26/09/2024: My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant specializing in mussel-based dishes. The atmosphere was very informal, we were the only customers in the room, which made the experience calm and relaxed. The waiters, two young guys, were really kind and friendly. We appreciated the quality of the food: I had an appetizer of sweet and sour sardines and a second course of seared tuna with a pistachio crust. My partner, being gluten intolerant, was able to choose from a separate AIC certified menu and ate a plate of clams and one of gluten-free spaghetti with prawns and pistachios. We also shared a caponata as a side dish. Everything was very good. The prices were adequate for the quality of the food and service (74 euros). I would recommend La Cozzeria for family lunches or dinners, as a couple, and also for tourists who are in the area.

21/12/2024: On our way from Palermo to Trapani, tired and hungry, we stopped at this restaurant by accident. Even though they were already hosting a large closed event, they invited us inside, to a terrace protected from the wind and heated. Then it's just a feast of flavors. Mega well presented, with "homely" service. I recommend the seafood risotto, and you could feel the sea in this dish!!!

02/09/2024: This hotel is located in the village of Scopello, offering an excellent location if you want to reach bars, restaurants, and even the Tonnara on foot. If you book a room with a sea view, you will be amazed—this is the most beautiful view I've ever seen from a hotel. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. There are several issues that made our stay less enjoyable. The building is old and desperately needs renovation. In our room, the beds and wardrobes were made of old wood, seemingly from the 1960s. Closing the windows and doors was a challenge because the fixtures were worn out and difficult to manage. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was quite dirty, which is a health concern. The hairdryer in the bathroom was unreliable, working intermittently, which was another disappointment. When visiting Sicily, you expect a wide variety of fresh, local food, but unfortunately, the breakfast (8 euros) did not meet these expectations. The selection was limited to some fruit, store-bought yogurt, a few cakes and croissants. The only highlight was a homemade (I assume) yogurt cake. The service at the hotel left much to be desired. One notable incident occurred when my mother requested an extra bedsheet so we could sleep separately in the two beds provided. The receptionist was visibly unhappy about this request and simply left the sheet on the bed, forcing my mother to make it herself despite being a paying guest. On the second day, we requested a functioning hairdryer as the one in our room was faulty. Instead of apologizing, the same receptionist responded curtly, stating it was the first time someone had complained about it. Eventually, he gave us another hairdryer, although it was also in poor condition. Lastly, during breakfast, an international couple politely asked for scrambled eggs, a common and simple request in hotels worldwide. The staff member informed them that they couldn't prepare scrambled eggs and offered only boiled eggs. This experience was partly disappointing, especially because I am Italian and half Sicilian, so I have some understanding of Sicily’s landscape and culture. It is unfortunate that such a beautiful region does not consistently offer tourists the quality facilities and services they deserve. Too often, it feels like locals expect you to be grateful just for the opportunity to stay in their beautiful region and you have “to make do with what you have”. My advice, especially to international tourists, is to look for better alternatives where you will be welcomed and have all your needs met. Here, you won’t find that experience. Paying €75 per person per night is not worth it, considering all these issues.

01/10/2024: Il locale è carino. Io ho preso un cous cous e mio marito una frittura, le porzioni davvero misere per il prezzo, 16€ per la frittura con 2 gamberi e una ventina di calamari, questo è un antipasto non un secondo come dicono dal menù. Manco fosse stellato! Il cous cous molto speziato e con 4 pezzi di pesce. Insomma, secondo me per essere in Sicilia, dove ho mangiato più abbondante a buon prezzo questo è l’eccesso dall’altra parte. Non ci tornerò

22/09/2024: Cucina armoniosa. Ad arricchire i piatti il gusto pregiato del pesce fresco e preparato con cura, non tralasciando nessun dettaglio al caso. Gli antipasti una delizia. Servizio e professionalità TOP. Davide number 1. Alla prossima ragazzi

23/10/2024: Perfect view across the sea and towards the national park. Excellent menu with good mixture of local and contemporary dishes. Very good wine list and really attentive staff. Recommend for dinner or lunch. We ate several of their recommended traditional Sicilian dishes.

20/10/2024: Giornata a Scopello siamo andati a mangiare in questo ristorante molto bello pulito in mezzo al verde abbiamo mangiato benissimo tutto molto curato mangiato a base di pesce ottimo e fresco ,ma soprattutto con una vista pazzesca sopra i faraglioni di Scopello meraviglioso lo consiglio vivamente tra l’altro non si spende neanche tanto
