28/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant today and was impressed: I enjoyed the tacos I ate and found the staff very helpful and friendly, despite the fact that they were understaffed for the number of customers, which meant orders took a while to process. I'll return, but maybe avoid Sundays.

18/10/2025: For dinner on Saturday, we ordered meat and fries. The meat arrived after 10 minutes, and we waited for the fries, which never arrived despite asking the waiters several times. They were very polite and smiling, but the fries never arrived. We left practically hungry, and they didn't even apologize.

03/08/2025: A well-maintained restaurant with parking and two dining rooms, one indoors and one spacious outdoors with a wooden gazebo. The menu is varied, and dishes, such as sandwiches, are excellent, and there are also gluten-free options. Meat is a local specialty, sourced directly from the butcher counter at the back of the dining room. Service is good and fast, with friendly and helpful staff. Prices are lower than average for this type of restaurant.

21/10/2025: Disappointing experience. We were three adults and a child: the dining room was unbearably hot (lucky I managed to open a window). The young waiter was the only positive—kind, quick, and attentive. The food, unfortunately, was below average: cold dishes, bland flavors, and not very "Mexican." It's a shame, because the portions weren't bad. We also had a small mix-up with a waitress who, despite her explanations, didn't understand our request. When I tried to speak to her in Spanish to help her, she rudely replied, "I only speak Italian!" and walked away. Fortunately, the young man intervened and resolved the situation. At the cash register, I witnessed an unpleasant scene: the owner (I presume) rudely treating a customer simply because he complained about a bone on his plate. Final bill: €89, definitely too much for the quality and service received. A real shame: with a little more courtesy and really hot and tasty dishes, it could be a whole different story.

13/11/2025: I have friends waiting for me inside with a table reservation. I show up at the door and they tell me, "If you don't tell me the name of the reservation, I can't let you in." When friends tell you, "We've booked a table, we'll wait for you," you rarely ask your friends what the table's name is, you walk in, find your friends, and sit down... it's not a 5-star Michelin restaurant, it's an Irish pub. Table service, we ask for a dish from the menu but without peppers. It's agreed. Then, a new order, the same dish without peppers..."Sorry, I can't" 🧐. And here the 5-star Michelin restaurant has gone quite far.

17/09/2025: We found this pizzeria practically by accident while we were on our way somewhere else. It was a Thursday evening, completely deserted, but we were in a hurry and went in. The pizza and sangria were really good. The sangria was better than the ones we drank last year in both Barcelona and Valencia. Honestly, we were surprised there was no one there; back in Veneto, it would always be crowded. What can I say? Move to our place, you won't regret it; stop trying to make ends meet in Messina.

20/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was courteous, but the food didn't quite meet our expectations. We struggled to swallow the Mexican dish, and the next day... let's just say our stomachs definitely had something to complain about. It's a shame, we expected better. We hope for a future improvement.

Four of us arrived around 9 pm, and even though we hadn't booked, they kindly seated us. Unfortunately, we received our dishes over an hour later. The sliced ​​beef was cooked as requested and very good. Prices were average.

07/09/2025: Four of us arrived on Saturday evening, around 9 pm, without a reservation. When we asked for a table, the place wasn't full, but after a short wait, they seated us. After about a quarter of an hour's wait, the girl came to take our orders, and that was the first problem: a picanha, no, a ribeye, no, I ordered pork ribs, no... Moral of the story: three cuts of steak and a chicken breast. They could have easily warned us in advance what wasn't available, since three-quarters of the cuts offered weren't there! The drinks arrived after another 20 minutes or so, then nothing... the food arrived over an hour after we ordered, a sign that they're severely understaffed in both the kitchen and the dining room, or they're just not used to having more people than usual, I don't know. The place was still 3/4 full, there must have been about forty of us, not 200 of us. Anyway, the quality of the dishes we ordered was very good, the meats cooked as requested and done well. The only negative, but personal, note is that I hate the cast iron griddle when serving them. The meat definitely stays hot, but it becomes cooked underneath if you don't eat it quickly, but that's just my personal opinion. Generous portions, including your choice of fries or salad. I'm sorry, and I later explained it to the girl who took our order. My reaction was a bit out of place, and I'm sorry. Obviously, I wasn't mad at her, but she rightly did what she could with what she had, practically taking care of the entire room by herself. Fair prices

14/11/2025: From someone who has lived in Mexico and loves tacos above all else (other than cats): best “cool” Mexican food I’ve had in Italy. I wasn’t impressed by the churros/churros dips or the cheese (so definitely go for the tacos, not quesadillas), and no, it’s not Mexico, but the tortillas are good as are the various toppings. The prices… yeah, exaggerated (we spent €50 for a few tasters and then filled up with a margherita pizza elsewhere), but honestly, tell me where to find good tacos for cheap. Service was discreet but very polite. The music wasn’t annoyingly loud (even on a Friday night) and its cozy both inside and outside in the piazza. Gracias!

31/07/2025: I tried contacting Pizzeria Family to ask simple questions about the menu and opening hours, but the experience was truly awful. The person who answered the phone was rude, rushed, and decidedly unhelpful. I asked normal questions as an interested customer, and was dismissed with brusque responses and a truly unpleasant tone, almost as if I were a nuisance. I expected a modicum of courtesy and professionalism, but instead I found myself speaking to someone who seemed annoyed by my call. If this is how they treat customers before they even enter the pizzeria, I can't imagine the rest of the service. This kind of attitude, repeated over time, can really drive customers away. It's unfortunate to say, but with a welcome like that, it's hard to even want to try a pizza.

17/07/2025: I visited this restaurant recently and, unfortunately, I have to report a significant problem: the heat was unbearable. The clerk, visibly sweating with beads of water on her forehead as she prepared the orders, was a noticeable detail, especially in a restaurant with an open kitchen. The only solution was a fan, but I wonder if it's really legal to have a fan running in a food preparation area: dust, hygiene, and safety should come first. It's a shame, because the food wasn't bad, but such a hot, unhygienic environment ruins the experience. I hope they do something about it, because adequate air conditioning or better ventilation would make the experience much more pleasant (and hygienic!).

25/09/2025: The pub has a large parking lot in front of the entrance, but I think the owners should ask the authorities to install a pedestrian crossing or a traffic light because, unfortunately, cars speed along that road, and you have to be very careful. The place is beautiful, surrounded by greenery and has plenty of outdoor space. The interior is also all wood and beautifully decorated. As for the food, there's a lot to choose from, which is probably why the service is a bit slow... the pizza is good, as are the panuozzi, all without too many expectations for a dinner with friends!

20/07/2025: On Saturday 12/07 I took the family to eat at this restaurant, unfortunately a negative experience, mainly the food was inadequate and some things were unpresentable, the place in general a bit dirty and the prices absolutely not appropriate, a bit too much for what we ate... the only positive thing was the kindness and politeness of the owner... and to say that we had already been there three times but we had to change our minds...

15/03/2025: A farewell to , which is closing today, March 13, 2025, a historic venue in the area. More or less everyone has been there.

06/03/2025: Delicious and distinctive food, a location worth discovering...it's just a shame it's closing soon. You have until June to enjoy it!
