10/10/2025: I cant believe the service in this place! We ordered aprol and beer, took them 40 mins toget it even after asking for it couple of times! Also they billed us twice for that.
The rest of the food had different quality, some very good and some over cooked.. overall for expensive dinner it was disapointing
07/10/2025: We had the apéritovo at Febo. Very cozy alleyway where you can sit and enjoy.
They have a decent selection of classic cocktails - great to whet the appetite. We got a small snack alongside it as well.

01/10/2025: On a pleasant terrace at the foot of Orvieto's cathedral. Excellent food, pleasant and welcoming service and a very reasonable price.
19/09/2025: Amazing experience! The best food we had during our trip in Italy. Exceptional service from Riccardo. We went twice during our stay in Orvieto and hope to be back soon.

13/10/2025: If I could, I'd add more... I really had a wonderful time, pampered by Emiliano the chef and his assistant. The food was excellent, the soft truffle omelette was sublime. Thanks guys, keep it up.
07/10/2025: It's telling when the only tourists were us.
Hyper local, small menu, delicious food. The chef came out to chat to people at the end of service. It's old school dining rooms. The barbazza was sensational, and the guinea fowl was a great surprise.
Affordable as well. Will be back.

07/10/2025: I have never been turned away from a restaurant from being a tourist but was here. Walked by one day and saw the restaurant full of locals. Figured it must be good. I inquired about a reservation was told 'we are only open for lunch'. SO I asked if I could reserve for lunch (had not even given the guy a date). His curt response was 'we are booked every day for at least a week, sorry'. I could tell he was not being honest since he wouldn't make eye contact. Look elsewhere if you speak English!
10/09/2025: We had a wine testing accompanied by a series of small bites. Everything (the food and the wines) were excellent. A great deal too.

12/10/2025: Very nice place in the center of Orvieto good food but the tourist menu mode (drinks and cover charge excluded) makes it a bit "manual" of the type come on eat pay and go we need the table 😅 (I understand) anyway a good place to eat something in the streets of the center 👍

The manager is very friendly, and I'm happy to stop for a coffee (the 8:00 one...) on my way to work in the area.

08/10/2025: I was at La Palma Restaurant in Orvieto, Italy. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food left something to be desired.
24/08/2025: ...passing by for a pilgrimage, what can I say: we were treated wonderfully!!! We arrived at 4:30 pm with the chef just turning off the kitchen lights...excellent food, good service, no frills (bucatini all'amatriciana, tripe truly sublime)...the owner was very friendly...in a word, "essential"....I highly recommend it. Greetings to the whole crew.

12/10/2025: Friendly waiter... Very long wait, despite there being very few customers. The bruschetta appetizer wasn't bad. The pasta was almost raw, the wild boar ragù was full of oil, flavorless, and even a bit tough—nothing like wild boar ragù. The sliced pork loin with lard was fine. Umbrians are very good at making porchetta, but if they'd seen that, they wouldn't have even tried it. Don't order the house wine. At the end, the guy at the cashier gives you the bill without even apologizing or offering a discount.
06/08/2025: We went to this place by chance.
We ordered ravioli, tagliolini with mushrooms, and for the child, cutlet and fries. The ravioli were 6. 14 euros for six ravioli. They were supposed to have crispy bacon, but instead the bacon was soggy and terribly greasy and salty. The dog ate it. For the second course, we asked for fish. We finished it. Basically, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 dessert, water, and 1 glass of wine, 70 euros. Never again.

14/05/2025: Very positive experience.
I booked a table for 4 from Milan on the anniversary of my dear friends, asking for a little surprise for them, as soon as we arrived we found a small bouquet of fresh flowers on the table. The food was truly exquisite and 100% recommended. Thanks to the managers for their kindness.
21/04/2025: It is no longer Lu Frigu but, where Lu Frigu was, the Bosco del Velino has moved which until recently was Campacci di Marmore. The place is neither beautiful nor spacious, it is difficult to park your car except in front of the nearby condominiums whose owners, probably with good reasons, are protesting bitterly.
But the food is quite good, traditional Terni dishes, I would say top quality ingredients. The service is quite nice. Honest prices.
