06/04/2024: Very friendly staff especially towards children, excellent food!!

31/03/2024: Family tradition of Easter lunch at Lovise Trattoria. Enjoyed another one this year. Food was good, but something was off. Grilled steak was on the fixed price €65 menu, but the fireplace in the kitchen was not burning anything. Strange? I’m also pretty sure my 8 and 11 year olds did not eat €65 worth of food. No price reduction for the smaller kids. I guess it might be a way to discourage parents from bringing their smaller children so more adults benefit? They called me three times to confirm my reservation. We sat upstairs as almost every year, but a room full of ~140 people heats up fast and no one was inclined to open any windows. It actually became uncomfortably warm. Italians are afraid of drafts so they would rather suffer in heat than risk colpa d’aria. This was the least special Easter lunch for us and we’ve had more than six here. Hope this is not the beginning of a downward trend.

19/04/2024: We really enjoyed this place! Great pizza and wine, great service, nice and fun atmosphere, and in an interesting neighborhood. The vegan pizza was excellent (and other pizzas can be veganized by declining the cheese) and I chose the option to get who,e grain dough (integrale). The house red wine was really good. Great place!

27/04/2024: It deserves 5 stars for every aspect: very well-kept place, very kind staff and superlative food. The asparagus risotto I tried was truly excellent and with a very generous portion. My wife tried the ravioli filled with asparagus sautéed with bacon: very good. Stopping here was a great choice. We'll be back!

03/04/2024: What a nice hidden gem in Vicenza. Absolute must if you like liver (Fegato). Great cosy atmosphere, great service, great food, effectively plated. Go there!
