02/01/2025: The staff is very kind and helpful. The toilets are not suitable for disabled people. The à la carte menu is sufficiently varied, with fish and meat dishes. The wine by the glass is the house wine, the white is a little lively, but then they serve me a local white, Baia del sole. We start with a warm seafood salad, €13, good and rich; let's start well! I move on to a plate of pici with clams, bottarga, lemon scent (€14), too bad the pici were way, way behind cooking (confirmed by the kitchen) and I don't finish them. A grilled sea bream €17 (which has dried out a bit, to be generous...) with grilled vegetables €5 (courgettes a little less than raw). Finished the dinner with a good creme brulee €6. Unfortunately, the homemade bread was chewy. Cover charge €2, water €2, glass of wine €4. In the end the €65 pre-bill arrives, but the receipt arrives only upon express request. Gluten-free: a rosette with cover, then they can serve gluten-free pasta (standard formats) and fried fish, with corn flour.

30/11/2024: Personale molto gentile. Servizi igienici non idonei per disabili. Il menù alla carta è sufficientemente vario, con piatti di pesce e di carne. Il vino al calice è quello della casa, il bianco un po' mosso, ma poi mi servono un bianco del territorio, Baia del sole. Iniziamo con un'insalata di mare tiepida, 13€, buona e ricca; cominciamo bene! Passo a un piatto di pici con vongole, bottarga, profumo di limone (14€), peccato che i pici erano moooolto indietro di cottura (confermato dalla cucina) e non li finisco. Un'orata alla griglia 17€ (che si è un po' asciugata, per essere generosi...) con verdure alla griglia 5€ (zucchini poco meno che crudi). Chiuso la cena con una buona crema catalana 6€. Il pane fatto in casa purtroppo risultava gommoso. Coperto 2€, acqua 2€, calice di vino 4€. Alla fine arriva il pre-conto 65€, ma lo scontrino arriva solo su espressa richiesta. Senza glutine: una rosetta con il coperto, poi possono servire la pasta senza glutine (formati standard) e il fritto di pesce, con farina di mais.

02/07/2025: What really makes the difference here, in this lovely, charming and gourmet restaurant, is the friendly, relaxed , and versatile atmosphere, capable to adapt to all kinds of styles, taste, culinary demands. As two fish enthusiasts, we have been dining at Ciccio's for over a decade; as language trainers, we have organized some real cool and educational events, and it's always been a success. 20/07/2025: Having visited Colonnata, I must say I was disappointed... in some areas it is rundown and poorly maintained... shame... but I appreciated the free shuttle service... let's get back to the review of this restaurant which is located in the central square right at the shuttle stop... the dishes are not exceptional but good, the lard I ate was good... the service was slow, too slow in my opinion, they need more staff at the tables and in the kitchen... the two waitresses there do the impossible, really good... the organization needs re-evaluating... and I repeat, they need more staff... the menu you find on the noticeboard outside does not correspond with what they bring to the tables... and if you ask, believe me, you will be disappointed... the prices are average but the place with its outdoor veranda overlooking the square makes it pleasant to taste the dishes... but I was more disappointed by Colonnata with all the marble that the town has in some alleys it is unsightly, dilapidated abandoned houses, uneven driveways....

02/06/2025: Since the establishment we always go to is closed, my boyfriend and I decide at the last minute to go into this establishment, to have lunch and stop on the beach, a sunbed and two umbrellas for 35 euros and ok it's not a problem, it's ok, a restaurant set up as a hot food restaurant, a queue that's unbelievable but ok one thinks that the food is good since there's a queue so you do it, you stay at the beach and that's ok it's ok, it's ok, our turn comes and my boyfriend asks for a portion of spaghetti allo scoglio and they are given spaghetti with mussels and pecorino cheese, being allergic to cheese I eat them myself, ok cold, lots of oil but still edible, it was 2pm we were hungry, the nice piece arrives with the spaghetti with clams that they cook on request and the mixed fried fish, the spaghetti with clams were burnt and I'm not joking, clams and burnt garlic, smell and taste of burnt inedible in fact they remained intact, mixed fried fish that didn't taste of fish but of fried oil from the morning or from I don't know how long ago inedible in fact they remained intact In fact, if you want to go there on personal experience avoid eating there because the food is really terrible. We spent 55 euros for lunch, stolen money!

28/05/2025: Locale molto carino con ampia scelta di piatti, sia pesce che carne. Una particolare attenzione alle intolleranze alimentari (nel mio caso senza glutine). Cibo buono e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Fritto di calamari buono ma panatura un po' troppo secca. L'unica nota negativa è stata l'attesa tra una portata e l'altra....troppo lunga. Magari è stato un caso.... Nel complesso esperienza positiva, da ripetere se mi dovessi trovare ancora in quella zona.
