07/09/2025: I wanted to eat out on Sunday 07/09/25. I searched on Google for restaurants in San Salvo and read excellent reviews with attached photos on this restaurant (La Cascina). I decided to go there. Excellent cuisine, generous portions, excellent menu and honest prices. Courteous staff, very close to the San Salvo Marina seafront and the Adriatic state road 16.

14/09/2025: We visited this ice cream shop several evenings and tried several flavors (the pistachio and figs were excellent). Exceptional ice cream, tasty, creamy! It also doesn't leave you feeling thirsty like the excess sugar in regular ice cream. The cones' wafers are also delicious. We ate authentic products, prepared simply yet deliciously, showcasing the excellent local produce. We recommend everyone try this restaurant located in the center of Campobasso. 13/09/2025: My partner and I spent four days at this splendid agriturismo nestled in the countryside of upper Molise during the third week of August. Perched atop a hill, you can admire the landscape towards San Salvo Marina, with its stretch of coast, and the hinterland towards the Apennines. Caterina and Michele made us feel right at home and offered us a taste of their region's typical products. All this was complemented by the presence of three wonderful dogs and two cats who kept us company during our stay. The friendliness, service, typical local products, and the facilities (rooms, garden, and pool) were fantastic. Highly recommended for a few relaxing days immersed in the Molise region. We'll try to come back at least to say hello.

11/09/2025: I stayed with Caterina and Michele for five days to relax. They were both super friendly and looked after me like I was family. The food was fantastic. I'll be back with my wife in Manchester sometime.

24/08/2025: We returned after two years, the place has been completely renovated and therefore we must first of all make a great compliment to the authors of this splendid "facelift". The place is beautiful, furnished with great taste and elegance. The cuisine has always been excellent and we had yet another confirmation of this, excellent food, genuine products, a great variety of quality wines, excellent staff, highly recommended.

29/08/2025: She found this place online. It's not a touristy place, it's small, but it offers delicious street food. Large, generously filled sandwiches with local ingredients. The owner is kind and helpful. We had two sandwiches, a beer, and an iced tea, for 15 euros.

21/08/2025: A true hidden gem! This snack bar, run by a senior citizen, has it all: simplicity, authenticity, and cuisine made with heart. We tried the pampanella sandwich, and it was simply divine, tasty, and generous. The place doesn't look like much, with its two benches and a table outside, and a few tables inside, but that's precisely what makes it so charming: no frills, just good food and a sincere welcome. The server is remarkably kind, always with a smile, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. An unpretentious place, but not to be missed if you love good homemade sandwiches. I'll definitely go back before leaving!
