07/12/2025: Today, December 7, 2025, my mom and I went to this place for lunch, which we found by chance on the outdoor terrace. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, and I'd say it was excellent value for money. We ordered two first courses and an appetizer, which were truly excellent. Nothing to complain about. They also offered us bruschetta with exceptional olive oil. The dishes were super generous and not loaded with oil or salt (which I prefer, since I was afraid my first course, with the sardine, would be too salty). The octopus was tender and still warm, and with the contrasting freshness of the arugula and tomato, it was superb. In short, needless to say, I would recommend it to anyone spending a day in the beautiful Taormina.

28/11/2025: Wonderful family run establishment in the heart of Corso Umberto! Walk in with family of 5 but they accommodated us no problem. Service was excellent and food was delicious! My pasta was to die for…portions are great and we all left happy and full! Grazie Team Gambero Rosso!

19/09/2025: We had the perfect day at Tao beach club ! Incredible vibe! Beautiful atmosphere. The sun chairs, umbrellas , drinks and food were perfection. Everything was made with the best ingredients and presented with care. We loved having use of the tubes to go in the water. Felt like I was in an episode of White Lotus!

16/10/2025: Portions were small for pretty unremarkable food - lunch menu price seems fine for such a tourist saturated area, until you’re charged an additional 3 euro per person for a cover charge, which does not include any bread etc. I’d absolutely say avoid.

05/10/2025: A wonderful experience, we chose the Mare&Aria tasting menu. The exquisite dishes, the impeccable welcome and service made it a Saturday lunch to remember. We also recommend it for the splendid sea view.

05/11/2025: We had a wonderful meal at La Zagara. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the pasta and seafood, very sicilian experience. The staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome. The place has a nice, relaxed vibes, and very close to the center. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina!

10/11/2025: We had a delicious pizza for lunch on the beach! With a bottle of wine. Everything they give you on the beach is plastic. The restaurant has a wider menu and better service. But I still recommend it. The guys are amazing! They never stop, serving everyone with the best attitude. We had a wonderful time!

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

19/10/2025: The place is enchanting at first glance. The garden is beautifully kept, and the exposed stone gives the setting a sense of age. In short: beautiful! Except for the interior, which is a bit bare. The quality of the food is truly high. The raw fish is delicious, and the tagliolini with purple shrimp and Bronte pistachios are truly special. I highly recommend it! The value for money, for Taormina, is extremely good. The focaccia served with olive oil—a local custom, but usually only with bread—is also very good. The service is attentive. Nothing special, but definitely worthy of the place.

Dining here feels like an experience rather than just a meal, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, and unforgettable scenery. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch, Le Orologio delivers perfection in taste, ambiance, and view. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in the area!

14/10/2025: My mother and I arrived here. We had planned to eat, but we decided to have a glass of wine. So we asked for the menu and ended up giving it back because we only wanted a glass of wine. A grumpy face immediately appeared. Well, we just accepted that until the bill finally arrived. €20 for two glasses of house wine. How badly can you get ripped off? I'd say if you only want a drink, go somewhere else quickly, because they'll rip you off right here.
