02/11/2024: Nice place along the main street of Venafro. We had an aperitif but they simply brought the drink. When we asked for peanuts they brought us a small bag but no snacks. Without infamy and without praise.

25/08/2024: Il posto è bellissimo, assolutamente nulla da dire, forse il più bello d'Isernia. Sono stato qui molte volte. Pizza qualità media. Carne eccellente, tra le migliori della zona a un prezzo giusto. Baccalà super, consiglio all'isernina. Primi piatti buonissimi. Peccato che ora fanno solo un panino, prima nel menu avevano più scelta di panini. Servizio carente, una pecca, ma migliorabile, sono distratti e per il livello del locale non va. Se non aumenta i prezzi e continua ad avere questa qualità, il servizio mediocre passa inosservato. Comunque rivengo sempre con piacere

20/08/2024: Mai stato ad Isernia, e mai stato in questo caratteristico e storico locale. Corridoi e sale ovunque, magnifico, tutto nella pietra. Mi hanno parlato, altri ospiti, di un magnifico giardino ma avendo piovuto nel pomeriggio non ci si poteva stare, sarà per la prossima volta. Buonissima la pizza, mia moglie che è celiaca finalmente ha trovato la “sua pizza”. Cordiali già dalla telefonata per la prenotazione, che consiglio vivamente di fare. Ieri ed era lunedì, locale strapieno, Vi erano moltissimi locali e tanti come noi, semplici turisti, ciò vorrà pur dire qualcosa. Il signor Antimo, proprietario, gentile e cortese. Ho visto l’esposizione delle carni, mangerò la brace la prossima volta; fornitissima la cantina, vini regionali dei migliori 👏👏. Prezzi più che normali, anzi, oserei da normali a bassi. In 4, e mangiato 5 pizze di cui celiaca, birra Coca-Cola e acque, solo € 63,00. Eccellente 💪 Davvero da ritornarci e assolutamente da consigliare.

30/11/2024: Staff lacking in presence, education and behavior. A table set for 3 without even all the glasses, it takes 30 minutes to get two. Ordered the order after a long wait, after an hour not even the bruschetta. We solicit the request and are told "they are in the oven". 10 minutes pass, we ask and are told that they are in the oven and that we have to wait because the restaurant makes us wait on Saturdays, all by a rude waitress with a very unaccommodating tone. If this is the way to manage the pizzeria it's ok but honestly a bad experience.

26/01/2025: There isn't much choice of two restaurants we chose this one I liked the reviews but it was disappointing the owner recommended what you wanted especially the wine the starter of cured meats with slices thinner than a "wafer" the first courses were very expensive plus we arrived at 1.30pm and choosing 2 first courses with wild boar ragù you are told that there is only one person incredulous we opt for another first course the second a shank without flavor very high price I do not recommend it

Rosanna e Vincenzo sono stati due padroni di casa gentilì ed amorevoli che hanno reso veramente speciale la nostra cena. Rosanna una cuoca incredibile in grado di proporre dei piatti della tradizione rivisitati e moderni, Vincenzo un padrone di casa a tutto tondo in grado di coniugare accoglienza e gentilezza a passione cultura del territorio. 29/08/2024: Ci siamo trovati qui a cena su consiglio di persone del posto. Da dove cominciare? - particolarmente interessante il poter passeggiare con la famiglia all’interno delle stalle e poter mungere le mucche - avere una azienda che produce e porta a tavola e che ti permette di comprare i loro prodotti. - personale accogliente e gentile che ti coccola durante tutto il pasto. I piatti: Semplicemente un’esperienza a 5 stelle! Pappa al pomodoro che sa di pomodoro, quello bello succoso e profumato. Prima pasta con zucchine e provolone che si amalgama alla perfezione ad ogni forchettata… Gelato di produzione propria per rinfrescare il palato. Che dire?! Se non sapete dove andare e volete MANGIARE bene e sano, fermatevi, Ne vale la pena Un grazie a Domenico…. Gentile e cortese e pronto ad ogni spiegazione. Angela

27/08/2024: Lovely place, very welcoming and well kept for both adults and children. We have visited it twice and we will definitely be back!!

17/03/2025: We were 9 people, 4 adults and 5 children, one of which was 14 months old. Nothing to say about service, kindness and even speed, nothing about beers, chips and my buffalo burger (even oversized I would say very good and plentiful). The Spanish ham sandwich was also good. The kebabs are much less appreciable. I tried one and left the rest to the kids. Cooked in a hurry I think. With meat, however, they worked well. So overall I'd say good. What I find incomprehensible is charging a cover charge even for the 14 month old baby and for goodness sake with what we paid I would have expected that grappa or coffee would at least be offered. It normally happens. Let's say that there were two small but serious oversights. Which they can fix.

22/11/2024: Good variety of beers to accompany meats, not just anonymous clarets. Good local bread and good pata negra. But you can also find this at the delicatessen. I was disappointed by the skewers which were a little cold and hard and accompanied with cold grilled vegetables which were also out of season. Maybe it was better to grill the fennel in the salad :) Baba so-so.

03/03/2025: Condivido i giudizi positivi delle recensioni che ho letto.Non mi resta che ribadirli.Si mangia molto bene.I piatti sono gustosi e ben cucinati.Ho molto apprezzato la gentilezza e disponibilità della titolare che in sala si prodiga per accontentare i clienti.Lo consiglio vivamente.

02/11/2024: Abbiamo cercato un po’ di recensioni e siamo arrivati al Borgo Antico. Sinceramente mi aspettavo la classica trattoria di paese dove mangiare piatti tipici ecc ma alla fine è stato piuttosto scarno. Per carità, la persona che serve è molto gentile e disponibile, un menù di mare o terra (abbastanza limitato) qualche specialità scritta alla lavagna ma dà l’idea di un locale arrangiato con pochi tavoli e sedie. Alcuni dolci fatti in casa altri industriali. Prezzi non modesti.

14/03/2025: I stopped for 2 coffees (one with a teaspoon of anise) service and staff were not very attentive in addition to the terrible quality of the coffee. I paid Eur 4.50.
