12/05/2024: Today I can't help but give a review with maximum points.
Place without water due to work on the road that severed their water pipe and despite everything excellent service, excellent food and in good times.
Ours was the first time with them and we will return.

12/05/2024: An opportunity to bring together your closest people, to spend a pleasant moment together. The Donnini restaurant offers adequate space, tables set with care and taste, always fresh flowers on each table, large spaces and various rooms in which the annoying echoes of large crowded rooms do not form. We stayed on the veranda: lovely.
The staff, smiling and welcoming, are available and present.
We ate very tasty dishes, well cooked and well presented. We had agreed on the menu with Carla, an excellent and expert hostess, choosing from various vegetarian options (by our choice! The restaurant also offers many meat dishes!) and since it was late spring we had many seasonal products on our side. The risotto with asparagus is excellent, the crunchy artichokes on burrata stracciatella are excellent, the courgette and flower flans are excellent, the delicate gnudi are excellent.
Advised.
08/05/2024: Negative experience, I will definitely not return again. Raw cuddles, let the waiter know and he brought them to me again (slightly better). We had two glasses of wine, which were literally two sips, let the waiter know but he pretended not to hear us. Let's not talk about fried eggs. Stratospheric prices for the quality of the food. On a Friday evening there were only three tables booked including us (I understood why). Definitely not recommended.

31/03/2024: Very nice place, full of colours. Small with few seats but welcoming. Interesting menu, reminiscent of old flavors (tomato soup!) but revisited with quality local products. The ravioli stuffed with Tropea onions are delicious... The desserts are also very good. Courteous staff

18/07/2023: Unfortunately, there isn't an option to take stars for reviews when negatively marking them.
I am not sure why these guys are in the restaurant business. They have no idea on how to cook any dishes.
My wife ordered some pasta with meat sauce on the side. She got her pasta with tomato sauce (and bunch of oil in the sauce) instead.
I ordered a carbonara pasta. Got them oil dipped style. Never have I've seen so much oil for carbonara pasta (see picture attached). Simply disgusting.
For service, they just sit and look at you instead of actually waiting. We were done eating, yet the person that served us was just sitting behind the counter looking at us, instead of coming over to take the plates away.
Atmosphere, I can only describe it as "infernal".
They don't tell you, but sauna is included with your meal.
We were sweating and smoke was coming from the kitchen in the serving area making the air barely breathable. Nobody bothered turning on the AC or ventilation until we asked them to do it.
And after all this terrible service, they do dare to ask 2.50 EUR/person for coperto. So we had to drop like 10 EUR (2 adults and 2 kids) just for sitting in this dungeon. We've been at some much nicer places where coperto was not as much.
Do yourself a service, save your hard earned money and make sure to avoid enterning this place!

24/07/2023: Ich war ein wenig skeptisch, da es sich um ein Hotelrestaurant handelt, jedoch wurden wir vom Gegenteil überzeugt, geschmacklich tolle Speisen, die optisch schön angerichtet waren. Es wurden auch vegane und vegetarische Speisen angeboten. Darüber hinaus sitzt man sehr schön direkt am Fluss.

Les saveurs des plats ne sont pas extraordinaires à mon goût et surtout des qualités très très petites. J ai pris du poisson, et je n avais pas de légumes, juste une sauce et mon mari du veau avec un os énorme, et très peu de légumes ( juste un poivron gris comme un quart d une tomate)
La glace était bonne : trois boules grosses comme une noisette chacune
Le prix est par contre assez cher
Pas à la hauteur des plats
Je n y retournerai pas, dommage
