellently cooked and absolutely fresh fish. The staff is exquisite; it's my favorite restaurant every year when I go to the beach. The owner is exceptional both as a person and as a musician; he resembles Gino Paoli, and together with his partner, a Pino lookalike, Daniele, they entertain us with divine music. You eat overlooking the sea. Highly recommended.

12/11/2025: Really nice place! We had crab/shrimp pasta and mixed fried seafood, all the food we ordered was awesome!!! The staffs are very friendly and helpful, I stained my white T-shirt and the staffs helped apply some "magic spray" which helped us wash away the stain very easily after returning to hotel.

No way you can choose one more favourite than the other. Cristian, a most precious and knowledgeable host, courteous and well mannered. The food and the jarred products he prepares are a testament to his culinary passion and his love for wholesome "good - for - you" food. Thank you Cristian, Gianni and ristorante staff.

28/08/2025: It's with regret that I can't leave more than one review, for the wine selection, the sandwiches, the fried foods, and the food. Everything is WONDERFUL. Not to mention the hospitality and kindness of the owner and his family, wonderful people with whom it's a real pleasure to chat. Worthy of note: spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and shrimp, and the breaded fetta sandwich—handmade, not the industrial junk they dish out at other places. I'm just sorry that my work stint in Paola will soon take me away from here, because it would have been my favorite place.

14/10/2025: I visited this restaurant, the location is great, the staff is helpful and friendly. The food is a bit salty for me, I didn't get the taste I expect in a restaurant, and the price is a bit too high for the taste.

12/10/2025: Very poor dishes; paying 28 euros for 40 grams of spaghetti with lobster is really a lot!! The appetizer was very simple and disappointing.

21/10/2025: We recently visited this place. The mussels were excellent...the seafood scialatielli were delicious...the desserts were also good. Perhaps I would have served the octopus in a concave dish and with a thicker mashed potato. The waiters were very friendly, helpful, and kind. The prices were perhaps a little high...overall, a positive experience. I recommend this place.
