26/01/2025: Probably not the best place for dinner, the atmosphere is too nice) however for a lunch- perfect!! The food was incredibly delicious!!! The venison steak was so tender , the tiramisu - probably the best I’ve ever had.
23/01/2025: Having to stay in the area for work, we went to this place several times. The environment is very comfortable, warm and well cared for. The staff are available and at the customer's service. We ate both cuisine and pizza. All excellent dishes. The service was always very quick. Overall only positive experiences. 13/01/2025: We stopped at Rifugio Capanna Tondi for lunch during a day of skiing, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food was outstanding – the lamb chops were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, while the prawn gnocchi was fresh and incredibly delicious.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group with ease, ensuring we all felt welcome and well taken care of. On top of that, the views from the restaurant were simply breathtaking, making the whole meal even more memorable.
Whether you’re skiing or just exploring the area, Rifugio Capanna Tondi is a must-visit spot. Great food, fantastic service, and stunning scenery – highly recommend!
30/12/2024: The location of the refuge is enchanting with a view of the Ampezzo Dolomites. The staff is attentive and kind: a special mention for Eugenio who served us on the terrace. The menu offers typical dishes of the area, for example eggs, potatoes and speck, the mountaineer's dish (grilled polenta, mushrooms, sausage, cheese), spätzli with Gorgonzola fondue, etc. All very good, however the price is also adequate for the offer.

Milano style chicken breast was deep fried and heavy.
Beef cheeks was very tender; personally, I liked it more after I added a bit of the salt.
Spaghetti with clams was decent.
29/09/2024: We arrived late, but when we contacted them, they welcomed us warmly with a smile. The dishes were seafood grill, vòngole, and seafood pasta, all of which were really delicious, and I was impressed by the very kind service, even wearing an apron to keep my clothes clean. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and filled my stomach and soul, making it a wonderful memory of my trip. thank you very much. If you are going to Cortina d'Ampesso, this is a store you should definitely visit. I highly recommend it!

09/02/2025: The restaurant is located at the beginning of the town center of Cortina. Once inside, the staff welcomes you with courtesy and professionalism. The rooms are large and well lit. I was able to taste both cuisine and pizza. This last one I must say is really very good. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area.

13/12/2024: Desde que llegamos al restaurante se siente un ambiente muy bonito. El servicio por parte del personal es muy bueno, siempre fueron muy amables. La comida estuvo increíble y el tiempo de espera fue bastante corto, lo cual suma puntos. Pedimos pizzas y ambas estuvieron memorables. De postre pedimos un tiramisú que estuvo glorioso. Una experiencia bastante agradable sin duda alguna

Noi abbiamo parcheggiato nel parcheggio ampio a poco da questo posto anche perché parcheggio vicino non ce n'è.
Accolti subito con molta cordialità vi hanno fatto accomodare proprio all'ingresso ma comunque in una parte molto carina ed intima tutta di legno.
La signora che ci ha servito (sarda)davvero brava anche con il mio piccolo bimbo.. sapeva come comportarsi.. il pizzaiolo gli ha fatto portare una pizza con le orecchie..tutto molto bello,curato nel servizio e complimenti per la gestione. La pizza dal gusto sardo con salsiccia e pecorino davvero ottima

26/01/2025: Appena entri ti senti come a casa, la signora è gentilissima e ti tratta benissimo, la pizza è ottima, anzi la migliore di cortina al 100% il pizzaiolo Salvatore è di Napoli ed è un bravissimo collega, il cibo è ottimo, abbondante e tutto casereccio, ma sopratutto i prezzi sono giusti rispetto alla media di Cortina dove ormai tutti i ristoranti sono diventati turistici e si sono abituati a fregare le persone, torniamo a cortina ogni anno e sicurante da ora in poi verremo sempre qui, bravissimi e complimenti, saluti da Taranto.
26/01/2025: Atendimento ruim, apenas uma garçonete para atender uma quantidade de mesas que ela não conseguia. Não falam inglês. A pizza, mediana.

05/01/2025: Giovedì 2 gennaio abbiamo deciso di andare a mangiare una pizza in 7 persone e due cani EDUCATI,abituati a frequentare locali pubblici ovunque . Il titolare ha fatto accomodare i proprietari del cane di taglia media, mentre hanno mandato via in maniera arrogante i proprietari del cane di taglia grande. È inammissibile che nel 2025 ci sia ancora questa discriminazione verso i cani grandi , considerando che Cortina è una località frequentata da turisti che mediamente hanno un cane. Sconsiglio vivamente il posto a proprietari di cani. Fortunatamente IO non ero presente…ma c’era solo la mia compagna
Tanto più che fuori non c’è nemmeno il cartello di divieto di ingresso di cani.
UNA VERGOGNA… E BUONE OLIMPIADI!!
Si capisce perché poi la gente preferisce il Trentino..

Ci sediamo al tavolo e arriva la cameriera, noi chiediamo il menù e ci viene risposto: sono io il menù ditemi..e automaticamente ci elenca solamente la lista dei piatti. Prendiamo 3 hamburger (da precisare senza pane) con patatine e 1 cotoletta con patatine 4 coca cola e 2 caffè. Spendiamo una cifra esorbitante . Inoltre gli hamburger ci vengono presentarti crudi. Li abbiamo fatti ricucinare. La sera in centro a Cortina per cenare spendiamo la metà. Da segnalare
01/01/2025: Ci sediamo e chiediamo dei menu, la cameriera decide invece di elencarci a voce i pasti rimasti, tra questi un semplice hamburger con patatine fritte (solo hamburger senza pane, formaggio,
insalata o altro), che alcuni di noi decidono di ordinare. Arriva l'hamburger. Carne ok, niente di speciale, stessa cosa le patatine (d'altronde siamo a pranzo in un semplice rifugio e non in uno stellato, quindi l'aspettativa non è altissima). Alla cassa la sorpresa: l'hamburger costava 26€.
Siamo alla follia più totale, perfino per gli standard di Cortina.
