07/07/2026: We found this place thanks to the excellent reviews on Google Maps, and we can only confirm them. We ordered two first courses (spaghetti with clams, lupini beans, and red tuna bottarga, and spaghetti allo scoglio) and a second course (peppered mussels with tomato sauce). Everything was truly excellent. The prices are average for the island; for two, we spent about €60. Otherwise, the splendid location was the perfect complement to our dinner.
06/07/2026: I don't recommend this place. The food is mediocre and the prices are excessive!
And there's no receipt!

26/07/2026: Without a doubt, the best restaurant we ate at during our vacation. The staff were young and friendly, the fish was fresh, and it was located in a charming village square.
We enjoyed the "zuppa imperiale" (imperial soup) and the grilled fish, expertly explained by the restaurant owner. Generous portions and more than fair prices! Everything was perfect! Thank you for your hospitality!

29/06/2026: The food was delicious, but both of our main courses had a hair in them. The view and the ambiance are very nice. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly friendly—in some cases, even a bit rude, as everyone seemed more preoccupied with their phones than anything else at the beginning.
12/06/2026: A lovely ambiance and a great location for a pleasant dinner. The food was good, but not exceptional. The prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was inattentive, bordering on arrogant rudeness. Apparently, guests who don't speak Italian are unwelcome. This was a negative exception among otherwise very positive experiences at other restaurants in the area.

09/04/2026: I went for dinner two nights in a row because it's very rare to find a place that pays such attention to the ingredients, preparation, service, and hospitality. This family-run restaurant is a real gem. Delicious in every way.

11/07/2026: The food was bad for all four of us, two of them a complete disaster. My pasta was undercooked and so hard we were all speechless that we couldn't believe it could end up on a plate. The calamari was tough and fried in lángos oil like something you'd get at a carnival, and so on and so forth. No one knows why they charge a cover charge (no bread, breadsticks, or anything else included)...! Just don't go there. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes on Elba.
05/07/2026: When we walked in, I wasn't expecting such attentive and friendly service and amazingly tasty and high-quality cuisine. The fried anchovies were a 10. We'll definitely be back.

14/06/2025: Pranzare all'ombra degli alberi nella piazza centrale di Marciana marina merita! Atmosfera conviviale e rilassante. Ottima la cucina e il rapporto qualità prezzo. Eccellente il dolce della casa.
30/05/2025: Il locale è stata una piacevole scoperta. Personale cortese , professionale, attento ad ogni nostra esigenza e cibo sensazionale. Non faccio spesso recensioni ma Vizio Antico merita veramente più di 5 stelle. Siamo stati qui diverse volte , abbiamo mangiato ogni primo presente nel menù (eravamo in 6) e ordinato diversi tipi di schiaccine che secondo noi sono le migliori sull'isola. Ci porteremo a casa un bellissimo ricordo di questo locale, peccato per la distanza (Roma<->Elba non si può fare tutti i giorni!) , 5stelle più che meritate!
