30/03/2024: It was the first time but I think it will be one of the many times I come here. Impeccable service, very attentive to customers, kindness and friendliness. Unfortunately I have the problem of having to eat gluten-free, but here it wasn't a problem, my every wish was satisfied. In other places I have always felt like a burden, here it seemed normal to please the customer and be ready to prepare the food in a gluten free version. Space carbonara!!!! The spaghetti with clams and bottarga is very delicate but at the same time tasty. The dessert closes the dinner perfectly. What can I say, thank you for your availability and the wonderful experience

13/03/2024: Nella splendida Verona, un ristorante situato a fianco dell'omonimo Teatro. Tavoli distanziati, bella apparecchiatura con comodi portaposate, ambiente di sobria eleganza. Menù non vastissimo ma accattivante, con portate non banali, curate e ben presentate. Ho assaggiato diversi piatti, tutti molto equilibrati e con grande cura delle materie prime. Ottimi il lesso, la guancia (che si scioglieva in bocca) ed il coniglio in tecia. Lista dei vini ampia, unico neo forse ricarichi un tantino alti. Comunque nel complesso rapporto qualità-prezzo buono, del resto la qualità si paga. Servizio attento e discreto. Sono veramente stupito che il locale non fosse pieno, ma egoisticamente meglio così visto che non avevamo prenotato. Se torno a Verona una visita qui sarà d'obbligo

10/03/2024: I ate in this restaurant on a Saturday evening with my girlfriend, given that we were passing through and without a reservation, two very kind and friendly guys welcomed us, they accommodated us immediately and from there we asked for the menu, it presents an excellent choice from starter up to dessert, the dishes I tried were exquisite, the service from the guys was really classy and very professional and the bill was in line with what we ordered, I tasted 2 types of wine, requested on the guy's recommendation and very skilfully was able to advise me despite my difficult taste in wines, I am fully satisfied and I am sure that I will return when I return to this wonderful city, I would also add that the place is very elegant but not pretentious... I highly recommend it, thanks again for the magnificent evening. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended

09/05/2024: A wonderful dining experience in Verona at Ristorante Maffei, located in the historic Palazzo Maffei which dates back to the 15th century, it also houses a museum. Food was excellent, even the bread and tomato butter was yummy.

10/05/2024: Nice restaurant, clean and tidy environment. The food is really good, good food, the meat is good and tender, they make a cod that is worth trying, the game is also excellent. Excellent wine cellar, the sommeliers are knowledgeable and kind. Friendly and professional staff. The price is worth the quality.

28/04/2024: We have been frequenting this wonderful place for several years and even last night it exceeded our expectations, a warm welcome from both the owner Stefano and our friend Marianna The truffle risotto was sublime, not to mention the tartare, the lamb ribs, and the fillet, all excellent including the service.

27/03/2024: Today for lunch, my husband, my son and I had lunch in this beautiful restaurant. Very friendly staff and spectacular food from starters to desserts. 03/04/2024: Arrived at this delightful restaurant thanks to word of mouth from a friend, what can I say... a wonderful surprise, varied menu with lake fish and sea fish, all fabulous, dishes cooked and presented in an excellent manner, absolutely honest prices and impeccable service I recommend it to anyone for family lunches or dinners (we were celebrating a birthday) or for couples or work, very intimate and beautiful internal room, room with lake view... no need to comment on it!!!😍go there and try it and you will definitely come back !!!

01/05/2024: I'm updating the review almost a year later after returning for dinner. They are all truly excellent: self-confident, professional and courteous in the dining room, very competent in the kitchen. The four of us got up from the table at the end of dinner after three courses each and we were all fine. Heartfelt congratulations indeed. ******************************************** Sunday lunch for 4. Old village tavern which has maintained some characteristic details such as the paneling on the walls and the Venetian terrazzo tiles on the floor. Clean and tidy environment, including the bathroom. Young, professional, courteous, zealous service. Well made food, not greasy, very well assorted menu, from starters to desserts. Portions of the dishes in some cases a little skimpy: a few more potato ravioli would fit, 3 pieces are a bit small, maybe 5 wouldn't be bad, given that the rosoline filling was very good... Anyway, well done everyone, in kitchen and living room. Finally a place where you can eat well close to home! Long live Osteria da Jodo!

07/05/2024: On the way back from Padua, exiting Soave, we stopped for lunch, a pleasant surprise, a starter of sautéed prawns, calamari with fennel, truly delicious. Second we had Vicentina-style cod, very good, good flavor and very delicate. Strictly Soave white wine, good, not bad, very kind waiters, restaurant not large but tastefully furnished, I would say beautiful.

06/04/2024: Great place tucked away from the crowds. The balcony overlooks stunning views of Lake Garda. Views are breathtaking whilst eating lovely food. The service was great. Waitors were very friendly and attentive. We would come back here when we visit Malcesine again!

23/02/2024: A beautiful Italian slow food restaurant. The menu is not so big, but the offer is very nice. The "0km" dishes are especially highlighted, which means that all stands of dishes are from the surrounding area without any imported or commercial ingredients. Taste of the food is traditional, but the preparation is modern. Service as befits a fancy restaurant. Educated waiters, special praise for deboning superbly grilled fish in front of guests.
