10/04/2026: Great dining experience! We ordered bruschetta, calamari, seabass and pasta. Great environment in the garden and the food were all so flavourful. It’s really cozy and relaxing to be here having dinner. If you are looking for great food and chill homey vibes this is the place!

04/04/2026: Menu outside didn’t have to do anything with the one inside, prices were much higher and less choices than the one outside, food was good but it took us by surprise when we saw the check

One comment for improvement, it would be great to have a smaller bottle of water as for 1 person 75cl is way too much! I ordered a fresh orange juice instead. 09/04/2026: My family and I went here twice in four days - that should speak for itself. Very easy and quick, and the food is delicious. Staff is also very friendly. If you sit outside, the people watching is great, as this restaurant is located on a busy side street.

12/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tao Beach Club – Excellent Experience! Tao Beach Club is an excellent option for a relaxing day at the beach. The service is outstanding, and the restaurant is truly top-notch. A special thank you to Natalia, who is exceptionally customer-focused — even though the club was fully booked, she called me back as soon as a cabana became available and reserved it for us. It happened to be the last day of the season, and my wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made it a perfect ending to our trip. Highly recommended!

16/10/2025: We arrived here near to closing time but were greeted with warmth and a smile. We shared a jug of local white wine and Classic Bruschetto 👌 We also had the vegetarian macaroni dish and it was yummy.

02/04/2026: We had a lovely lunch here, 4 adults and a 3 yr old. Alessio was great, perfect service and really aware of what you need to keep our toddler chill! Food was delicious. Sicilian antipasto was great! Cannot recommend more highly! Thank you so much!

06/03/2026: I'm sharing an experience from a year ago, which I'd decided not to share, but then changed my mind. There were two of us, we ate wonderfully, and we had a great time overall. Unfortunately, however, the owner brought us a tray of fresh fish with lobsters inside, telling us that "fresh fish costs (if I'm not mistaken) €65/kg." While I was trying to decide what to eat, he himself offered me spaghetti with the lobster from the tray, and I accepted. After weighing it, he politely told me it was about 500 grams. The bill arrived; my lobster entree cost about €76. €150/kg per lobster, which we hadn't been told. The food was good, the place was nice, but this was a real "smart move" that didn't make sense. In any case, I recommend the place, but also ask the price of everything.

09/02/2026: My wife and I dined here while on vacation. The setting is absolutely lovely on the steps. The food — while not innovative or unique — was perfectly cooked and tasty. I would normally have given this place 5 stars were it not for the obnoxious service. I asked the server for two glasses of red wine to try before choosing one. There was no list of wines by the glass (mind you), so it was not clear how many total wines there were by the glass. Or if a wine by the glass list existed, it wasn’t presented to us. The server brought out the glasses, but I didn’t care for either so I asked if there was maybe a 3rd I could try. That’s when — in the most condescending manner I’ve ever experienced from a waiter in my life — they scoffed and laughed at me saying “in Sicily there are only two types of red wine.” Translation: “you idiot…why are you bothering me with such dumb requests.” I was so astonished and rattled at how they mocked me that I had to excuse myself from the table and go to the bathroom to take a pause. When I came out of the bathroom I was visibly shaken that the owner came up to me to ask what was wrong. I told him what happened and asked for a new server. The owner — a truly gracious soul whose wife was about to give birth any day — offered to be our server for the night. While the owner did his best to rectify the situation, the evening had already been ruined. I would’ve given 1 star had it not been for the kindhearted owner who understood the importance of service relative to the high prices they charge. While this happened maybe 9-10 months ago, it still pops into my mind from time to time. I’m writing this bad review for my own personal closure so I can stop thinking about how mistreated I was, and to warn the owner that others will leave bad reviews if they keep that obnoxious waiter on staff. And, for the record, their staff should be educated on Sicilian wine better. While there are indeed two main red varietals Sicily is famous for, there are plenty more that are grown in Sicily. So they mocked me for not knowing something that they were completely wrong about. How ironic.

28/11/2025: Beautiful setting and super romantic. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Portions are small so marked down for that in terms of value for money. Marked down on service as was charged an additional €30 for a bottle of wine we did not order. Did not notice until we got back to the hotel as we were in a rush to pay because it started to rain and we were outside! With that being said I would go again, without the kids and make sure I check the bill properly next time! The outdoor terrace is truly stunning.

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

16/02/2026: A very average experience. While the pizza was decent, the Aglio Olio pasta was a disaster. It was completely flavorless and lacked spice.

13/02/2026: Having had the experience at the Cyclope, which we didn't know was under the same management, we were looking for a place to eat well. I must say the food was decent, but the tiramisu was terrible, so much so that we vomited all night. I remind you of one fundamental thing: a second course must be served strictly cut on a flat plate. Perhaps because there was a group and they didn't have plates, it was served on a very deep plate. It was poorly cooked, a shame.

31/12/2025: is terrible, the food have no taste or taste bad. is expensive and 4€ only for the fork and the knife.

30/12/2025: Food was average, we got a fish from the specials which was a bit rubbery and the potatoes for garnish were just raw. Sea food pasta with clams and zucchini and mint was kind of ok.

28/03/2026: I think it's one of the most beautiful places ever. Without exaggeration, a bay that for me even surpasses Isola Bella: simply the best. But what makes this place truly special is everything else: the impeccable management, the genuine courtesy, the professionalism, the constant commitment. Behind all this is a story: from Ulla and Saro, the heart and soul of the project, to their three children who, following in their footsteps, have carried on an important tradition, innovating and improving it without ever betraying its essence. There's evident care in the sourcing of the products, in the daily menu, in the drinks, in the service... everything is thought out, everything is done with passion. And that makes the difference.

01/03/2026: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS We had a serious allergy requirement that was ignored after reminding them on 5 occasions. Was then spoken to EXTRENELY rudely and had no resolution with the OWNER herself. We have reported the incident with police and will be taking matters further!!

13/04/2026: They charge you 2 euro extra/ person, as a Coperta tax, we paid 14 eur extra only that we ate there. Not pleased.
