10/02/2025: I would like to evaluate the seriousness of the place more than anything else. I came looking for work as a waiter, sent to talk to the owner by a relative of his, promising me a job trial, and that they would make themselves heard, the owners often complained about the guys who don't want to work on Saturdays and Sundays, I arrive through a relative of his, recommended by him, and I am totally ignored as if with a snap of the fingers they could find good waiters. Terrible human side on the part of the owners, I don't recommend it, the first thing in a dining room team is friendliness, I don't know how to eat, but it all starts from the service, and I received a poor welcome both in conversation and in the following days by telephone. He's not the Ciccio everyone talks about. Review: 1 star too much.

02/01/2025: The staff is very kind and helpful.
The toilets are not suitable for disabled people.
The à la carte menu is sufficiently varied, with fish and meat dishes.
The wine by the glass is the house wine, the white is a little lively, but then they serve me a local white, Baia del sole.
We start with a warm seafood salad, €13, good and rich; let's start well!
I move on to a plate of pici with clams, bottarga, lemon scent (€14), too bad the pici were way, way behind cooking (confirmed by the kitchen) and I don't finish them.
A grilled sea bream €17 (which has dried out a bit, to be generous...) with grilled vegetables €5 (courgettes a little less than raw).
Finished the dinner with a good creme brulee €6.
Unfortunately, the homemade bread was chewy. Cover charge €2, water €2, glass of wine €4.
In the end the €65 pre-bill arrives, but the receipt arrives only upon express request.
Gluten-free: a rosette with cover, then they can serve gluten-free pasta (standard formats) and fried fish, with corn flour.

Il menù alla carta è sufficientemente vario, con piatti di pesce e di carne.
Il vino al calice è quello della casa, il bianco un po' mosso, ma poi mi servono un bianco del territorio, Baia del sole.
Iniziamo con un'insalata di mare tiepida, 13€, buona e ricca; cominciamo bene!
Passo a un piatto di pici con vongole, bottarga, profumo di limone (14€), peccato che i pici erano moooolto indietro di cottura (confermato dalla cucina) e non li finisco.
Un'orata alla griglia 17€ (che si è un po' asciugata, per essere generosi...) con verdure alla griglia 5€ (zucchini poco meno che crudi).
Chiuso la cena con una buona crema catalana 6€.
Il pane fatto in casa purtroppo risultava gommoso. Coperto 2€, acqua 2€, calice di vino 4€.
Alla fine arriva il pre-conto 65€, ma lo scontrino arriva solo su espressa richiesta.
Senza glutine: una rosetta con il coperto, poi possono servire la pasta senza glutine (formati standard) e il fritto di pesce, con farina di mais.

12/02/2025: I give 1 star because you can't give ZERO! A very rude and rude person answers the phone, if you want advice don't come to eat in this place which lacks any hygiene and taste standards, we went to eat in this restaurant unfortunately and we all felt bad... the chef probably left school yesterday... to say the least... so be wary of imitations and go elsewhere instead... you will thank me. TOO EXPENSIVE.. AND POOR RAW MATERIAL! Starry menu and then canteen food! to make money and exploit it badly, what a shame!! Leave the restaurant in the hands of those who know more... who perhaps make a better impression.

19/12/2024: About a year ago we went to eat with the company, perhaps thirty people, we started with a sum of thirty-five euros including drinks, we started with the starter which was quite good but already from the first, three tordelli, and four tagliatelle, the cuisine showed the tail, the second course arrives in little pans which in other places would be for two people but here they have to be divided into four, a parmigiana which when you cut it with a fork to share with the others disappears leaving it underneath a layer of air, practically little more than a crouton, arrives the suckling pig with potatoes which, say an inch and four potatoes each, would already be a luxury, those who have gone out to smoke are also left empty-handed,,,while the drinks they are starting to run out, while they should have been to satisfaction. But the best part is at the checkout where we are asked for €50 instead of the agreed upon €35... oh no, beyond insult to injury, sign of the cross upon exit and not see you again, as a good Sardinian I recognize good food and if I eat decently I don't look at the price but here it was just a rip-off. Look for another job, it's not possible to give zero stars, I've already been generous
18/12/2024: Era tempo che non tornavo a Colonnata. Il ristorante Venanzio lo conoscevo e ritornarci è stato come entrare la prima volta.
Tutto perfetto, cucinato con passione e i sapori accattivanti.
Grazie veramente per l'ospitalità!

29/01/2025: Da uno perché non si può dare di meno andato a pranzo con un collega ci viene portato il pane non si riesce a capire che tipologia di pane sia si presenta il cameriere con un presunto menu di lavoro, dopo la nostra scelta, due antipasti di mare caldo, i calamari pieni di sabbia e ancora con nero intorno il mio collega prende degli spaghetti alle vongole e io i pacchetti pistacchio e vongole i gusci tutti vuoti e salatissimi, finito il pranzo pensando che fosse un pranzo di lavoro qui la sorpresa il prezzo è abbastanza elevato mi dispiace, ma in questo locale non torneremo mai più.
09/12/2024: Questo posto è 'ideale per una serata informale ma ricca di attenzioni. Partendo da un'ottima carta dei vini, con molta scelta di vini locali e non. I piatti buonissimi, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Prevalenza di piatti di pesce ma con possibilità di scegliere ottimi piatti di terra.

28/10/2024: non ci sono stata. Era intenzione mia e di mio marito fermarci a mangiare qualcosa in questo ristorante. Nulla di impegnativo. Avevamo visto il locale appena arrivati a Colonnata e dopo un breve giro nei dintorni abbiamo chiesto se era possibile ordinare qualcosa. Due camerieri all'interno del locale (non stavano facendo nulla se non fumare) ci hanno guardato con altezzosità e totale disinteresse per dirci che era tutto prenotato, senza fare alcuna offerta del tipo ma se volete possiamo farvi un panino... od altro. Non mettererò mai più piede in questo locale. manco ci fosse stato un matrimonio ..
20/10/2024: Soddisfacenti i prezzi, ma insoddisfacente il servizio, cameriera fredda e distaccata. Cibo normale, abbiamo preso 2 antipasti e 2 primi.
