05/09/2025: Food was okay, but the service was disappointing. This is the second day in a row I’ve witnessed rudeness from staff: yesterday directed at me, and today at other customers.
At lunch, the restaurant had only three tables to serve, including mine. One table had ordered both appetisers and mains, and when asked if they wanted everything together, they said yes. The waiter first brought the appetisers, then just minutes later also brought the mains. Since the tables are quite small, there was no space for all the plates, and when the guests shrugged, the waiter snapped (in Italian), “And what am I supposed to do?”
Later, when another table was waiting to order, after being reminded by his colleague, he loudly said, “Where did these two appear from?”, again in a rude tone, and loud enough for everyone to hear.
The snapping, rude comments, and assuming no one understood his remarks in Italian really spoiled the experience. The food might be fine, but the service is simply not for me.

30/08/2025: Our visit to this restaurant with four people was unfortunately marked by a disappointing dining experience. Despite our hunger after a long day, the food was inedible. It begs the question how such a restaurant can achieve such a good reputation. Doesn't the owner regret that tourists will certainly not return to this restaurant during their vacation due to such experiences? It seems as if the restaurant owner doesn't care about guest satisfaction with the food. We are very disappointed and cannot recommend the restaurant.
28/08/2025: The place is very good, the food is tasty and beautifully presented. My only surprise was that my gnocchi contained a single spaghetti noodle, but I consider that a minor mistake; other than that, I have nothing to complain about!

14/08/2025: I've had my tent there for years. The area is very quiet, and the restaurant is the best in Versilia. The sea in that area is practically always spectacular, and the service is always warm and friendly.
12/08/2025: The beach is so clean and beautiful, simply amazing.
The food is great value for money and incredibly delicious.
But there are two things I have to criticize: tourists aren't particularly welcome here. At first, they didn't even want to give us an umbrella, let alone a tent. Apparently, they were all sold out, even though most of them were empty that day.
The service is relatively friendly, though, and they tried very hard to speak English.
We were a bit more welcome at the Alhambra; they were also happy that we were there; it had a more intimate feel, which I missed here.
Otherwise, everything was great.

07/07/2025: Il locale è carino, si mangia direttamente sulla spiaggia sotto dei gazebi, con i piedi nella sabbia – dettaglio che può piacere oppure no, a seconda dei gusti.
L’esperienza però è stata deludente. Appena arrivati, abitiamo atteso per essere accomodati al tavolo, poi abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi il menù, perché nessun cameriere si è presentato spontaneamente. Anche per ordinare abbiamo dovuto sollecitare. Ci siamo seduti alle 20:55 e abbiamo aspettato oltre le 22 per ricevere i nostri piatti: una carbonara di mare e una frittura mista.
La carbonara è stata un disastro: spaghetti scotti e sfatti, immersi in un guazzetto insapore, quasi sembrava pasta lavata. Nessuna traccia dell’uovo. L’abbiamo rimandata indietro e, non è stata inserita nel conto, ma non ce la siamo sentiti di aspettare un’altra ora per sostituirla.
La frittura era una porzione piccola e lasciava in bocca una fastidiosa sensazione di unto.
Peccato, perché la location aveva del potenziale. Ma per noi: mai più.

12/09/2025: We've been there twice, and both times they closed before the hours listed on Google. So we never got to try anything. I'm very sorry!

It took a while, even though no one was there before they took our order.
The focaccias were small and not of good quality; they seemed to have been bought at a discount store and were expensive; they weren't worth the price.
2 focaccias, 1 can of Coke, and 1 water €25.50
We won't be back; we were disappointed!
There were a few tables outside on the seafront; they sat us there, burning hot, and the next customers were advised to sit at tables in the small garden inside, which was nicer and had more air.

27/04/2025: Aperitivo vista mare... Un po' costoso ma servizio eccellente e gestori gentili ed educati. Hanno anche due simpaticissimi cagnolini che accolgono le persone con calorosi saluti. Da amante degli animali per me è un valore aggiunto!! Amo coccolare gli animali!
18/04/2025: Appena seduta, ho chiesto un quartino di bianco fermo. E' arrivato ed è stato il peggior vino mai assaggiato. Imbevibile. L'acqua era non gasata, come richiesto, in caraffa, non imbottigliata, ma era buona. Il fritto misto di mare era ottimo ma pochissimo. Più un assaggio che una portata, forse era mezza porzione. Per finire ho chiesto un soufflé al cioccolato. Purtroppo era di quelle industriali che sanno di cartone. Almeno l'interno era caldo e mangiabile. Il tutto mi è costato €30,00. Non ci tornerò più.

Cameriera poco gentile
23/04/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante a Pranzo con la famiglia, io ho preso spaghetti alle vongole e mia moglie paccheri allo scoglio, entrambi i piatti avevano un unico sapore, aglio e basilico ed il pesce era sicuramente surgelato, mio figlio ha preso una pizza che non gli è piaciuta. Dopo frittura, molto "povera" e non un granchè, e calamarata anche questa molto "povera" e con predominanza volgole, di altro pesce veramente poco. I prezzi sono veramente alti e la qualità e la quantità è molto bassa. Capisco che si mangia sul lungomare di Viareggio ma vorrei pagare per un ottimo cibo e non per la "passeggiata". Non lo consiglio
